Marcos 9

Und er sprach zu ihnen: Wahrlich, ich sage euch: Es sind etliche von denen, die hier stehen, welche den Tod nicht schmecken werden, bis sie das Reich Gottes, in Macht gekommen, gesehen haben.

TAMBIÉN les dijo: De cierto os digo que hay algunos de los que están aquí, que no gustarán la muerte hasta que hayan visto el reino de Dios que viene con potencia.

And he said unto them, Verily I say unto you, That there be some of them that stand here, which shall not taste of death, till they have seen the kingdom of God come with power.

He said to them, “Most certainly I tell you, there are some standing here who will in no way taste death until they see God’s Kingdom come with power.”

Und nach sechs Tagen nimmt Jesus den Petrus und den Jakobus und Johannes mit und führt sie auf einen hohen Berg besonders allein. Und er wurde vor ihnen umgestaltet;

Y seis días después tomó Jesús á Pedro, y á Jacobo, y á Juan, y los sacó aparte solos á un monte alto; y fué transfigurado delante de ellos.

And after six days Jesus taketh with him Peter, and James, and John, and leadeth them up into an high mountain apart by themselves: and he was transfigured before them.

After six days Jesus took with him Peter, James, and John, and brought them up onto a high mountain privately by themselves, and he was changed into another form in front of them.

und seine Kleider wurden glänzend, sehr weiß wie Schnee , wie kein Walker auf der Erde weiß machen kann.

Y sus vestidos se volvieron resplandecientes, muy blancos, como la nieve; tanto que ningún lavador en la tierra los puede hacer tan blancos.

And his raiment became shining, exceeding white as snow; so as no fuller on earth can white them.

His clothing became glistening, exceedingly white, like snow, such as no launderer on earth can whiten them.

Und es erschien ihnen Elias mit Moses, und sie unterredeten sich mit Jesu.

Y les apareció Elías con Moisés, que hablaban con Jesús.

And there appeared unto them Elias with Moses: and they were talking with Jesus.

Elijah and Moses appeared to them, and they were talking with Jesus.

Und Petrus hob an und spricht zu Jesu: Rabbi, es ist gut, daß wir hier sind; und laß uns drei Hütten machen, dir eine und Moses eine und Elias eine.

Entonces respondiendo Pedro, dice á Jesús: Maestro, bien será que nos quedemos aquí, y hagamos tres pabellones: para ti uno, y para Moisés otro, y para Elías otro;

And Peter answered and said to Jesus, Master, it is good for us to be here: and let us make three tabernacles; one for thee, and one for Moses, and one for Elias.

Peter answered Jesus, “Rabbi, it is good for us to be here. Let’s make three tents: one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah.”

Denn er wußte nicht, was er sagen sollte, denn sie waren voll Furcht.

Porque no sabía lo que hablaba; que estaban espantados.

For he wist not what to say; for they were sore afraid.

For he didn’t know what to say, for they were very afraid.

Und es kam eine Wolke, welche sie überschattete; und eine Stimme kam aus der Wolke: Dieser ist mein geliebter Sohn, ihn höret.

Y vino una nube que les hizo sombra, y una voz de la nube, que decía: Este es mi Hijo amado: á él oid.

And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

A cloud came, overshadowing them, and a voice came out of the cloud, “This is my beloved Son. Listen to him.”

Und plötzlich, als sie sich umblickten, sahen sie niemand mehr, sondern Jesum allein bei sich.

Y luego, como miraron, no vieron más á nadie consigo, sino á Jesús solo.

And suddenly, when they had looked round about, they saw no man any more, save Jesus only with themselves.

Suddenly looking around, they saw no one with them any more, except Jesus only.

Als sie aber von dem Berge herabstiegen, gebot er ihnen, daß sie niemand erzählen sollten, was sie gesehen hatten, außer wenn der Sohn des Menschen aus den Toten auferstanden wäre.

Y descendiendo ellos del monte, les mandó que á nadie dijesen lo que habían visto, sino cuando el Hijo del hombre hubiese resucitado de los muertos.

And as they came down from the mountain, he charged them that they should tell no man what things they had seen, till the Son of man were risen from the dead.

