And at the fountain gate, which was over against them, they went up by the stairs of the city of David, at the going up of the wall, above the house of David, even unto the water gate eastward.

And from above the gate of Ephraim, and above the old gate, and above the fish gate, and the tower of Hananeel, and the tower of Meah, even unto the sheep gate: and they stood still in the prison gate.

Also that day they offered great sacrifices, and rejoiced: for God had made them rejoice with great joy: the wives also and the children rejoiced: so that the joy of Jerusalem was heard even afar off.

Y ese día pusieron a algunos hombres sobre las habitaciones donde estaban almacenadas las cosas que habían sido dadas, por las ofrendas y los primeros frutos y las décimas, que conforme a la ley llegaban las cantidades, de los campos de Cada pueblo, fijado por la ley para los sacerdotes y los levitas, porque Judá se alegró a causa de los sacerdotes y los levitas que estaban en sus lugares.

Y en aquel día fueron puestos varones sobre las cámaras de los tesoros, de las ofrendas, de las primicias, y de los diezmos, para juntar en ellas, de los campos de las ciudades, las porciones legales para los sacerdotes y Levitas: porque era grande el gozo de Judá con respecto á los sacerdotes y Levitas que asistían.

And at that time were some appointed over the chambers for the treasures, for the offerings, for the firstfruits, and for the tithes, to gather into them out of the fields of the cities the portions of the law for the priests and Levites: for Judah rejoiced for the priests and for the Levites that waited.

Y ellos guardaban la ordenanza de la purificación y culto a su Dios, y fueron responsables de purificar las cosas, y también lo hicieron los cantores y los encargados de las puertas, como lo ordenaron David y Salomón, su hijo.

And both the singers and the porters kept the ward of their God, and the ward of the purification, according to the commandment of David, and of Solomon his son.

Porque en los días de David y Asaf en el pasado, había un maestro de la música, de cantos de agradecimiento y alabanza a Dios.

Y todo Israel en los días de Zorobabel y en los días de Nehemías dio lo que necesitaban a los cantores y los encargados de las puertas día tras día: e hicieron santos los ofrecimientos para los levitas; y los levitas hicieron lo mismo con los hijos de Aarón.

Y todo Israel en días de Zorobabel, y en días de Nehemías, daba raciones á los cantores y á los porteros, cada cosa en su día: consagraban asimismo sus porciones á los Levitas, y los Levitas consagraban parte á los hijos de Aarón.

And all Israel in the days of Zerubbabel, and in the days of Nehemiah, gave the portions of the singers and the porters, every day his portion: and they sanctified holy things unto the Levites; and the Levites sanctified them unto the children of Aaron.

All Israel in the days of Zerubbabel and in the days of Nehemiah gave the portions of the singers and the gatekeepers, as every day required; and they set apart that which was for the Levites; and the Levites set apart that which was for the sons of Aaron.
