Amalec demeure au midi de cette terre ; l'Hettéen, et le Jébuséen, et l'Amorrhéen, habitent la région montagneuse ; le Chananéen occupe les rives de la mer Morte et du Jourdain.

Mas el pueblo que habita aquella tierra es fuerte, y las ciudades muy grandes y fuertes; y también vimos allí los hijos de Anac.

The Amalekites dwell in the land of the south: and the Hittites, and the Jebusites, and the Amorites, dwell in the mountains: and the Canaanites dwell by the sea, and by the coast of Jordan.

Amalek dwells in the land of the South. The Hittite, the Jebusite, and the Amorite dwell in the hill country. The Canaanite dwells by the sea, and along the side of the Jordan.”