As they were coming down from the mountain, he commanded them that they should tell no one what things they had seen, until after the Son of Man had risen from the dead.

Und sie behielten das Wort, indem sie sich untereinander befragten: Was ist das: aus den Toten auferstehen?

Y retuvieron la palabra en sí, altercando qué sería aquéllo: Resucitar de los muertos.

And they kept that saying with themselves, questioning one with another what the rising from the dead should mean.

They kept this saying to themselves, questioning what the “rising from the dead” meant.

Und sie fragten ihn und sprachen: Was sagen die Schriftgelehrten, daß Elias zuerst kommen müsse?

Y le preguntaron, diciendo: ¿Qué es lo que los escribas dicen, que es necesario que Elías venga antes?

And they asked him, saying, Why say the scribes that Elias must first come?

They asked him, saying, “Why do the scribes say that Elijah must come first?”

Er aber antwortete und sprach zu ihnen: Elias zwar kommt zuerst und stellt alle Dinge wieder her; und wie über den Sohn des Menschen geschrieben steht, daß er vieles leiden und für nichts geachtet werden soll.

Y respondiendo él, les dijo: Elías á la verdad, viniendo antes, restituirá todas las cosas: y como está escrito del Hijo del hombre, que padezca mucho y sea tenido en nada.

And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.

He said to them, “Elijah indeed comes first, and restores all things. How is it written about the Son of Man, that he should suffer many things and be despised?

Aber ich sage euch, daß auch Elias gekommen ist, und sie haben ihm getan, was irgend sie wollten, so wie über ihn geschrieben steht.

Empero os digo que Elías ya vino, y le hicieron todo lo que quisieron, como está escrito de él.

But I say unto you, That Elias is indeed come, and they have done unto him whatsoever they listed, as it is written of him.

But I tell you that Elijah has come, and they have also done to him whatever they wanted to, even as it is written about him.”

Und als er zu den Jüngern kam, sah er eine große Volksmenge um sie her, und Schriftgelehrte, die sich mit ihnen stritten.

Y como vino á los discípulos, vió grande compañía alrededor de ellos, y escribas que disputaban con ellos.

And when he came to his disciples, he saw a great multitude about them, and the scribes questioning with them.

Coming to the disciples, he saw a great multitude around them, and scribes questioning them.

Und alsbald, als die ganze Volksmenge ihn sah, war sie sehr erstaunt; und sie liefen herzu und begrüßten ihn.

Y luego toda la gente, viéndole, se espantó, y corriendo á él, le saludaron.

And straightway all the people, when they beheld him, were greatly amazed, and running to him saluted him.

Immediately all the multitude, when they saw him, were greatly amazed, and running to him, greeted him.

Und er fragte sie: Worüber streitet ihr euch mit ihnen?

Y preguntóles: ¿Qué disputáis con ellos?

And he asked the scribes, What question ye with them?

He asked the scribes, “What are you asking them?”

Und einer aus der Volksmenge antwortete ihm: Lehrer, ich habe meinen Sohn zu dir gebracht, der einen stummen Geist hat;

Y respondiendo uno de la compañía, dijo: Maestro, traje á ti mi hijo, que tiene un espíritu mudo,

And one of the multitude answered and said, Master, I have brought unto thee my son, which hath a dumb spirit;

One of the multitude answered, “Teacher, I brought to you my son, who has a mute spirit;

und wo immer er ihn ergreift, reißt er ihn, und er schäumt und knirscht mit seinen Zähnen, und er magert ab. Und ich sprach zu deinen Jüngern, daß sie ihn austreiben möchten, und sie vermochten es nicht.

El cual, donde quiera que le toma, le despedaza; y echa espumarajos, y cruje los dientes, y se va secando: y dije á tus discípulos que le echasen fuera, y no pudieron.

And wheresoever he taketh him, he teareth him: and he foameth, and gnasheth with his teeth, and pineth away: and I spake to thy disciples that they should cast him out; and they could not.

and wherever it seizes him, it throws him down; and he foams at the mouth, grinds his teeth, and becomes rigid. I asked your disciples to cast it out, and they weren’t able.”

