Alors, Coré, fils d'Isaar, lequel était fils de Caath, fils de Lévi, se concerta avec Dathan et Abiron, fils d'Eliab, et Hon, fils de Phéleth, fils de Ruben.

Y CORÉ, hijo de Ishar, hijo de Coath, hijo de Leví; y Dathán y Abiram, hijos de Eliab; y Hon, hijo de Peleth, de los hijos de Rubén, tomaron gente,

Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, and Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took men:

Now Korah, the son of Izhar, the son of Kohath, the son of Levi, with Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab, and On, the son of Peleth, sons of Reuben, took some men.

Et ils se révoltèrent contre Moïse, et avec eux deux cent cinquante des fils d'Israël, tous princes de la synagogue, siégeant au conseil, et hommes de renom.

Y levantáronse contra Moisés con doscientos y cincuenta varones de los hijos de Israel, príncipes de la congregación, de los del consejo, varones de nombre;

And they rose up before Moses, with certain of the children of Israel, two hundred and fifty princes of the assembly, famous in the congregation, men of renown:

They rose up before Moses, with some of the children of Israel, two hundred fifty princes of the congregation, called to the assembly, men of renown.

Ils s'attroupèrent devant Moïse et Aaron, et ils dirent : Qu'il vous suffise que toute la synagogue soit sainte, et que le Seigneur soit avec nous. Pourquoi donc vous placez-vous à la tête de la synagogue du Seigneur ?

Y se juntaron contra Moisés y Aarón, y les dijeron: Básteos, porque toda la congregación, todos ellos son santos, y en medio de ellos está Jehová: ¿por qué, pues, os levantáis vosotros sobre la congregación de Jehová?

And they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said unto them, Ye take too much upon you, seeing all the congregation are holy, every one of them, and the LORD is among them: wherefore then lift ye up yourselves above the congregation of the LORD?

They assembled themselves together against Moses and against Aaron, and said to them, “You take too much on yourself, since all the congregation are holy, everyone of them, and the LORD is among them! Why do you lift yourselves up above the LORD’s assembly?”

Moïse, les ayant ouïs, se prosterna la face contre terre.

Y como lo oyó Moisés, echóse sobre su rostro;

And when Moses heard it, he fell upon his face:

Il répondit à Coré et à toute sa troupe : Dieu ne nous perd pas de vue, il connaît ceux qui sont à lui, il connaît les saints, et il les fait venir jusqu'à lui ; ceux qu'il a choisis, il les fait approcher de lui.

Y habló á Coré y á todo su séquito, diciendo: Mañana mostrará Jehová quién es suyo, y al santo harálo llegar á sí; y al que él escogiere, él lo allegará á sí.

And he spake unto Korah and unto all his company, saying, Even to morrow the LORD will shew who are his, and who is holy; and will cause him to come near unto him: even him whom he hath chosen will he cause to come near unto him.

He said to Korah and to all his company, “In the morning, the LORD will show who are his, and who is holy, and will cause him to come near to him. Even him whom he shall choose, he will cause to come near to him.

Faites ceci : Vous Coré et ses partisans, prenez des encensoirs,

Haced esto: tomaos incensarios, Coré y todo su séquito:

This do; Take you censers, Korah, and all his company;

Do this: have Korah and all his company take censers,

Mettez-y du feu, demain vous y mettrez de l'encens devant le Seigneur ; et celui que le Seigneur a choisi sera saint ; que cela vous suffise, fils de Lévi ;

Y poned fuego en ellos, y poned en ellos sahumerio delante de Jehová mañana; y será que el varón á quien Jehová escogiere, aquél será el santo: básteos esto, hijos de Leví.

And put fire therein, and put incense in them before the LORD to morrow: and it shall be that the man whom the LORD doth choose, he shall be holy: ye take too much upon you, ye sons of Levi.

put fire in them, and put incense on them before the LORD tomorrow. It shall be that the man whom the LORD chooses, he shall be holy. You have gone too far, you sons of Levi!”

Et Moïse dit à Coré : écoutez-moi, fils de Lévi ;

Dijo más Moisés á Coré: Oid ahora, hijos de Leví:

And Moses said unto Korah, Hear, I pray you, ye sons of Levi:

Moses said to Korah, “Hear now, you sons of Levi!

N'est-ce pas assez pour vous que le Dieu d'Israël vous ait distingués parmi la synagogue d'Israël, et vous ait fait monter jusqu'à lui, afin que vous fassiez les services liturgiques du tabernacle, et que vous vous teniez devant le tabernacle où vous servez les prêtres ?

¿Os es poco que el Dios de Israel os haya apartado de la congregación de Israel, haciéndoos allegar á sí para que ministraseis en el servicio del tabernáculo de Jehová, y estuvieseis delante de la congregación para ministrarles?

Seemeth it but a small thing unto you, that the God of Israel hath separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself to do the service of the tabernacle of the LORD, and to stand before the congregation to minister unto them?

Is it a small thing to you that the God of Israel has separated you from the congregation of Israel, to bring you near to himself, to do the service of the LORD’s tabernacle, and to stand before the congregation to minister to them;

N'est-ce pas assez qu'il fait élevé jusqu'à lui, toi et tes frères les fils de Lévi ? faut-il que vous réclamiez de plus le sacerdoce ?

¿Y que te hizo acercar á ti, y á todos tus hermanos los hijos de Leví contigo; para que procuréis también el sacerdocio?

