1Und die Obersten des Volkes wohnten in Jerusalem. Und das übrige Volk warf Lose, um je einen von zehn kommen zu lassen, damit er in Jerusalem, der heiligen Stadt, wohne, die neun anderen Teile aber in den Städten blieben.
2Und das Volk segnete alle Männer, die sich freiwillig erboten, in Jerusalem zu wohnen.
3Und dies sind die Häupter der Landschaft, welche in Jerusalem wohnten; in den Städten Judas aber wohnten, ein jeder in seinem Besitztum, in ihren Städten: Israel, die Priester und die Leviten und die Nethinim und die Söhne der Knechte Salomos.
4Und zwar wohnten in Jerusalem von den Söhnen Judas und von den Söhnen Benjamins; von den Söhnen Judas: Athaja, der Sohn Ussijas, des Sohnes Sekarjas, des Sohnes Amarjas, des Sohnes Schephatjas, des Sohnes Mahalalels, von den Söhnen Perez';
5und Maaseja, der Sohn Baruks, des Sohnes Kol-Hoses, des Sohnes Hasajas, des Sohnes Adajas, des Sohnes Jojaribs, des Sohnes Sekarjas, von den Schilonitern.
6Aller Söhne des Perez, die in Jerusalem wohnten, waren vierhundertachtundsechzig tapfere Männer.
7Und dies sind die Söhne Benjamins: Sallu, der Sohn Meschullams, des Sohnes Joeds, des Sohnes Pedajas, des Sohnes Kolajas, des Sohnes Maasejas, des Sohnes Ithiels, des Sohnes Jesajas;
8und nach ihm Gabbai-Sallai, neunhundertachtundzwanzig.
9Und Joel, der Sohn Sikris, war Aufseher über sie; und Juda, der Sohn Hassenuas, war über die Stadt als Zweiter. -
10Von den Priestern: Jedaja, [der Sohn des] Jojarib, Jakin,

13und seine Brüder, Häupter von Vaterhäusern: zweihundertzweiundvierzig; und Amaschsai, der Sohn Asarels, des Sohnes Achsais, des Sohnes Meschillemoths, des Sohnes Immers,
14und ihre Brüder, tüchtige Männer: hundertachtundzwanzig. Und Aufseher über sie war Sabdiel, der Sohn Haggedolims. -
15Und von den Leviten: Schemaja, der Sohn Haschubs, des Sohnes Asrikams, des Sohnes Haschabjas, des Sohnes Bunnis;
16und Schabbethai und Josabad, von den Häuptern der Leviten, welche über die äußeren Geschäfte des Hauses Gottes gesetzt waren;
17und Mattanja, der Sohn Michas, des Sohnes Sabdis, des Sohnes Asaphs, das Haupt; er stimmte den Lobgesang an beim Gebet; und Bakbukja, der Zweite, von seinen Brüdern; und Abda, der Sohn Schammuas, des Sohnes Galals, des Sohnes Jeduthuns.
18Aller Leviten in der heiligen Stadt waren zweihundertvierundachtzig. -
19Und die Torhüter: Akkub, Talmon und ihre Brüder, die in den Toren Wache hielten, hundertzweiundsiebzig. -
20(Und das übrige Israel, die Priester, die Leviten, waren in allen Städten Judas, ein jeder in seinem Erbteil. -
21Und die Nethinim wohnten auf dem Ophel; und Zicha und Gischpa waren über die Nethinim. -)
22Und Aufseher der Leviten in Jerusalem war Ussi, der Sohn Banis, des Sohnes Haschabjas, des Sohnes Mattanjas, des Sohnes Michas, von den Söhnen Asaphs, den Sängern, für das Geschäft im Hause Gottes.
23Denn ein Gebot des Königs war über sie ergangen, und eine Verpflichtung über die Sänger betreffs der täglichen Gebühr.
24Und Pethachja, der Sohn Meschesabeels, von den Söhnen Serachs, des Sohnes Judas, war zur Hand des Königs für alle Angelegenheiten des Volkes.
25Und was die Dörfer auf ihren Feldern betrifft, so wohnten von den Kindern Juda in Kirjath-Arba und seinen Tochterstädten und in Dibon und seinen Tochterstädten und in Jekabzeel und seinen Dörfern;
26und in Jeschua und in Molada und in Beth-Pelet,
27und in Hazar-Schual und in Beerseba und seinen Tochterstädten,
28und in Ziklag und in Mekona und in seinen Tochterstädten,
29und in En-Rimmon und in Zora und in Jarmuth,
30Sanoach, Adullam und seinen Dörfern, Lachis und seinen Feldern, Aseka und seinen Tochterstädten. Und sie ließen sich nieder von Beerseba bis zum Tale Hinnom.
31Und die Kinder Benjamin wohnten von Geba an in Mikmas und Aija und Bethel und seinen Tochterstädten,
32in Anathoth, Nob, Ananja,
33Hazor, Rama, Gittaim,
34Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35Lod und Ono, dem Tale der Werkleute.
36Und von den Leviten gehörten Abteilungen von Juda zu Benjamin.