Er aber antwortet ihnen und spricht: O ungläubiges Geschlecht! Bis wann soll ich bei euch sein? Bis wann soll ich euch ertragen? Bringet ihn zu mir.

Y respondiendo él, les dijo: ¡Oh generación infiel! ¿hasta cuándo estaré con vosotros? ¿hasta cuándo os tengo de sufrir? Traédmele.

He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.

He answered him, “Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me.”

Und sie brachten ihn zu ihm. Und als er ihn sah, zerrte ihn alsbald der Geist; und er fiel zur Erde und wälzte sich schäumend.

Y se le trajeron: y como le vió, luego el espíritu le desgarraba; y cayendo en tierra, se revolcaba, echando espumarajos.

And they brought him unto him: and when he saw him, straightway the spirit tare him; and he fell on the ground, and wallowed foaming.

They brought him to him, and when he saw him, immediately the spirit convulsed him and he fell on the ground, wallowing and foaming at the mouth.

Und er fragte seinen Vater: Wie lange Zeit ist es, daß ihm dies geschehen ist? Er aber sprach:

Y Jesús preguntó á su padre: ¿Cuánto tiempo há que le aconteció esto? Y él dijo: Desde niño:

And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.

He asked his father, “How long has it been since this has been happening to him?” He said, “From childhood.

Von Kindheit an; und oftmals hat er ihn sogar ins Feuer geworfen und ins Wasser, auf daß er ihn umbrächte; aber wenn du etwas kannst, so erbarme dich unser und hilf uns!

Y muchas veces le echa en el fuego y en aguas, para matarle; mas, si puedes algo, ayúdanos, teniendo misericordia de nosotros.

And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.

Often it has cast him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”

Jesus aber sprach zu ihm: Das "wenn du kannst" ist, wenn du glauben kannst; dem Glaubenden ist alles möglich.

Y Jesús le dijo: Si puedes creer, al que cree todo es posible.

Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.

Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”

Und alsbald rief der Vater des Kindleins und sagte mit Tränen : Ich glaube; hilf meinem Unglauben!

Y luego el padre del muchacho dijo clamando: Creo, ayuda mi incredulidad.

And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.

Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears, “I believe. Help my unbelief!”

Als aber Jesus sah, daß eine Volksmenge zusammenlief, bedrohte er den unreinen Geist, indem er zu ihm sprach: Du stummer und tauber Geist, ich gebiete dir: fahre von ihm aus und fahre nicht mehr in ihn.

Y como Jesús vió que la multitud se agolpaba, reprendió al espíritu inmundo, diciéndole: Espíritu mudo y sordo, yo te mando, sal de él, y no entres más en él.

When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.

When Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”

Und schreiend und ihn sehr zerrend fuhr er aus; und er wurde wie tot, so daß die meisten sagten:

Entonces el espíritu clamando y desgarrándole mucho, salió; y él quedó como muerto, de modo que muchos decían: Está muerto.

And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.

After crying out and convulsing him greatly, it came out of him. The boy became like one dead, so much that most of them said, “He is dead.”

Er ist gestorben. Jesus aber nahm ihn bei der Hand und richtete ihn empor; und er stand auf.

Mas Jesús tomándole de la mano, enderezóle; y se levantó.

But Jesus took him by the hand, and lifted him up; and he arose.

But Jesus took him by the hand and raised him up; and he arose.

Und als er in ein Haus getreten war, fragten ihn seine Jünger besonders: Warum haben wir ihn nicht austreiben können?

Y como él entró en casa, sus discípulos le preguntaron aparte: ¿Por qué nosotros no pudimos echarle fuera?

And when he was come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, Why could not we cast him out?

When he had come into the house, his disciples asked him privately, “Why couldn’t we cast it out?”

Und er sprach zu ihnen: Diese Art kann durch nichts ausfahren, als nur durch Gebet und Fasten.

Y les dijo: Este género con nada puede salir, sino con oración y ayuno.

And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

He said to them, “This kind can come out by nothing but by prayer and fasting.”

Und sie gingen von dannen hinweg und zogen durch Galiläa; und er wollte nicht, daß es jemand erführe.

Y habiendo salido de allí, caminaron por Galilea; y no quería que nadie lo supiese.

