3Et pourquoi l’Éternel nous fait-il venir dans ce pays, pour y tomber par l’épée, pour que nos femmes et nos petits enfants deviennent une proie ? Ne serait-il pas bon pour nous de retourner en Égypte ?

3And wherefore hath the LORD brought us unto this land, to fall by the sword, that our wives and our children should be a prey? were it not better for us to return into Egypt?
