Pero ellos y nuestros antepasados, en su orgullo, endurecieron sus cuellos y no prestaron atención a tus mandamientos.

Mas ellos y nuestros padres hicieron soberbiamente, y endurecieron su cerviz, y no escucharon tus mandamientos,

But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their necks, and hearkened not to thy commandments,
