1Y Jehová habló a Moisés, diciendo:
2Hazte dos trompetas de plata; de obra de martillo las harás, las cuales te servirán para convocar a la congregación, y para poner en marcha los campamentos.
3Y cuando las tocaren, toda la congregación se reunirá ante ti a la puerta del tabernáculo de la congregación.
4Mas cuando tocareis sólo una, entonces se reunirán ante ti los príncipes, las cabezas de los millares de Israel.
5Y cuando tocareis alarma, entonces marcharán los que están acampados al oriente.
6Y cuando tocareis alarma la segunda vez, entonces marcharán los que están acampados al sur; alarma tocarán para sus partidas.
7Pero cuando hubiereis de reunir la congregación, tocaréis, mas no con toque de alarma.
8Y los hijos de Aarón, los sacerdotes, tocarán las trompetas; y las tendréis por estatuto perpetuo por vuestras generaciones.
9Y cuando saliereis a la guerra en vuestra tierra contra el enemigo que os atacare, tocaréis alarma con las trompetas; y seréis recordados delante de Jehová vuestro Dios, y seréis salvos de vuestros enemigos.
10Y en el día de vuestra alegría, y en vuestras solemnidades, y en los principios de vuestros meses, tocaréis las trompetas sobre vuestros holocaustos y sobre los sacrificios de vuestras ofrendas de paz, y os serán por memorial delante de vuestro Dios: Yo soy Jehová vuestro Dios.
11Y sucedió que en el año segundo, en el mes segundo, a los veinte días del mes, la nube se alzó del tabernáculo de la congregación.
12Y partieron los hijos de Israel del desierto de Sinaí según el orden de marcha; y la nube se detuvo en el desierto de Parán.
13Y partieron la primera vez de acuerdo al mandato de Jehová por mano de Moisés.
14Y la bandera del campamento de los hijos de Judá comenzó a marchar primero, por sus escuadrones; y Naasón, hijo de Aminadab, estaba sobre su ejército.
15Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Isacar, Natanael, hijo de Zuar.
16Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Zabulón, Eliab, hijo de Helón.
17Y el tabernáculo fue desarmado; y los hijos de Gersón y los hijos de Merari, partieron llevando el tabernáculo.
18Luego comenzó a marchar la bandera del campamento de Rubén por sus escuadrones; y Elisur, hijo de Sedeur, estaba sobre su ejército.
19Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Simeón, Selumiel, hijo de Zurisadai.
20Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Gad, Eliasaf, hijo de Dehuel.
21Luego comenzaron a marchar los coatitas llevando el santuario; y entre tanto que ellos llegaban, los otros acondicionaron el tabernáculo.
22Después comenzó a marchar la bandera del campamento de los hijos de Efraín por sus escuadrones: y Elisama, hijo de Amiud, era sobre su ejército.
23Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Manasés, Gamaliel, hijo de Pedasur.
24Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Benjamín, Abidán, hijo de Gedeón.
25Luego comenzó a marchar la bandera del campamento de los hijos de Dan por sus escuadrones, recogiendo todos los campamentos: y Ahiezer, hijo de Amisadai, estaba sobre su ejército.
26Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Aser, Pagiel, hijo de Ocrán.
27Y sobre el ejército de la tribu de los hijos de Neftalí, Ahira, hijo de Enán.
28Este era el orden de marcha de los hijos de Israel por sus ejércitos, cuando partían.
29Entonces dijo Moisés a Hobab, hijo de Reuel madianita, su suegro: Nosotros vamos hacia el lugar del cual Jehová ha dicho: Yo os lo daré. Ven con nosotros, y te haremos bien; porque Jehová ha hablado bien respecto a Israel.
30Y él le respondió: Yo no iré, sino que me marcharé a mi tierra y a mi parentela.
31Y él le dijo: Te ruego que no nos dejes; porque tú sabes dónde debemos acampar en el desierto, y nos serás en lugar de ojos.
32Y será, que si vinieres con nosotros, cuando tuviéremos el bien que Jehová nos ha de hacer, nosotros te haremos bien.
33Así partieron del monte de Jehová, camino de tres días; y el arca del pacto de Jehová fue delante de ellos camino de tres días, buscándoles lugar de descanso.
34Y la nube de Jehová iba sobre ellos de día, desde que partieron del campamento.
35Y sucedió que, al moverse el arca, Moisés decía: Levántate, Jehová, y sean disipados tus enemigos, y huyan de tu presencia los que te aborrecen.
36Y cuando ella asentaba, decía: Vuelve, oh Jehová, a los millares de millares de Israel.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2Make thee two trumpets of silver; of a whole piece shalt thou make them: that thou mayest use them for the calling of the assembly, and for the journeying of the camps.
3And when they shall blow with them, all the assembly shall assemble themselves to thee at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation.
4And if they blow but with one trumpet, then the princes, which are heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves unto thee.
5When ye blow an alarm, then the camps that lie on the east parts shall go forward.
6When ye blow an alarm the second time, then the camps that lie on the south side shall take their journey: they shall blow an alarm for their journeys.
7But when the congregation is to be gathered together, ye shall blow, but ye shall not sound an alarm.
8And the sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow with the trumpets; and they shall be to you for an ordinance for ever throughout your generations.
9And if ye go to war in your land against the enemy that oppresseth you, then ye shall blow an alarm with the trumpets; and ye shall be remembered before the LORD your God, and ye shall be saved from your enemies.
10Also in the day of your gladness, and in your solemn days, and in the beginnings of your months, ye shall blow with the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; that they may be to you for a memorial before your God: I am the LORD your God.
