Nehemías 5

Etliche aber sprachen: Wir haben Geld entlehnt auf unsere Äcker und unsere Weinberge, daß wir dem König die Steuern zahlen können.

Y había quienes decían: Hemos tomado prestado dinero para el tributo del rey, sobre nuestras tierras y viñas.

There were also that said, We have borrowed money for the king’s tribute, and that upon our lands and vineyards.

There were also some who said, “We have borrowed money for the king’s tribute using our fields and our vineyards as collateral.
