“Hazte dos trompetas de plata. Las harás de plata martillada. Las usarás para convocar a la congregación y para dar la orden de marcha a los campamentos.

Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.

Cuando toquen ambas trompetas, toda la congregación se reunirá contigo a la entrada de la Tienda del Encuentro.
Y cuando las tocaren, toda la congregación se juntará á ti á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio.
And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.

Si tocan una sola, los líderes, los jefes de los millares de Israel, se reunirán contigo.

Moisés le dijo a Hobab, hijo de Reuel el madianita, suegro de Moisés: “Nos dirigimos al lugar del que Yahvé dijo: ‘Se lo daré a ustedes’. Ven con nosotros y te trataremos bien, porque Yahvé ha prometido cosas buenas para Israel”.

And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses’ father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.

Él le respondió: “No iré, prefiero regresar a mi tierra y con mi familia”.

Moisés insistió: “No nos dejes, por favor; porque tú conoces los lugares donde debemos acampar en el desierto, y puedes ser nuestro guía.
Y él le dijo: Ruégote que no nos dejes; porque tú sabes nuestros alojamientos en el desierto, y nos serás en lugar de ojos.
And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes.
Moses said, “Don’t leave us, please; because you know how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and you can be our eyes.
Sucederá que, si vienes con nosotros, ten por seguro, que todo lo bueno que Yahvé haga con nosotros, nosotros lo compartiremos contigo”.
Y será, que si vinieres con nosotros, cuando tuviéremos el bien que Jehová nos ha de hacer, nosotros te haremos bien.
And it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.
It shall be, if you go with us—yes, it shall be—that whatever good the LORD does to us, we will do the same to you.”
Partieron del monte de Yahvé e hicieron un viaje de tres días. El arca del pacto de Yahvé iba delante de ellos durante los tres días de viaje, para buscarles un lugar donde descansar.
Así partieron del monte de Jehová camino de tres días; y el arca de la alianza de Jehová fué delante de ellos camino de tres días, buscándoles lugar de descanso.
And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days’ journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days’ journey, to search out a resting place for them.