1Y HABITARON los príncipes del pueblo en Jerusalem; mas el resto del pueblo echó suertes para traer uno de diez que morase en Jerusalem, ciudad santa, y las nueve partes en las otras ciudades.
2Y bendijo el pueblo á todos los varones que voluntariamente se ofrecieron á morar en Jerusalem.
3Y estos son los principales de la provincia que moraron en Jerusalem; mas en las ciudades de Judá habitaron cada uno en su posesión en sus ciudades, de Israel, de los sacerdotes, y Levitas, y Nethineos, y de los hijos de los siervos de Salomón.
4En Jerusalem pues habitaron de los hijos de Judá, y de los hijos de Benjamín. De los hijos de Judá: Athaías hijo de Uzzías, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Amarías, hijo de Sephatías, hijo de Mahalaleel, de los hijos de Phares;
5Y Maasías hijo de Baruch, hijo de Colhoze, hijo de Hazaías, hijo de Adaías, hijo de Joiarib, hijo de Zacarías, hijo de Siloni.
6Todos los hijos de Phares que moraron en Jerusalem, fueron cuatrocientos setenta y ocho hombres fuertes.

1And the rulers of the people dwelt at Jerusalem: the rest of the people also cast lots, to bring one of ten to dwell in Jerusalem the holy city, and nine parts to dwell in other cities.
2And the people blessed all the men, that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem.
3Now these are the chief of the province that dwelt in Jerusalem: but in the cities of Judah dwelt every one in his possession in their cities, to wit, Israel, the priests, and the Levites, and the Nethinims, and the children of Solomon’s servants.
4And at Jerusalem dwelt certain of the children of Judah, and of the children of Benjamin. Of the children of Judah; Athaiah the son of Uzziah, the son of Zechariah, the son of Amariah, the son of Shephatiah, the son of Mahalaleel, of the children of Perez;
5And Maaseiah the son of Baruch, the son of Col-hozeh, the son of Hazaiah, the son of Adaiah, the son of Joiarib, the son of Zechariah, the son of Shiloni.
6All the sons of Perez that dwelt at Jerusalem were four hundred threescore and eight valiant men.

14And their brethren, mighty men of valour, an hundred twenty and eight: and their overseer was Zabdiel, the son of one of the great men.
15Also of the Levites: Shemaiah the son of Hashub, the son of Azrikam, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Bunni;
16And Shabbethai and Jozabad, of the chief of the Levites, had the oversight of the outward business of the house of God.
17And Mattaniah the son of Micha, the son of Zabdi, the son of Asaph, was the principal to begin the thanksgiving in prayer: and Bakbukiah the second among his brethren, and Abda the son of Shammua, the son of Galal, the son of Jeduthun.
18All the Levites in the holy city were two hundred fourscore and four.
19Moreover the porters, Akkub, Talmon, and their brethren that kept the gates, were an hundred seventy and two.
20And the residue of Israel, of the priests, and the Levites, were in all the cities of Judah, every one in his inheritance.
21But the Nethinims dwelt in Ophel: and Ziha and Gispa were over the Nethinims.
22The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Micha. Of the sons of Asaph, the singers were over the business of the house of God.
23For it was the king’s commandment concerning them, that a certain portion should be for the singers, due for every day.
24And Pethahiah the son of Meshezabeel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.
25And for the villages, with their fields, some of the children of Judah dwelt at Kirjath-arba, and in the villages thereof, and at Dibon, and in the villages thereof, and at Jekabzeel, and in the villages thereof,
26And at Jeshua, and at Moladah, and at Beth-phelet,
27And at Hazar-shual, and at Beer-sheba, and in the villages thereof,
28And at Ziklag, and at Mekonah, and in the villages thereof,
29And at En-rimmon, and at Zareah, and at Jarmuth,
30Zanoah, Adullam, and in their villages, at Lachish, and the fields thereof, at Azekah, and in the villages thereof. And they dwelt from Beer-sheba unto the valley of Hinnom.

22The overseer also of the Levites at Jerusalem was Uzzi the son of Bani, the son of Hashabiah, the son of Mattaniah, the son of Mica, of the sons of Asaph, the singers responsible for the service of God’s house.
23For there was a commandment from the king concerning them, and a settled provision for the singers, as every day required.
24Pethahiah the son of Meshezabel, of the children of Zerah the son of Judah, was at the king’s hand in all matters concerning the people.
25As for the villages with their fields, some of the children of Judah lived in Kiriath Arba and its towns, in Dibon and its towns, in Jekabzeel and its villages,
26in Jeshua, in Moladah, Beth Pelet,
27in Hazar Shual, in Beersheba and its towns,
28in Ziklag, in Meconah and in its towns,
29in En Rimmon, in Zorah, in Jarmuth,
30Zanoah, Adullam, and their villages, Lachish and its fields, and Azekah and its towns. So they encamped from Beersheba to the valley of Hinnom.
31The children of Benjamin also lived from Geba onward, at Michmash and Aija, and at Bethel and its towns,
32at Anathoth, Nob, Ananiah,
33Hazor, Ramah, Gittaim,
34Hadid, Zeboim, Neballat,
35Lod, and Ono, the valley of craftsmen.
36Of the Levites, certain divisions in Judah settled in Benjamin’s territory.
