Números 13

Envoie devant toi des hommes ; qu'ils reconnaissent la terre de Chanaan que je donne aux fils d'Israël afin qu'ils s'y établissent ; envoie un homme par tribu, par famille paternelle ; prends-le parmi les princes.

Y Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo:

Send thou men, that they may search the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel: of every tribe of their fathers shall ye send a man, every one a ruler among them.

“Send men, that they may spy out the land of Canaan, which I give to the children of Israel. Of every tribe of their fathers, you shall send a man, every one a prince among them.”
