1Eliascib, sommo sacerdote, si levò coi suoi fratelli sacerdoti e costruirono la porta delle Pecore; la consacrarono e vi misero le sue imposte; continuarono a costruire fino alla torre di Mea, che consacrarono, e fino alla Torre di Hananeel.
2Allato a Eliascib lavorarono gli uomini di Gerico, e allato a loro lavorò Zaccur, figliuolo d’Imri.
3I figliuoli di Senaa costruirono la porta de’ Pesci, ne fecero l’intelaiatura, e vi posero le imposte, le serrature e le sbarre.
4Allato a loro lavoro alle riparazioni Meremoth, figliuolo d’Uria, figliuolo di Hakkots; allato a loro lavoro alle riparazioni Meshullam, figliuolo di Berekia, figliuolo di Mescezabeel; allato a loro lavorò alle riparazioni Tsadok, figliuolo di Baana;
5allato a loro lavorarono alle riparazioni i Tekoiti; ma i principali fra loro non piegarono i loro colli a lavorare all’opera del loro signore.
6Joiada, figliuolo di Paseah, e Meshullam, figliuolo di Besodeia, restaurarono la porta Vecchia; ne fecero l’intelaiatura, e vi posero le imposte, le serrature e le sbarre.
7Allato a loro lavorarono alle riparazioni Melatia, il Gabaonita, Jadon, il Meronothita, e gli uomini di Gabaon e di Mitspa, che dipendevano dalla sede del governatore d’oltre il fiume;
8allato a loro lavorò alle riparazioni Uzziel, figliuolo di Harhaia, di tra gli orefici, e allato a lui lavoro Hanania, di tra i profumieri. Essi lasciarono stare Gerusalemme com’era, fino al muro largo.
9Allato a loro lavorò alle riparazioni Refaia, figliuolo di Hur, capo della metà del distretto di Gerusalemme.
10Allato a loro lavoro alle riparazioni dirimpetto alla sua casa, Jedaia, figliuolo di Harumaf, e allato a lui lavoro Hattush figliuolo di Hashabneia.
11Malkia, figliuolo di Harim, e Hasshub, figliuolo di Pahath-Moab, restaurarono un’altra parte delle mura e la torre de’ Forni.
12Allato a loro lavorò alle riparazioni, con le sue figliuole, Shallum, figliuolo di Hallohesh, capo della metà del distretto di Gerusalemme.
13Hanun e gli abitanti di Zanoah restaurarono la porta della Valle; la costruirono, vi posero le imposte, le serrature e le sbarre. Fecero inoltre mille cubiti di muro fino alla porta del Letame.
14Malkia, figliuolo di Recab, capo del distretto di Beth-Hakkerem restaurò la porta del Letame; la costruì, vi pose le imposte, le serrature, le sbarre.
15Shallum, figliuolo di Col-Hozeh, capo del distretto di Mitspa, restaurò la porta della Sorgente; la costruì, la coperse, vi pose le imposte, le serrature e le sbarre. Fece inoltre il muro del serbatoio di Scelah, presso il giardino del re fino alla scalinata per cui si scende dalla città di Davide.
16Dopo di lui Neemia, figliuolo di Azbuk, capo della metà del distretto di Beth-Zur, lavorò alle riparazioni fin dirimpetto ai sepolcri di Davide, fino al serbatoio ch’era stato costruito, e fino alla casa de’ prodi.
17Dopo di lui lavorarono alle riparazioni i Leviti, sotto Rehum, figliuolo di Bani; e allato a lui lavorò per il suo distretto Hashabia, capo della metà del distretto di Keila.
18Dopo di lui lavorarono alle riparazioni i loro fratelli, sotto Bavvai, figliuolo di Henadad, capo della metà del distretto di Keila;
19e allato a lui Ezer, figliuolo di Jeshua, capo di Mitspa, restaurò un’altra parte delle mura, dirimpetto alla salita dell’arsenale, all’angolo.
