Nehemías 6

Da schickte ich Boten zu ihnen und ließ ihnen antworten: »Ich bin mit einem bedeutenden Werke beschäftigt und kann deshalb nicht hinabkommen: das Werk würde sofort stille stehen, wenn ich es unterbräche und zu euch hinunterkäme.«

Y enviéles mensajeros, diciendo: Yo hago una grande obra, y no puedo ir; porque cesaría la obra, dejándola yo para ir á vosotros.

And I sent messengers unto them, saying, I am doing a great work, so that I cannot come down: why should the work cease, whilst I leave it, and come down to you?
