Mas eles e os nossos antepassados agiram desrespeitosamente, e foram teimosos e não escutaram os Teus mandamentos.

Mas ellos y nuestros padres hicieron soberbiamente, y endurecieron su cerviz, y no escucharon tus mandamientos,

But they and our fathers dealt proudly, and hardened their necks, and hearkened not to thy commandments,