20Dopo di lui Baruc, figliuolo di Zaccai, ne restaurò con ardore un’altra parte, dall’angolo fino alla porta della casa di Eliascib, il sommo sacerdote.
21Dopo di lui Meremoth, figliuolo di Uria, figliuolo di Hakkoz, ne restaurò un’altra parte, dalla porta della casa di Eliascib fino all’estremità della casa di Eliascib.
22Dopo di lui lavorarono i sacerdoti che abitavano il contado.
23Dopo di loro Beniamino e Hashub lavorarono dirimpetto alla loro casa. Dopo di loro Azaria, figliuolo di Maaseia, figliuolo di Anania, lavorò presso la sua casa.
24Dopo di lui Binnui, figliuolo di Henadad, restaurò un’altra parte delle mura, dalla casa di Azaria fino allo svolto, e fino all’angolo.
25Palal, figliuolo d’Uzai, lavorò dirimpetto allo svolto e alla torre sporgente dalla casa superiore del re, che da sul cortile della prigione. Dopo di lui lavorò Pedaia, figliuolo di Parosh.
26I Nethinei che abitavano sulla collina, lavorarono, fino dirimpetto alla porta delle Acque, verso oriente, e dirimpetto alla torre sporgente.
27Dopo di loro i Tekoiti ne restaurarono un’altra parte, dirimpetto alla gran torre sporgente e fino al muro della collina.
28I sacerdoti lavorarono alle riparazioni al disopra della porta de’ Cavalli, ciascuno dirimpetto alla propria casa.
29Dopo di loro Tsadok, figliuolo d’Immer, lavorò dirimpetto alla sua casa. Dopo di lui lavorò Scemaia figliuolo di Scecania, guardiano della porta orientale.
30Dopo di lui Hanania, figliuolo di Scelemia, e Hanun, sesto figliuolo di Tsalaf, restaurarono un’altra parte delle mura. Dopo di loro Meshullam, figliuolo di Berekia, lavorò difaccia alla sua camera.
31Dopo di lui Malkja, uno degli orefici, lavorò fino alle case de’ Nethinei e de’ mercanti, dirimpetto alla porta di Hammifkad e fino alla salita dell’angolo.
32E gli orefici e i mercanti lavorarono alle riparazioni fra la salita dell’angolo e la porta delle Pecore.

1Y LEVANTÓSE Eliasib el gran sacerdote con sus hermanos los sacerdotes, y edificaron la puerta de las Ovejas. Ellos aparejaron y levantaron sus puertas hasta la torre de Meah, aparejáronla hasta la torre de Hananeel.
2Y junto á ella edificaron los varones de Jericó: y luego edificó Zachûr hijo de Imri.
3Y los hijos de Senaa edificaron la puerta del Pescado: ellos la enmaderaron, y levantaron sus puertas, con sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos.
4Y junto á ellos restauró Meremoth hijo de Urías, hijo de Cos: y al lado de ellos, restauró Mesullam hijo de Berechîas, hijo de Mesezabeel. Junto á ellos restauró Sadoc hijo de Baana.
5E inmediato á ellos restauraron los Tecoitas; mas sus grandes no prestaron su cerviz á la obra de su Señor.
6Y la puerta Vieja restauraron Joiada hijo de Pasea, y Mesullam hijo de Besodías: ellos la enmaderaron, y levantaron sus puertas, con sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos.
7Junto á ellos restauró Melatías Gabaonita, y Jadón Meronothita, varones de Gabaón y de Mizpa, por la silla del gobernador de la otra parte del río.
8Y junto á ellos restauró Uzziel hijo de Harhaía, de los plateros; junto al cual restauró también Hananías, hijo de un perfumero. Así dejaron reparado á Jerusalem hasta el muro ancho.
9Junto á ellos restauró también Repaías hijo de Hur, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Jerusalem.
10Asimismo restauró junto á ellos, y frente á su casa, Jedaías hijo de Harumaph; y junto á él restauró Hattus hijo de Hasbanías.