And they departed thence, and passed through Galilee; and he would not that any man should know it.

They went out from there and passed through Galilee. He didn’t want anyone to know it,

Denn er lehrte seine Jünger und sprach zu ihnen: Der Sohn des Menschen wird überliefert in der Menschen Hände, und sie werden ihn töten; und nachdem er getötet worden ist, wird er nach drei Tagen auferstehen.

Porque enseñaba á sus discípulos, y les decía: El Hijo del hombre será entregado en manos de hombres, y le matarán; mas muerto él, resucitará al tercer día.

For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.

for he was teaching his disciples, and said to them, “The Son of Man is being handed over to the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, on the third day he will rise again.”

Sie aber verstanden die Rede nicht und fürchteten sich, ihn zu fragen.

Pero ellos no entendían esta palabra, y tenían miedo de preguntarle.

But they understood not that saying, and were afraid to ask him.

But they didn’t understand the saying, and were afraid to ask him.

Und er kam nach Kapernaum, und als er in dem Hause war, fragte er sie: Was habt ihr auf dem Wege verhandelt?

Y llegó á Capernaum; y así que estuvo en casa, les preguntó: ¿Qué disputabais entre vosotros en el camino?

And he came to Capernaum: and being in the house he asked them, What was it that ye disputed among yourselves by the way?

He came to Capernaum, and when he was in the house he asked them, “What were you arguing among yourselves on the way?”

Sie aber schwiegen; denn sie hatten sich auf dem Wege untereinander besprochen, wer der Größte sei.

Mas ellos callaron; porque los unos con los otros habían disputado en el camino quién había de ser el mayor.

But they held their peace: for by the way they had disputed among themselves, who should be the greatest.

But they were silent, for they had disputed with one another on the way about who was the greatest.

Und nachdem er sich niedergesetzt hatte, rief er die Zwölfe; und er spricht zu ihnen: Wenn jemand der Erste sein will, so soll er der Letzte von allen und aller Diener sein.

Entonces sentándose, llamó á los doce, y les dice: Si alguno quiere ser el primero, será el postrero de todos, y el servidor de todos.

And he sat down, and called the twelve, and saith unto them, If any man desire to be first, the same shall be last of all, and servant of all.

He sat down and called the twelve; and he said to them, “If any man wants to be first, he shall be last of all, and servant of all.”

Und er nahm ein Kindlein und stellte es in ihre Mitte; und als er es in seine Arme genommen hatte, sprach er zu ihnen:

Y tomando un niño, púsolo en medio de ellos; y tomándole en sus brazos, les dice:

And he took a child, and set him in the midst of them: and when he had taken him in his arms, he said unto them,

He took a little child and set him in the middle of them. Taking him in his arms, he said to them,

Wer irgend eines solcher Kindlein aufnehmen wird in meinem Namen, nimmt mich auf; und wer irgend mich aufnehmen wird, nimmt nicht mich auf, sondern den, der mich gesandt hat.

El que recibiere en mi nombre uno de los tales niños, á mí recibe; y el que á mí recibe, no recibe á mí, mas al que me envió.

Whosoever shall receive one of such children in my name, receiveth me: and whosoever shall receive me, receiveth not me, but him that sent me.

“Whoever receives one such little child in my name receives me; and whoever receives me, doesn’t receive me, but him who sent me.”

Johannes aber antwortete ihm und sprach: Lehrer, wir sahen jemand, der uns nicht nachfolgt, Dämonen austreiben in deinem Namen; und wir wehrten ihm, weil er uns nicht nachfolgt.

Y respondióle Juan, diciendo: Maestro, hemos visto á uno que en tu nombre echaba fuera los demonios, el cual no nos sigue; y se lo prohibimos, porque no nos sigue.

And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.

John said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone who doesn’t follow us casting out demons in your name; and we forbade him, because he doesn’t follow us.”

Jesus aber sprach: Wehret ihm nicht, denn es ist niemand, der ein Wunderwerk in meinem Namen tun und bald übel von mir zu reden vermögen wird;

Y Jesús dijo: No se lo prohibáis; porque ninguno hay que haga milagro en mi nombre que luego pueda decir mal de mí.

But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.

