“Esses homens assinaram em nome de toda a nação — pelo povo em geral, pelos sacerdotes, pelos levitas, pelos porteiros, pelos cantores, pelos servidores do templo, e por todo o restante dos homens que, na companhia de suas esposas, dos filhos e filhas que tinham idade suficiente para entender, se haviam separado dos povos pagãos da terra a fim de servirem a Deus.

Porque todos nós, de todo o coração concordamos em fazer este juramento e estávamos prontos a aceitar a maldição de Deus se não obedecêssemos à sua Lei, seus mandamentos e ordenanças do Senhor, o nosso Senhor, conforme foram dados por Moisés, o servo de Deus.

Adhiriéronse á sus hermanos, sus principales, y vinieron en la protestación y en el juramento de que andarían en la ley de Dios, que fué dada por mano de Moisés siervo de Dios, y que guardarían y cumplirían todos los mandamientos de Jehová nuestro Señor, y sus juicios y sus estatutos;

“Também concordamos em não deixar que nossas filhas se casassem com jovens que não eram judeus, e que nossos filhos não se casassem com jovens que não eram judias.

Y que no daríamos nuestras hijas á los pueblos de la tierra, ni tomaríamos sus hijas para nuestros hijos.

And that we would not give our daughters unto the people of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons:

and that we would not give our daughters to the peoples of the land, nor take their daughters for our sons;

“E concordamos também neste ponto: Se indivíduos pagãos da terra trouxerem cereais ou outra mercadoria para vender no sábado ou em qualquer outro dia santificado, nós não compraríamos nada. E concordamos que ninguém trabalharia na terra a cada sete anos, e ainda perdoaríamos e cancelaríamos as dívidas de nossos irmãos judeus.

Asimismo, que si los pueblos de la tierra trajesen á vender mercaderías y comestibles en día de sábado, nada tomaríamos de ellos en sábado, ni en día santificado; y que dejaríamos el año séptimo, con remisión de toda deuda.

And if the people of the land bring ware or any victuals on the sabbath day to sell, that we would not buy it of them on the sabbath, or on the holy day: and that we would leave the seventh year, and the exaction of every debt.

“Também concordamos em contribuir anualmente uma determinada quantia para o templo, de maneira que houvesse dinheiro suficiente para as despesas da casa de nosso Deus:

“Então lançamos sorte a fim de escalar anualmente as famílias dos sacerdotes, dos levitas e do povo, para fornecer a lenha para as ofertas queimadas no templo de nosso Deus, no tempo determinado, para queimar sobre o altar do Senhor, o nosso Deus, conforme a Lei determina.

Echamos también las suertes, los sacerdotes, los Levitas, y el pueblo, acerca de la ofrenda de la leña, para traerla á la casa de nuestro Dios, según las casas de nuestros padres, en los tiempos determinados cada un año, para quemar sobre el altar de Jehová nuestro Dios, como está escrito en la ley.

And we cast the lots among the priests, the Levites, and the people, for the wood offering, to bring it into the house of our God, after the houses of our fathers, at times appointed year by year, to burn upon the altar of the LORD our God, as it is written in the law:

“Também concordamos em sempre trazer os primeiros frutos de cada colheita ou de toda árvore frutífera para o templo do Senhor.

Y que cada año traeríamos las primicias de nuestra tierra, y las primicias de todo fruto de todo árbol, á la casa de Jehová:

And to bring the firstfruits of our ground, and the firstfruits of all fruit of all trees, year by year, unto the house of the LORD:

“Concordamos em trazer para o templo de nosso Deus nossos filhos mais velhos, as primeiras crias de todo nosso rebanho, tanto de ovelhas como de bois, exatamente como a Lei manda; entregaremos essas ofertas aos sacerdotes que ali estiverem ministrando.

Asimismo los primogénitos de nuestros hijos y de nuestras bestias, como está escrito en la ley; y que traeríamos los primogénitos de nuestras vacas y de nuestras ovejas á la casa de nuestro Dios, á los sacerdotes que ministran en la casa de nuestro Dios:

Also the firstborn of our sons, and of our cattle, as it is written in the law, and the firstlings of our herds and of our flocks, to bring to the house of our God, unto the priests that minister in the house of our God:

“Nós traremos para os depósitos do templo de nosso Deus, aos sacerdotes, a massa de pão feita com o primeiro trigo colhido, e as nossas primeiras ofertas de cereal, do fruto da árvore, de nosso vinho novo e azeite de oliva. E prometemos trazer aos levitas a décima parte de tudo o que a nossa terra produzir, pois os levitas são os responsáveis pelo recebimento dos dízimos em todas as nossas cidades.

Que traeríamos también las primicias de nuestras masas, y nuestras ofrendas, y del fruto de todo árbol, del vino y del aceite, á los sacerdotes, á las cámaras de la casa de nuestro Dios, y el diezmo de nuestra tierra á los Levitas; y que los Levitas recibirían las décimas de nuestras labores en todas las ciudades:

And that we should bring the firstfruits of our dough, and our offerings, and the fruit of all manner of trees, of wine and of oil, unto the priests, to the chambers of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground unto the Levites, that the same Levites might have the tithes in all the cities of our tillage.

and that we should bring the first fruits of our dough, our wave offerings, the fruit of all kinds of trees, and the new wine and the oil, to the priests, to the rooms of the house of our God; and the tithes of our ground to the Levites; for they, the Levites, take the tithes in all our farming villages.

Um sacerdote descendente de Arão acompanhará os levitas quando eles receberem esses dízimos, e uma décima parte de tudo quanto os levitas receberem como dízimo será entregue ao templo de nosso Deus e colocado nos depósitos do templo.

Y que estaría el sacerdote hijo de Aarón con los Levitas, cuando los Levitas recibirían el diezmo: y que los Levitas llevarían el diezmo del diezmo á la casa de nuestro Dios, á las cámaras en la casa del tesoro.

And the priest the son of Aaron shall be with the Levites, when the Levites take tithes: and the Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes unto the house of our God, to the chambers, into the treasure house.

The priest, the descendent of Aaron, shall be with the Levites when the Levites take tithes. The Levites shall bring up the tithe of the tithes to the house of our God, to the rooms, into the treasure house.

A Lei determina que o povo de Israel e os levitas tragam essas ofertas de cereais, de vinho novo e de azeite de oliveira aos depósitos do templo, onde se guardam os utensílios para o santuário, para serem usados pelos sacerdotes de serviço, pelos porteiros e pelos cantores. “Assim todos concordamos em não sermos negligentes com as coisas do templo de nosso Deus”.

Porque á las cámaras han de llevar los hijos de Israel y los hijos de Leví la ofrenda del grano, del vino, y del aceite; y allí estarán los vasos del santuario, y los sacerdotes que ministran, y los porteros, y los cantores; y no abandonaremos la casa de nuestro Dios.

For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the offering of the corn, of the new wine, and the oil, unto the chambers, where are the vessels of the sanctuary, and the priests that minister, and the porters, and the singers: and we will not forsake the house of our God.

For the children of Israel and the children of Levi shall bring the wave offering of the grain, of the new wine, and of the oil, to the rooms where the vessels of the sanctuary are, and the priests who minister, with the gatekeepers and the singers. We will not forsake the house of our God.