11Malchîas hijo de Harim y Hasub hijo de Pahath-moab, restauraron la otra medida, y la torre de los Hornos.
12Junto á ellos restauró Sallum hijo de Lohes, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Jerusalem, él con sus hijas.
13La puerta del Valle la restauró Hanún con los moradores de Zanoa: ellos la reedificaron, y levantaron sus puertas, con sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos, y mil codos en el muro hasta la puerta del Muladar.
14Y reedificó la puerta del Muladar, Malchîas hijo de Rechâb, príncipe de la provincia de Beth-haccerem: él la reedificó, y levantó sus puertas, sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos.
15Y Sallum hijo de Chôl-hoce, príncipe de la región de Mizpa, restauró la puerta de la Fuente: él la reedificó, y la enmaderó, y levantó sus puertas, sus cerraduras y sus cerrojos, y el muro del estanque de Selah hacia la huerta del rey, y hasta las gradas que descienden de la ciudad de David.
16Después de él restauró Nehemías hijo de Azbuc, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Beth-sur, hasta delante de los sepulcros de David, y hasta el estanque labrado, y hasta la casa de los Valientes.
17Tras él restauraron los Levitas, Rehum hijo de Bani; junto á él restauró Asabías, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Ceila en su región.
18Después de él restauraron sus hermanos, Bavvai hijo de Henadad, príncipe de la mitad de la región de Ceila.
19Y junto á él restauró Ezer hijo de Jesuá, príncipe de Mizpa, la otra medida frente á la subida de la armería de la esquina.
20Después de él se enfervorizó á restaurar Baruch hijo de Zachâi la otra medida, desde la esquina hasta la puerta de la casa de Eliasib gran sacerdote.
21Tras él restauró Meremoth hijo de Urías hijo de Cos la otra medida, desde la entrada de la casa de Eliasib, hasta el cabo de la casa de Eliasib.
22Después de él restauraron los sacerdotes, los varones de la campiña.
23Después de ellos restauraron Benjamín y Hasub, frente á su casa: y después de estos restauró Azarías, hijo de Maasías hijo de Ananías, cerca de su casa.
24Después de él restauró Binnui hijo de Henadad la otra medida, desde la casa de Azarías hasta la revuelta, y hasta la esquina.
25Paal hijo de Uzai, enfrente de la esquina y la torre alta que sale de la casa del rey, que está en el patio de la cárcel. Después de él, Pedaía hijo de Pharos.
26(Y los Nethineos estuvieron en Ophel hasta enfrente de la puerta de las Aguas al oriente, y la torre que sobresalía.)
27Después de él restauraron los Tecoitas la otra medida, enfrente de la grande torre que sobresale, hasta el muro de Ophel.
28Desde la puerta de los Caballos restauraron los sacerdotes, cada uno enfrente de su casa.
29Después de ellos restauró Sadoc hijo de Immer, enfrente de su casa: y después de él restauró Semaías hijo de Sechânías, guarda de la puerta oriental.
30Tras él restauró Hananías hijo de Selemías, y Anún hijo sexto de Salaph, la otra medida. Después de él restauró Mesullam, hijo de Berechîas, enfrente de su cámara.
31Después de él restauró Malchîas hijo del platero, hasta la casa de los Nethineos y de los tratantes, enfrente de la puerta del Juicio, y hasta la sala de la esquina.
32Y entre la sala de la esquina hasta la puerta de las Ovejas, restauraron los plateros y los tratantes.

1Then Eliashib the high priest rose up with his brethren the priests, and they builded the sheep gate; they sanctified it, and set up the doors of it; even unto the tower of Meah they sanctified it, unto the tower of Hananeel.
2And next unto him builded the men of Jericho. And next to them builded Zaccur the son of Imri.
3But the fish gate did the sons of Hassenaah build, who also laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
4And next unto them repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah, the son of Koz. And next unto them repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah, the son of Meshezabeel. And next unto them repaired Zadok the son of Baana.
