Nehemías 8

Et ils lisaient distinctement dans le livre de la loi de Dieu, et ils en donnaient le sens et le faisaient comprendre lorsqu’on lisait.

Y leían en el libro de la ley de Dios claramente, y ponían el sentido, de modo que entendiesen la lectura.

So they read in the book in the law of God distinctly, and gave the sense, and caused them to understand the reading.