But Jesus said, “Don’t forbid him, for there is no one who will do a mighty work in my name and be able quickly to speak evil of me.

denn wer nicht wider uns ist, ist für uns.

Porque el que no es contra nosotros, por nosotros es.

For he that is not against us is on our part.

For whoever is not against us is on our side.

Denn wer irgend euch mit einem Becher Wassers tränken wird in meinem Namen, weil ihr Christi seid, wahrlich, ich sage euch: er wird seinen Lohn nicht verlieren.

Y cualquiera que os diere un vaso de agua en mi nombre, porque sois de Cristo, de cierto os digo que no perderá su recompensa.

For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

For whoever will give you a cup of water to drink in my name because you are Christ’s, most certainly I tell you, he will in no way lose his reward.

Und wer irgend einen der Kleinen, die an mich glauben, ärgern wird, dem wäre besser, wenn ein Mühlstein um seinen Hals gelegt, und er ins Meer geworfen würde.

Y cualquiera que escandalizare á uno de estos pequeñitos que creen en mí, mejor le fuera si se le atase una piedra de molino al cuello, y fuera echado en la mar.

And whosoever shall offend one of these little ones that believe in me, it is better for him that a millstone were hanged about his neck, and he were cast into the sea.

“Whoever will cause one of these little ones who believe in me to stumble, it would be better for him if he were thrown into the sea with a millstone hung around his neck.

Und wenn deine Hand dich ärgert, so haue sie ab. Es ist dir besser, als Krüppel in das Leben einzugehen, als mit zwei Händen in die Hölle hinabzufahren, in das unauslöschliche Feuer,

Y si tu mano te escandalizare, córtala: mejor te es entrar á la vida manco, que teniendo dos manos ir á la Gehenna, al fuego que no puede ser apagado;

And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire,

wo ihr Wurm nicht stirbt und das Feuer nicht erlischt .

Donde su gusano no muere, y el fuego nunca se apaga.

Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’

Und wenn dein Fuß dich ärgert, so haue ihn ab. Es ist dir besser, lahm in das Leben einzugehen, als mit zwei Füßen in die Hölle geworfen zu werden, in das unauslöschliche Feuer,

Y si tu pie te fuere ocasión de caer, córtalo: mejor te es entrar á la vida cojo, que teniendo dos pies ser echado en la Gehenna, al fuego que no puede ser apagado;

And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:

If your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life lame, rather than having your two feet to be cast into Gehenna, into the fire that will never be quenched—

wo ihr Wurm nicht stirbt und das Feuer nicht erlischt .

Donde el gusano de ellos no muere, y el fuego nunca se apaga.

Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’

Und wenn dein Auge dich ärgert, so wirf es weg. Es ist dir besser, einäugig in das Reich Gottes einzugehen, als mit zwei Augen in die Hölle des Feuers geworfen zu werden,

Y si tu ojo te fuere ocasión de caer, sácalo: mejor te es entrar al reino de Dios con un ojo, que teniendo dos ojos ser echado á la Gehenna;

And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:

If your eye causes you to stumble, throw it out. It is better for you to enter into God’s Kingdom with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire,

wo ihr Wurm nicht stirbt und das Feuer nicht erlischt.

Donde el gusano de ellos no muere, y el fuego nunca se apaga.

Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’

Denn jeder wird mit Feuer gesalzen werden, und jedes Schlachtopfer wird mit Salz gesalzen werden.

Porque todos serán salados con fuego, y todo sacrificio será salado con sal.

For every one shall be salted with fire, and every sacrifice shall be salted with salt.

For everyone will be salted with fire, and every sacrifice will be seasoned with salt.

Das Salz ist gut; wenn aber das Salz unsalzig geworden ist, womit wollt ihr es würzen? Habt Salz in euch selbst und seid in Frieden untereinander.

Buena es la sal; mas si la sal fuere desabrida, ¿con qué la adobaréis? Tened en vosotros mismos sal; y tened paz los unos con los otros.

Salt is good: but if the salt have lost his saltness, wherewith will ye season it? Have salt in yourselves, and have peace one with another.

Salt is good, but if the salt has lost its saltiness, with what will you season it? Have salt in yourselves, and be at peace with one another.”