5And next unto them the Tekoites repaired; but their nobles put not their necks to the work of their Lord.
6Moreover the old gate repaired Jehoiada the son of Paseah, and Meshullam the son of Besodeiah; they laid the beams thereof, and set up the doors thereof, and the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
7And next unto them repaired Melatiah the Gibeonite, and Jadon the Meronothite, the men of Gibeon, and of Mizpah, unto the throne of the governor on this side the river.
8Next unto him repaired Uzziel the son of Harhaiah, of the goldsmiths. Next unto him also repaired Hananiah the son of one of the apothecaries, and they fortified Jerusalem unto the broad wall.
9And next unto them repaired Rephaiah the son of Hur, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem.
10And next unto them repaired Jedaiah the son of Harumaph, even over against his house. And next unto him repaired Hattush the son of Hashabniah.
11Malchijah the son of Harim, and Hashub the son of Pahath-moab, repaired the other piece, and the tower of the furnaces.
12And next unto him repaired Shallum the son of Halohesh, the ruler of the half part of Jerusalem, he and his daughters.
13The valley gate repaired Hanun, and the inhabitants of Zanoah; they built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and a thousand cubits on the wall unto the dung gate.
14But the dung gate repaired Malchiah the son of Rechab, the ruler of part of Beth-haccerem; he built it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof.
15But the gate of the fountain repaired Shallun the son of Col-hozeh, the ruler of part of Mizpah; he built it, and covered it, and set up the doors thereof, the locks thereof, and the bars thereof, and the wall of the pool of Siloah by the king’s garden, and unto the stairs that go down from the city of David.
16After him repaired Nehemiah the son of Azbuk, the ruler of the half part of Beth-zur, unto the place over against the sepulchres of David, and to the pool that was made, and unto the house of the mighty.
17After him repaired the Levites, Rehum the son of Bani. Next unto him repaired Hashabiah, the ruler of the half part of Keilah, in his part.
18After him repaired their brethren, Bavai the son of Henadad, the ruler of the half part of Keilah.
19And next to him repaired Ezer the son of Jeshua, the ruler of Mizpah, another piece over against the going up to the armoury at the turning of the wall.
20After him Baruch the son of Zabbai earnestly repaired the other piece, from the turning of the wall unto the door of the house of Eliashib the high priest.
21After him repaired Meremoth the son of Urijah the son of Koz another piece, from the door of the house of Eliashib even to the end of the house of Eliashib.
22And after him repaired the priests, the men of the plain.

28From above the horse gate repaired the priests, every one over against his house.
29After them repaired Zadok the son of Immer over against his house. After him repaired also Shemaiah the son of Shechaniah, the keeper of the east gate.
30After him repaired Hananiah the son of Shelemiah, and Hanun the sixth son of Zalaph, another piece. After him repaired Meshullam the son of Berechiah over against his chamber.
31After him repaired Malchiah the goldsmith’s son unto the place of the Nethinims, and of the merchants, over against the gate Miphkad, and to the going up of the corner.
32And between the going up of the corner unto the sheep gate repaired the goldsmiths and the merchants.

17After him, the Levites—Rehum the son of Bani made repairs. Next to him, Hashabiah, the ruler of half the district of Keilah, made repairs for his district.

24After him, Binnui the son of Henadad repaired another portion, from the house of Azariah to the turning of the wall, and to the corner.
25Palal the son of Uzai made repairs opposite the turning of the wall, and the tower that stands out from the upper house of the king, which is by the court of the guard. After him Pedaiah the son of Parosh made repairs.
26(Now the temple servants lived in Ophel, to the place opposite the water gate toward the east, and the tower that stands out.)
27After him the Tekoites repaired another portion, opposite the great tower that stands out, and to the wall of Ophel.
28Above the horse gate, the priests made repairs, everyone across from his own house.
