1Éliaschib, le souverain sacrificateur, se leva avec ses frères, les sacrificateurs, et ils bâtirent la porte des brebis. Ils la consacrèrent et en posèrent les battants; ils la consacrèrent, depuis la tour de Méa jusqu’à la tour de Hananeel.
2A côté d’Éliaschib bâtirent les hommes de Jéricho; à côté de lui bâtit aussi Zaccur, fils d’Imri.
3Les fils de Senaa bâtirent la porte des poissons. Ils la couvrirent, et en posèrent les battants, les verrous et les barres.
4A côté d’eux travailla aux réparations Merémoth, fils d’Urie, fils d’Hakkots; à côté d’eux travailla Meschullam, fils de Bérékia, fils de Meschézabeel; à côté d’eux travailla Tsadok, fils de Baana;
5à côté d’eux travaillèrent les Tekoïtes, dont les principaux ne se soumirent pas au service de leur seigneur.
6Jojada, fils de Paséach, et Meschullam, fils de Besodia, réparèrent la vieille porte. Ils la couvrirent, et en posèrent les battants, les verrous et les barres.
7A côté d’eux travaillèrent Melatia, le Gabaonite, Jadon, le Méronothite, et les hommes de Gabaon et de Mitspa, ressortissant au siège du gouverneur de ce côté du fleuve;
8à côté d’eux travailla Uzziel, fils de Harhaja, d’entre les orfèvres, et à côté de lui travailla Hanania, d’entre les parfumeurs. Ils laissèrent Jérusalem jusqu’à la muraille large.
9A côté d’eux travailla aux réparations Rephaja, fils de Hur, chef de la moitié du district de Jérusalem.
10A côté d’eux travailla vis-à-vis de sa maison Jedaja, fils de Harumaph, et à côté de lui travailla Hattusch, fils de Haschabnia.
11Une autre portion de la muraille et la tour des fours furent réparées par Malkija, fils de Harim, et par Haschub, fils de Pachath-Moab.
12A côté d’eux travailla, avec ses filles, Schallum, fils d’Hallochesch, chef de la moitié du district de Jérusalem.
13Hanun et les habitants de Zanoach réparèrent la porte de la vallée. Ils la bâtirent, et en posèrent les battants, les verrous et les barres. Ils firent de plus mille coudées de mur jusqu’à la porte du fumier.
14Malkija, fils de Récab, chef du district de Beth-Hakkérem, répara la porte du fumier. Il la bâtit, et en posa les battants, les verrous et les barres.
15Schallum, fils de Col-Hozé, chef du district de Mitspa, répara la porte de la source. Il la bâtit, la couvrit, et en posa les battants, les verrous et les barres. Il fit de plus le mur de l’étang de Siloé, près du jardin du roi, jusqu’aux degrés qui descendent de la cité de David.
16Après lui Néhémie, fils d’Azbuk, chef de la moitié du district de Beth-Tsur, travailla aux réparations jusque vis-à-vis des sépulcres de David, jusqu’à l’étang qui avait été construit, et jusqu’à la maison des héros.
17Après lui travaillèrent les Lévites, Rehum, fils de Bani, et à côté de lui travailla pour son district Haschabia, chef de la moitié du district de Keïla.
18Après lui travaillèrent leurs frères, Bavvaï, fils de Hénadad, chef de la moitié du district de Keïla;
19et à côté de lui Ézer, fils de Josué, chef de Mitspa, répara une autre portion de la muraille, vis-à-vis de la montée de l’arsenal, à l’angle.
20Après lui Baruc, fils de Zabbaï, répara avec ardeur une autre portion, depuis l’angle jusqu’à la porte de la maison d’Éliaschib, le souverain sacrificateur.
21Après lui Merémoth, fils d’Urie, fils d’Hakkots, répara une autre portion depuis la porte de la maison d’Éliaschib jusqu’à l’extrémité de la maison d’Éliaschib.
22Après lui travaillèrent les sacrificateurs des environs de Jérusalem.
23Après eux Benjamin et Haschub travaillèrent vis-à-vis de leur maison. Après eux Azaria, fils de Maaséja, fils d’Anania, travailla à côté de sa maison.
24Après lui Binnuï, fils de Hénadad, répara une autre portion, depuis la maison d’Azaria jusqu’à l’angle et jusqu’au coin.
25Palal, fils d’Uzaï, travailla vis-à-vis de l’angle et de la tour supérieure qui fait saillie en avant de la maison du roi près de la cour de la prison. Après lui travailla Pedaja, fils de Pareosch.
26Les Néthiniens demeurant sur la colline travaillèrent jusque vis-à-vis de la porte des eaux, à l’orient, et de la tour en saillie.
27Après eux les Tekoïtes réparèrent une autre portion, vis-à-vis de la grande tour en saillie jusqu’au mur de la colline.
28Au-dessus de la porte des chevaux, les sacrificateurs travaillèrent chacun devant sa maison.
29Après eux Tsadok, fils d’Immer, travailla devant sa maison. Après lui travailla Schemaeja, fils de Schecania, gardien de la porte de l’orient.
30Après eux Hanania, fils de Schélémia, et Hanun, le sixième fils de Tsalaph, réparèrent une autre portion de la muraille. Après eux Meschullam, fils de Bérékia, travailla vis-à-vis de sa chambre.
31Après lui Malkija, d’entre les orfèvres, travailla jusqu’aux maisons des Néthiniens et des marchands, vis-à-vis de la porte de Miphkad, et jusqu’à la chambre haute du coin.
32Les orfèvres et les marchands travaillèrent entre la chambre haute du coin et la porte des brebis.

