Nehemías 13

Dans ce temps-là on lut dans le livre de Moïse, en présence du peuple, et l'on y trouva écrit qu'aucun Ammonite ni Moabite n'entrerait jamais dans l'assemblée de Dieu,

AQUEL día se leyó en el libro de Moisés oyéndolo el pueblo, y fué hallado en él escrito, que los Ammonitas y Moabitas no debían entrar jamás en la congregación de Dios;

disposa pour celui-ci d'une grande chambre, où l'on mettait auparavant les offrandes, l'encens, les ustensiles et la dîme du froment, du moût et de l'huile, ce qui était ordonné pour les Lévites, les chantres et les portiers, et ce qui était prélevé pour les sacrificateurs.

And I made treasurers over the treasuries, Shelemiah the priest, and Zadok the scribe, and of the Levites, Pedaiah: and next to them was Hanan the son of Zaccur, the son of Mattaniah: for they were counted faithful, and their office was to distribute unto their brethren.

Dans ce temps je vis en Juda des hommes qui foulaient au pressoir un jour de sabbat, et d'autres qui rentraient, en les chargeant sur des ânes, des gerbes et même du vin, du raisin et des figues et toute espèce de fardeaux, et qui les amenaient à Jérusalem au jour du sabbat ; et je les réprimandai le jour où ils vendirent leurs marchandises ;

En aquellos días ví en Judá algunos que pisaban en lagares el sábado, y que acarreaban haces, y cargaban asnos con vino, y también de uvas, de higos, y toda suerte de carga, y traían á Jerusalem en día de sábado; y protestéles acerca del día que vendían el mantenimiento.

In those days saw I in Judah some treading wine presses on the sabbath, and bringing in sheaves, and lading asses; as also wine, grapes, and figs, and all manner of burdens, which they brought into Jerusalem on the sabbath day: and I testified against them in the day wherein they sold victuals.

También estaban en ella Tirios que traían pescado y toda mercadería, y vendían en sábado á los hijos de Judá en Jerusalem.

There dwelt men of Tyre also therein, which brought fish, and all manner of ware, and sold on the sabbath unto the children of Judah, and in Jerusalem.

Et je réprimandai les principaux de Juda, et leur dis : Que signifie cette mauvaise action que vous faites en profanant le jour du sabbat ?

Et dès que les portes de Jérusalem étaient dans l'ombre, avant le sabbat, je dis qu'on fermât les portes ; je dis aussi qu'on ne les ouvrit pas jusqu'après le sabbat, et je postai de mes gens aux portes pour qu'aucun fardeau n'entrât le jour du sabbat ;

Then I testified against them, and said unto them, Why lodge ye about the wall? if ye do so again, I will lay hands on you. From that time forth came they no more on the sabbath.

Et je dis aux Lévites de se purifier et de venir garder les portes pour sanctifier le jour du sabbat. De cela aussi souviens-toi en ma faveur, ô mon Dieu, et épargne-moi, selon la grandeur de ta miséricorde !

Y dije á los Levitas que se purificasen, y viniesen á guardar las puertas, para santificar el día del sábado. También por esto acuérdate de mí, Dios mío, y perdóname según la muchedumbre de tu misericordia.

And I commanded the Levites that they should cleanse themselves, and that they should come and keep the gates, to sanctify the sabbath day. Remember me, O my God, concerning this also, and spare me according to the greatness of thy mercy.

N'est-ce pas en cela qu'a péché Salomon, roi d'Israël ? Et parmi de nombreuses nations il n'y a pas eu de roi comme lui, et il avait été aimé de son Dieu, et Dieu l'avait établi roi sur tout Israël. Lui aussi, les femmes étrangères l'ont fait pécher.

Et un des fils de Jojada, fils d'Eliasib, le grand sacrificateur, étant gendre de Samballat, Horonite, je le chassai d'auprès de moi.

Y uno de los hijos de Joiada hijo de Eliasib el gran sacerdote, era yerno de Sanballat Horonita: ahuyentélo por tanto de mí.
