Nehemías 8

Et tout le peuple se rassembla comme un seul homme sur la place qui est devant la porte des Eaux, et ils dirent à Esdras, le scribe, d'apporter le livre de la loi de Moïse, que l'Eternel avait prescrite à Israël.

Y JUNTÓSE todo el pueblo como un solo hombre en la plaza que está delante de la puerta de las Aguas, y dijeron á Esdras el escriba, que trajese el libro de la ley de Moisés, la cual mandó Jehová á Israel.

Et Esdras le scribe se tenait sur une estrade de bois, faite pour la circonstance, et à côté de lui, à sa droite, se tenaient Matthithia et Schéma et Anaïa et Urie et Hilkija et Maaséia, et à sa gauche Pédaïa et Misaël et Malkija et Hasum et Hasbaddana et Zacharie-Mésullam.

Y Esdras el escriba estaba sobre un púlpito de madera, que habían hecho para ello; y junto á él estaban Mathithías, y Sema, y Anías, y Urías, é Hilcías, y Maasías, á su mano derecha; y á su mano izquierda, Pedaía, Misael, y Malchîas, y Hasum, y Hasbedana, Zachârías, y Mesullam.

Also Jeshua, and Bani, and Sherebiah, Jamin, Akkub, Shabbethai, Hodijah, Maaseiah, Kelita, Azariah, Jozabad, Hanan, Pelaiah, and the Levites, caused the people to understand the law: and the people stood in their place.

Et ils lurent exactement dans le livre, dans la loi de Dieu, l'exposant et en donnant l'intelligence, et le peuple comprit ce qu'on lui avait lu.

Et Néhémie, qui était le gouverneur, et le sacrificateur Esdras, le scribe, et les Lévites, qui expliquaient la loi au peuple, dirent à tout le peuple : Ce jour est consacré à l'Eternel, votre Dieu ; ne soyez point dans le deuil et ne pleurez point ! Car tout le peuple pleurait en entendant les paroles de la loi.

And Nehemiah, which is the Tirshatha, and Ezra the priest the scribe, and the Levites that taught the people, said unto all the people, This day is holy unto the LORD your God; mourn not, nor weep. For all the people wept, when they heard the words of the law.

Díjoles luego: Id, comed grosuras, y bebed vino dulce, y enviad porciones á los que no tienen prevenido; porque día santo es á nuestro Señor: y no os entristezcáis, porque el gozo de Jehová es vuestra fortaleza.

Then he said unto them, Go your way, eat the fat, and drink the sweet, and send portions unto them for whom nothing is prepared: for this day is holy unto our Lord: neither be ye sorry; for the joy of the LORD is your strength.

Then he said to them, “Go your way. Eat the fat, drink the sweet, and send portions to him for whom nothing is prepared, for today is holy to our Lord. Don’t be grieved, for the joy of the LORD is your strength.”

Et les Lévites calmaient tout le peuple, en disant : Faites silence, car ce jour est saint, et ne vous affligez point.

Los Levitas pues, hacían callar á todo el pueblo, diciendo: Callad, que es día santo, y no os entristezcáis.

So the Levites stilled all the people, saying, Hold your peace, for the day is holy; neither be ye grieved.

So the Levites calmed all the people, saying, “Hold your peace, for the day is holy. Don’t be grieved.”

Et tout le peuple alla manger et boire, et envoya des portions, et se livra à de grandes réjouissances, car ils avaient bien compris les paroles qu'on leur avait adressées.

Y todo el pueblo se fué á comer y á beber, y á enviar porciones, y á gozar de grande alegría, porque habían entendido las palabras que les habían enseñado.

Y el día siguiente se juntaron los príncipes de las familias de todo el pueblo, sacerdotes, y Levitas, á Esdras escriba, para entender las palabras de la ley.

And on the second day were gathered together the chief of the fathers of all the people, the priests, and the Levites, unto Ezra the scribe, even to understand the words of the law.

ils trouvèrent écrit dans la loi que l'Eternel avait donnée par Moïse, que les fils d'Israël devaient habiter sous des cabanes, pendant la fête, au septième mois,

et qu'ils devaient proclamer et faire publier dans toutes leurs villes et à Jérusalem ces paroles : Allez à la montagne, et apportez des rameaux d'olivier et des rameaux de l'arbre à huile, des rameaux de myrte, des rameaux de palmiers et des rameaux d'arbres touffus, pour faire des cabanes, selon qu'il est écrit.

Y que hiciesen saber, y pasar pregón por todas sus ciudades y por Jerusalem, diciendo: Salid al monte, y traed ramos de oliva, y ramos de pino, y ramos de arrayán, y ramos de palmas, y ramos de todo árbol espeso, para hacer cabañas como está escrito.

And that they should publish and proclaim in all their cities, and in Jerusalem, saying, Go forth unto the mount, and fetch olive branches, and pine branches, and myrtle branches, and palm branches, and branches of thick trees, to make booths, as it is written.

Et le peuple sortit, et ils apportèrent ces †rameaux et se firent des cabanes, chacun sur son toit, dans leurs cours et dans les parvis de la maison de Dieu, et sur la place de la porte des Eaux, et sur la place de la porte d'Ephraïm,

Salió pues el pueblo, y trajeron, é hiciéronse cabañas, cada uno sobre su terrado, y en sus patios, y en los patios de la casa de Dios, y en la plaza de la puerta de las Aguas, y en la plaza de la puerta de Ephraim.

So the people went forth, and brought them, and made themselves booths, every one upon the roof of his house, and in their courts, and in the courts of the house of God, and in the street of the water gate, and in the street of the gate of Ephraim.

So the people went out and brought them, and made themselves temporary shelters, everyone on the roof of his house, in their courts, in the courts of God’s house, in the wide place of the water gate, and in the wide place of Ephraim’s gate.

et toute l'assemblée, ceux qui étaient revenus de la captivité, firent des cabanes et habitèrent dans ces cabanes, car les fils d'Israël n'avaient point fait ainsi depuis les jours de Josué, fils de Nun, jusqu'à ce jour. Et il y eut une fort grande joie.

Y toda la congregación que volvió de la cautividad hicieron cabañas, y en cabañas habitaron; porque desde los días de Josué hijo de Nun hasta aquel día, no habían hecho así los hijos de Israel. Y hubo alegría muy grande.

And all the congregation of them that were come again out of the captivity made booths, and sat under the booths: for since the days of Jeshua the son of Nun unto that day had not the children of Israel done so. And there was very great gladness.

Et on lut dans le livre de la loi de Dieu chaque jour, depuis le premier jour jusqu'au dernier, et ils firent la fête sept jours, et au huitième jour il y eut une fête de clôture, comme il était ordonné.