11And it came to pass on the twentieth day of the second month, in the second year, that the cloud was taken up from off the tabernacle of the testimony.
12And the children of Israel took their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud rested in the wilderness of Paran.
13And they first took their journey according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
14In the first place went the standard of the camp of the children of Judah according to their armies: and over his host was Nahshon the son of Amminadab.
15And over the host of the tribe of the children of Issachar was Nethaneel the son of Zuar.
16And over the host of the tribe of the children of Zebulun was Eliab the son of Helon.
17And the tabernacle was taken down; and the sons of Gershon and the sons of Merari set forward, bearing the tabernacle.
18And the standard of the camp of Reuben set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elizur the son of Shedeur.
19And over the host of the tribe of the children of Simeon was Shelumiel the son of Zurishaddai.
20And over the host of the tribe of the children of Gad was Eliasaph the son of Deuel.
21And the Kohathites set forward, bearing the sanctuary: and the other did set up the tabernacle against they came.
22And the standard of the camp of the children of Ephraim set forward according to their armies: and over his host was Elishama the son of Ammihud.
23And over the host of the tribe of the children of Manasseh was Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur.
24And over the host of the tribe of the children of Benjamin was Abidan the son of Gideoni.
25And the standard of the camp of the children of Dan set forward, which was the rereward of all the camps throughout their hosts: and over his host was Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai.
26And over the host of the tribe of the children of Asher was Pagiel the son of Ocran.
27And over the host of the tribe of the children of Naphtali was Ahira the son of Enan.
28Thus were the journeyings of the children of Israel according to their armies, when they set forward.
29And Moses said unto Hobab, the son of Raguel the Midianite, Moses’ father in law, We are journeying unto the place of which the LORD said, I will give it you: come thou with us, and we will do thee good: for the LORD hath spoken good concerning Israel.
30And he said unto him, I will not go; but I will depart to mine own land, and to my kindred.
31And he said, Leave us not, I pray thee; forasmuch as thou knowest how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and thou mayest be to us instead of eyes.
32And it shall be, if thou go with us, yea, it shall be, that what goodness the LORD shall do unto us, the same will we do unto thee.
33And they departed from the mount of the LORD three days’ journey: and the ark of the covenant of the LORD went before them in the three days’ journey, to search out a resting place for them.
34And the cloud of the LORD was upon them by day, when they went out of the camp.
35And it came to pass, when the ark set forward, that Moses said, Rise up, LORD, and let thine enemies be scattered; and let them that hate thee flee before thee.
36And when it rested, he said, Return, O LORD, unto the many thousands of Israel.

1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2“Make two trumpets of silver. You shall make them of beaten work. You shall use them for the calling of the congregation and for the journeying of the camps.
3When they blow them, all the congregation shall gather themselves to you at the door of the Tent of Meeting.
4If they blow just one, then the princes, the heads of the thousands of Israel, shall gather themselves to you.
5When you blow an alarm, the camps that lie on the east side shall go forward.
6When you blow an alarm the second time, the camps that lie on the south side shall go forward. They shall blow an alarm for their journeys.
7But when the assembly is to be gathered together, you shall blow, but you shall not sound an alarm.
8“The sons of Aaron, the priests, shall blow the trumpets. This shall be to you for a statute forever throughout your generations.
9When you go to war in your land against the adversary who oppresses you, then you shall sound an alarm with the trumpets. Then you will be remembered before the LORD your God, and you will be saved from your enemies.
10“Also in the day of your gladness, and in your set feasts, and in the beginnings of your months, you shall blow the trumpets over your burnt offerings, and over the sacrifices of your peace offerings; and they shall be to you for a memorial before your God. I am the LORD your God.”
11In the second year, in the second month, on the twentieth day of the month, the cloud was taken up from over the tabernacle of the covenant.
12The children of Israel went forward on their journeys out of the wilderness of Sinai; and the cloud stayed in the wilderness of Paran.
13They first went forward according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
14First, the standard of the camp of the children of Judah went forward according to their armies. Nahshon the son of Amminadab was over his army.

23Gamaliel the son of Pedahzur was over the army of the tribe of the children of Manasseh.
24Abidan the son of Gideoni was over the army of the tribe of the children of Benjamin.
25The standard of the camp of the children of Dan, which was the rear guard of all the camps, set forward according to their armies. Ahiezer the son of Ammishaddai was over his army.
26Pagiel the son of Ochran was over the army of the tribe of the children of Asher.
27Ahira the son of Enan was over the army of the tribe of the children of Naphtali.
28Thus were the travels of the children of Israel according to their armies; and they went forward.
29Moses said to Hobab, the son of Reuel the Midianite, Moses’ father-in-law, “We are journeying to the place of which the LORD said, ‘I will give it to you.’ Come with us, and we will treat you well; for the LORD has spoken good concerning Israel.”
30He said to him, “I will not go; but I will depart to my own land, and to my relatives.”
31Moses said, “Don’t leave us, please; because you know how we are to encamp in the wilderness, and you can be our eyes.
32It shall be, if you go with us—yes, it shall be—that whatever good the LORD does to us, we will do the same to you.”
33They set forward from the Mount of the LORD three days’ journey. The ark of the LORD’s covenant went before them three days’ journey, to seek out a resting place for them.
34The cloud of the LORD was over them by day, when they set forward from the camp.
35When the ark went forward, Moses said, “Rise up, LORD, and let your enemies be scattered! Let those who hate you flee before you!”
36When it rested, he said, “Return, LORD, to the ten thousands of the thousands of Israel.”