2Y junto á ella edificaron los varones de Jericó: y luego edificó Zachûr hijo de Imri.
3Y los hijos de Senaa edificaron la puerta del Pescado: ellos la enmaderaron, y levantaron sus puertas, con sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos.
4Y junto á ellos restauró Meremoth hijo de Urías, hijo de Cos: y al lado de ellos, restauró Mesullam hijo de Berechîas, hijo de Mesezabeel. Junto á ellos restauró Sadoc hijo de Baana.
5E inmediato á ellos restauraron los Tecoitas; mas sus grandes no prestaron su cerviz á la obra de su Señor.
6Y la puerta Vieja restauraron Joiada hijo de Pasea, y Mesullam hijo de Besodías: ellos la enmaderaron, y levantaron sus puertas, con sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos.
7Junto á ellos restauró Melatías Gabaonita, y Jadón Meronothita, varones de Gabaón y de Mizpa, por la silla del gobernador de la otra parte del río.
8Y junto á ellos restauró Uzziel hijo de Harhaía, de los plateros; junto al cual restauró también Hananías, hijo de un perfumero. Así dejaron reparado á Jerusalem hasta el muro ancho.
9Junto á ellos restauró también Repaías hijo de Hur, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Jerusalem.
10Asimismo restauró junto á ellos, y frente á su casa, Jedaías hijo de Harumaph; y junto á él restauró Hattus hijo de Hasbanías.
11Malchîas hijo de Harim y Hasub hijo de Pahath-moab, restauraron la otra medida, y la torre de los Hornos.
12Junto á ellos restauró Sallum hijo de Lohes, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Jerusalem, él con sus hijas.
13La puerta del Valle la restauró Hanún con los moradores de Zanoa: ellos la reedificaron, y levantaron sus puertas, con sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos, y mil codos en el muro hasta la puerta del Muladar.
14Y reedificó la puerta del Muladar, Malchîas hijo de Rechâb, príncipe de la provincia de Beth-haccerem: él la reedificó, y levantó sus puertas, sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos.
15Y Sallum hijo de Chôl-hoce, príncipe de la región de Mizpa, restauró la puerta de la Fuente: él la reedificó, y la enmaderó, y levantó sus puertas, sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos, y el muro del estanque de Selah hacia la huerta del rey, y hasta las gradas que descienden de la ciudad de David.
16Después de él restauró Nehemías hijo de Azbuc, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Beth-sur, hasta delante de los sepulcros de David, y hasta el estanque labrado, y hasta la casa de los Valientes.
17Tras él restauraron los Levitas, Rehum hijo de Bani; junto á él restauró Asabías, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Ceila en su región.
18Después de él restauraron sus hermanos, Bavvai hijo de Henadad, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Ceila.
19Y junto á él restauró Ezer hijo de Jesuá, príncipe de Mizpa, la otra medida frente á la subida de la armería de la esquina.
20Después de él se enfervorizó á restaurar Baruch hijo de Zachâi la otra medida, desde la esquina hasta la puerta de la casa de Eliasib gran sacerdote.
21Tras él restauró Meremoth hijo de Urías hijo de Cos la otra medida, desde la entrada de la casa de Eliasib, hasta el cabo de la casa de Eliasib.
22Después de él restauraron los sacerdotes, los varones de la campiña.
23Después de ellos restauraron Benjamín y Hasub, frente á su casa: y después de estos restauró Azarías, hijo de Maasías hijo de Ananías, cerca de su casa.
24Después de él restauró Binnui hijo de Henadad la otra medida, desde la casa de Azarías hasta la revuelta, y hasta la esquina.
25Paal hijo de Uzai, enfrente de la esquina y la torre alta que sale de la casa del rey, que está en el patio de la cárcel. Después de él, Pedaía hijo de Pharos.

30Tras él restauró Hananías hijo de Selemías, y Anún hijo sexto de Salaph, la otra medida. Después de él restauró Mesullam, hijo de Berechîas, enfrente de su cámara.
31Después de él restauró Malchîas hijo del platero, hasta la casa de los Nethineos y de los tratantes, enfrente de la puerta del Juicio, y hasta la sala de la esquina.
32Y entre la sala de la esquina hasta la puerta de las Ovejas, restauraron los plateros y los tratantes.

1Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel.
2And next unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to them builded Zaccur the son of Imri.
3But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
4And next unto them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next unto them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next unto them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.
5And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their Lord.
6Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
7And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river.

12And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
13The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.
14But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Beth-haccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
15But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Col-hozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king’s garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.
16After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Beth-zur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty.
17After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.
18After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.
19And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall.

30After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.
31After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith’s son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner.
32And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.

25Palal the son of Uzai made repairs opposite the turning of the wall, and the tower that stands out from the upper house of the king, which is by the court of the guard. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh made repairs.
26(Now the temple servants lived in Ophel, to the place opposite the water gate toward the east, and the tower that stands out.)
27After him the Tekoites repaired another portion, opposite the great tower that stands out, and to the wall of Ophel.
