Les faits de Néhémie, fils de Hacalia. Il arriva au mois de Kisleu, en la vingtième année, comme j’étais à Susan, la ville capitale,

PALABRAS de Nehemías, hijo de Hachâlías. Y acaeció en el mes de Chisleu, en el año veinte, estando yo en Susán, capital del reino,

The words of Nehemiah the son of Hachaliah. And it came to pass in the month Chisleu, in the twentieth year, as I was in Shushan the palace,

The words of Nehemiah the son of Hacaliah. Now in the month Chislev, in the twentieth year, as I was in Susa the palace,

Que Hanani, l’un de mes frères, et quelques gens, arrivèrent de Juda ; et je m’enquis d’eux touchant les Juifs réchappés, qui étaient de reste de la captivité, et touchant Jérusalem.

Que vino Hanani, uno de mis hermanos, él y ciertos varones de Judá, y preguntéles por los Judíos que habían escapado, que habían quedado de la cautividad, y por Jerusalem.

That Hanani, one of my brethren, came, he and certain men of Judah; and I asked them concerning the Jews that had escaped, which were left of the captivity, and concerning Jerusalem.

Et ils me dirent : Ceux qui sont restés de la captivité, sont là dans la province, dans une grande misère et en opprobre ; et la muraille de Jérusalem demeure renversée, et ses portes brûlées par feu.

Y dijéronme: El residuo, los que quedaron de la cautividad allí en la provincia, están en gran mal y afrenta, y el muro de Jerusalem derribado, y sus puertas quemadas á fuego.

And they said unto me, The remnant that are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach: the wall of Jerusalem also is broken down, and the gates thereof are burned with fire.

They said to me, “The remnant who are left of the captivity there in the province are in great affliction and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem is also broken down, and its gates are burned with fire.”

Or il arriva que dès que j’eus entendu ces paroles, je m’assis, je pleurai, je menai deuil quelques jours, je jeûnai, et je fis ma prière devant le Dieu des cieux ;

Y fué que, como yo oí estas palabras, sentéme y lloré, y enlutéme por algunos días, y ayuné y oré delante del Dios de los cielos.

And it came to pass, when I heard these words, that I sat down and wept, and mourned certain days, and fasted, and prayed before the God of heaven,

Et je dis : Je te prie, ô Eternel ! Dieu des cieux, qui es le Fort, le Grand et le Terrible, qui gardes l’alliance et la gratuité à ceux qui t’aiment et qui observent tes commandements !

Y dije: Ruégote, oh Jehová, Dios de los cielos, fuerte, grande, y terrible, que guarda el pacto y la misericordia á los que le aman y guardan sus mandamientos;

And said, I beseech thee, O LORD God of heaven, the great and terrible God, that keepeth covenant and mercy for them that love him and observe his commandments:

and said, “I beg you, LORD, the God of heaven, the great and awesome God who keeps covenant and loving kindness with those who love him and keep his commandments,

Je te prie, que ton oreille soit attentive, et que tes yeux soient ouverts pour entendre la prière de ton serviteur, laquelle je te présente en ce temps- ci, jour et nuit, pour les enfants d’Israël tes serviteurs, en faisant confession des péchés des enfants d’Israël, lesquels nous avons commis contre toi ; même moi et la maison de mon père, nous avons péché.

Esté ahora atento tu oído, y tus ojos abiertos, para oir la oración de tu siervo, que yo hago ahora delante de ti día y noche, por los hijos de Israel tus siervos; y confieso los pecados de los hijos de Israel que hemos contra ti cometido; sí, yo y la casa de mi padre hemos pecado.

Let thine ear now be attentive, and thine eyes open, that thou mayest hear the prayer of thy servant, which I pray before thee now, day and night, for the children of Israel thy servants, and confess the sins of the children of Israel, which we have sinned against thee: both I and my father’s house have sinned.

let your ear now be attentive and your eyes open, that you may listen to the prayer of your servant which I pray before you at this time, day and night, for the children of Israel your servants, while I confess the sins of the children of Israel which we have sinned against you. Yes, I and my father’s house have sinned.

Certainement nous sommes coupables devant toi, et nous n’avons point gardé les commandements, ni les ordonnances, ni les jugements que tu as prescrits à Moïse, ton serviteur.

En extremo nos hemos corrompido contra ti, y no hemos guardado los mandamientos, y estatutos y juicios, que mandaste á Moisés tu siervo.

We have dealt very corruptly against thee, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which thou commandedst thy servant Moses.

We have dealt very corruptly against you, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the ordinances, which you commanded your servant Moses.

Mais je te prie, souviens-toi de la parole dont tu donnas charge à Moïse, ton serviteur, en disant : Vous commettrez des crimes, et je vous disperserai parmi les peuples ;

Acuérdate ahora de la palabra que ordenaste á Moisés tu siervo, diciendo: Vosotros prevaricaréis, y yo os esparciré por los pueblos:

Remember, I beseech thee, the word that thou commandedst thy servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress, I will scatter you abroad among the nations:

“Remember, I beg you, the word that you commanded your servant Moses, saying, ‘If you trespass, I will scatter you among the peoples;

Puis vous retournerez à moi, et vous garderez mes commandements, et les ferez ; et s’il y en a d’entre vous qui aient été chassés jusqu’à un bout des cieux, je vous rassemblerai de là, et je vous ramènerai au lieu que j’aurai choisi pour y faire habiter mon Nom.

Mas os volveréis á mí, y guardaréis mis mandamientos, y los pondréis por obra. Si fuere vuestro lanzamiento hasta el cabo de los cielos, de allí os juntaré; y traerlos he al lugar que escogí para hacer habitar allí mi nombre.

But if ye turn unto me, and keep my commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set my name there.

but if you return to me, and keep my commandments and do them, though your outcasts were in the uttermost part of the heavens, yet I will gather them from there, and will bring them to the place that I have chosen, to cause my name to dwell there.’

Or ceux-ci sont tes serviteurs et ton peuple, que tu as racheté par ta grande puissance et par ta main forte.

Ellos pues son tus siervos y tu pueblo, los cuales redimiste con tu gran fortaleza, y con tu mano fuerte.

Now these are thy servants and thy people, whom thou hast redeemed by thy great power, and by thy strong hand.

“Now these are your servants and your people, whom you have redeemed by your great power and by your strong hand.

Je te prie donc, Seigneur ! que ton oreille soit maintenant attentive à la prière de ton serviteur, et à la supplication de tes serviteurs, qui prennent plaisir à craindre ton Nom ; et fais, je te prie, prospérer aujourd’hui ton serviteur, et fais qu’il trouve grâce envers cet homme-ci ; car j’étais échanson du Roi.

Ruégote, oh Jehová, esté ahora atento tu oído á la oración de tu siervo, y á la oración de tus siervos, quienes desean temer tu nombre: y ahora concede hoy próspero suceso á tu siervo, y dale gracia delante de aquel varón. Porque yo servía de copero al rey.

O Lord, I beseech thee, let now thine ear be attentive to the prayer of thy servant, and to the prayer of thy servants, who desire to fear thy name: and prosper, I pray thee, thy servant this day, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man. For I was the king’s cupbearer.

Lord, I beg you, let your ear be attentive now to the prayer of your servant, and to the prayer of your servants who delight to fear your name; and please prosper your servant today, and grant him mercy in the sight of this man.” Now I was cup bearer to the king.
