Pourquoi Yahweh nous fait-il aller dans ce pays, pour que nous tombions par l'épée ? Nos femmes et nos enfants deviendront une proie. Ne vaut-il pas mieux pour nous retourner en Egypte ? »

¿Y por qué nos trae Jehová á esta tierra para caer á cuchillo, y que nuestras mujeres y nuestros chiquitos sean por presa? ¿no nos sería mejor volvernos á Egipto?

And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?

Why does the LORD bring us to this land, to fall by the sword? Our wives and our little ones will be captured or killed! Wouldn’t it be better for us to return into Egypt?”
