Er wusste nämlich nicht, wie er reagieren (was er antworten) sollte; denn (so sehr) sie fürchteten sich (waren in Furcht geraten) .

And he answered and told them, Elias verily cometh first, and restoreth all things; and how it is written of the Son of man, that he must suffer many things, and be set at nought.
He said to them, “Elijah indeed comes first, and restores all things. How is it written about the Son of Man, that he should suffer many things and be despised?

He answereth him, and saith, O faithless generation, how long shall I be with you? how long shall I suffer you? bring him unto me.
He answered him, “Unbelieving generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him to me.”

And he asked his father, How long is it ago since this came unto him? And he said, Of a child.

Ja (und), mehrfach hat er ihn sogar (sowohl) ins Feuer oder (als auch) ins Wasser geworfen, um ihn umzubringen. Ich flehe dich an (aber), wenn du etwas vermagst (wenn etwas in deiner Macht steht), dann hilf uns und hab Mitleid mit uns (erbarme dich unser)! “
Y muchas veces le echa en el fuego y en aguas, para matarle; mas, si puedes algo, ayúdanos, teniendo misericordia de nosotros.
And ofttimes it hath cast him into the fire, and into the waters, to destroy him: but if thou canst do any thing, have compassion on us, and help us.
Often it has cast him both into the fire and into the water to destroy him. But if you can do anything, have compassion on us and help us.”
Jesus antwortete ihm: {Das} „'Wenn du es vermagst (Wenn es in deiner Macht steht)'... - Wer glaubt, vermag ''alles'' (ist allmächtig)! “
Y Jesús le dijo: Si puedes creer, al que cree todo es posible.
Jesus said unto him, If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.
Jesus said to him, “If you can believe, all things are possible to him who believes.”
Sofort (Da) schrie (schluchzte) der Vater des Jungen und sagte: „Ich glaube! Hilf meinem Unglauben!“

And straightway the father of the child cried out, and said with tears, Lord, I believe; help thou mine unbelief.
Immediately the father of the child cried out with tears, “I believe. Help my unbelief!”
Als Jesus sah, dass eine Menschenmenge zusammenlief (herandrängte) , gebot er dem unreinen Geist {und sagte zu ihm}: „Du stummer und tauber Geist, ich befehle dir, komm aus ihm heraus (fahre aus ihm aus) und geh nie mehr in ihn hinein (fahre nie mehr in ihn hinein)!“
Y como Jesús vió que la multitud se agolpaba, reprendió al espíritu inmundo, diciéndole: Espíritu mudo y sordo, yo te mando, sal de él, y no entres más en él.
When Jesus saw that the people came running together, he rebuked the foul spirit, saying unto him, Thou dumb and deaf spirit, I charge thee, come out of him, and enter no more into him.
When Jesus saw that a multitude came running together, he rebuked the unclean spirit, saying to him, “You mute and deaf spirit, I command you, come out of him, and never enter him again!”
Und schreiend und den Jungen in heftigen Krämpfen schüttelnd kam er heraus (fuhr der Geist aus). Und er wurde (war) wie tot, daher (sodass) die Meisten (die Menge) sagten, er sei gestorben.
Entonces el espíritu clamando y desgarrándole mucho, salió; y él quedó como muerto, de modo que muchos decían: Está muerto.
And the spirit cried, and rent him sore, and came out of him: and he was as one dead; insomuch that many said, He is dead.
After crying out and convulsing him greatly, it came out of him. The boy became like one dead, so much that most of them said, “He is dead.”

And he said unto them, This kind can come forth by nothing, but by prayer and fasting.

For he taught his disciples, and said unto them, The Son of man is delivered into the hands of men, and they shall kill him; and after that he is killed, he shall rise the third day.
for he was teaching his disciples, and said to them, “The Son of Man is being handed over to the hands of men, and they will kill him; and when he is killed, on the third day he will rise again.”

And John answered him, saying, Master, we saw one casting out devils in thy name, and he followeth not us: and we forbad him, because he followeth not us.
John said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone who doesn’t follow us casting out demons in your name; and we forbade him, because he doesn’t follow us.”
Jesus aber sagte: „Hindert ihn nicht daran, denn es gibt niemanden, der Wunder mit meinem Namen wirkt und schnell schlecht von mir zu sprechen vermag (von mir sprechen kann).

But Jesus said, Forbid him not: for there is no man which shall do a miracle in my name, that can lightly speak evil of me.

For whosoever shall give you a cup of water to drink in my name, because ye belong to Christ, verily I say unto you, he shall not lose his reward.

Y si tu mano te escandalizare, córtala: mejor te es entrar á la vida manco, que teniendo dos manos ir á la Gehenna, al fuego que no puede ser apagado;
And if thy hand offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter into life maimed, than having two hands to go into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
If your hand causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life maimed, rather than having your two hands to go into Gehenna, into the unquenchable fire,
wo ihr Wurm nicht stirbt und das Feuer nicht erlischt.
Donde su gusano no muere, y el fuego nunca se apaga.
Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.
‘where their worm doesn’t die, and the fire is not quenched.’
Und wenn dein Fuß dich zur Sünde verführen will (zur Sünde verführt, ärgert, vom Glauben abbringt), dann hau ihn ab! Denn es ist gut (besser), dass du lahm in das Leben eingehst, als die zwei Füße habend (mit beiden Füßen) in die Gehenna (Hölle) geworfen zu werden,
Y si tu pie te fuere ocasión de caer, córtalo: mejor te es entrar á la vida cojo, que teniendo dos pies ser echado en la Gehenna, al fuego que no puede ser apagado;
And if thy foot offend thee, cut it off: it is better for thee to enter halt into life, than having two feet to be cast into hell, into the fire that never shall be quenched:
If your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off. It is better for you to enter into life lame, rather than having your two feet to be cast into Gehenna, into the fire that will never be quenched—

Where their worm dieth not, and the fire is not quenched.

Und wenn dein Auge dich zur Sünde verführen will (zur Sünde verführt, ärgert, vom Glauben abbringt), reiß es aus! Denn es ist gut (besser), dass du einäugig in das Reich Gottes eingehst, als zwei Augen habend (mit zwei Augen) in die Gehenna (Hölle) geworfen zu werden,
Y si tu ojo te fuere ocasión de caer, sácalo: mejor te es entrar al reino de Dios con un ojo, que teniendo dos ojos ser echado á la Gehenna;
And if thine eye offend thee, pluck it out: it is better for thee to enter into the kingdom of God with one eye, than having two eyes to be cast into hell fire:
If your eye causes you to stumble, throw it out. It is better for you to enter into God’s Kingdom with one eye, rather than having two eyes to be cast into the Gehenna of fire,