And he hath brought thee near to him, and all thy brethren the sons of Levi with thee: and seek ye the priesthood also?

and that he has brought you near, and all your brothers the sons of Levi with you? Do you seek the priesthood also?

Est-ce ainsi que toi et toute ta troupe, vous vous réunissez contre Dieu ? Et qui est-il Aaron, pour que vous murmuriez contre lui ?

Por tanto, tú y todo tu séquito sois los que os juntáis contra Jehová: pues Aarón, ¿qué es para que contra él murmuréis?

For which cause both thou and all thy company are gathered together against the LORD: and what is Aaron, that ye murmur against him?

Therefore you and all your company have gathered together against the LORD! What is Aaron that you complain against him?”

Alors, Moïse fit appeler Dathan et Abiron, fils d'Eliab, et ils dirent : Nous n'irons pas.

Y envió Moisés á llamar á Dathán y Abiram, hijos de Eliab; mas ellos respondieron: No iremos allá:

And Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab: which said, We will not come up:

Moses sent to call Dathan and Abiram, the sons of Eliab; and they said, “We won’t come up!

N'est-ce pas assez que tu nous aies soit-disant conduits en une terre où coulent le lait et le miel, pour nous faire périr dans le désert ?

¿Es poco que nos hayas hecho venir de una tierra que destila leche y miel, para hacernos morir en el desierto, sino que también te enseñorees de nosotros imperiosamente?

Is it a small thing that thou hast brought us up out of a land that floweth with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, except thou make thyself altogether a prince over us?

Is it a small thing that you have brought us up out of a land flowing with milk and honey, to kill us in the wilderness, but you must also make yourself a prince over us?

Oui, tu es chef ; oui, tu nous as conduits en une terre ou coulent le lait et le miel ; oui, tu nous as donné pour héritage des vignes et des champs ; il faut que tu aies aveuglé ces hommes qui te suivent ; nous ne te suivrons pas.

Ni tampoco nos has metido tú en tierra que fluya leche y miel, ni nos has dado heredades de tierras y viñas: ¿has de arrancar los ojos de estos hombres? No subiremos.

Moreover thou hast not brought us into a land that floweth with milk and honey, or given us inheritance of fields and vineyards: wilt thou put out the eyes of these men? we will not come up.

Moreover you haven’t brought us into a land flowing with milk and honey, nor given us inheritance of fields and vineyards. Will you put out the eyes of these men? We won’t come up.”

Moïse fut vivement indigné, et il dit au Seigneur : N'acceptez point leurs sacrifices ; je ne leur ai rien pris de ce qui leur est précieux, je n'ai affligé aucun d'eux.

Entonces Moisés se enojó en gran manera, y dijo á Jehová: No mires á su presente: ni aun un asno he tomado de ellos, ni á ninguno de ellos he hecho mal.

And Moses was very wroth, and said unto the LORD, Respect not thou their offering: I have not taken one ass from them, neither have I hurt one of them.

Moses was very angry, and said to the LORD, “Don’t respect their offering. I have not taken one donkey from them, neither have I hurt one of them.”

Moïse dit ensuite à Coré : Sanctifie ta troupe, et demain matin tenez- vous prêts devant le Seigneur, toi et les tiens d'une part, et de l'autre part Aaron.

Después dijo Moisés á Coré: Tú y todo tu séquito, poneos mañana delante de Jehová; tú, y ellos, y Aarón:

And Moses said unto Korah, Be thou and all thy company before the LORD, thou, and they, and Aaron, to morrow:

Moses said to Korah, “You and all your company go before the LORD, you, and they, and Aaron, tomorrow.

Prenez chacun un encensoir, mettez-y de l'encens ; présentez au Seigneur deux cent cinquante encensoirs ; qu'Aaron et les tiens aient chacun le leur.

Y tomad cada uno su incensario, y poned sahumerio en ellos, y allegad delante de Jehová cada uno su incensario: doscientos y cincuenta incensarios: tú también, y Aarón, cada uno con su incensario.

And take every man his censer, and put incense in them, and bring ye before the LORD every man his censer, two hundred and fifty censers; thou also, and Aaron, each of you his censer.

Each man take his censer and put incense on it, and each man bring before the LORD his censer, two hundred fifty censers; you also, and Aaron, each with his censer.”

Chacun prit donc son encensoir, y mit du feu et y jeta de l'encens ; cependant, Moïse et Aaron se tenaient devant la porte du tabernacle du témoignage.

Y tomaron cada uno su incensario, y pusieron en ellos fuego, y echaron en ellos sahumerio, y pusiéronse á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio con Moisés y Aarón.

And they took every man his censer, and put fire in them, and laid incense thereon, and stood in the door of the tabernacle of the congregation with Moses and Aaron.

They each took his censer, and put fire in it, and laid incense on it, and stood at the door of the Tent of Meeting with Moses and Aaron.

Coré et toute sa troupe étaient soulevés contre eux, devant la porte du tabernacle du témoignage, lorsque la gloire du Seigneur apparut à toute la synagogue d'Israël.

Ya Coré había hecho juntar contra ellos toda la congregación á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio: entonces la gloria de Jehová apareció á toda la congregación.

And Korah gathered all the congregation against them unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto all the congregation.

Korah assembled all the congregation opposite them to the door of the Tent of Meeting. The LORD’s glory appeared to all the congregation.

Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse et à Aaron, disant :

Y Jehová habló á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

Eloignez-vous de cette troupe ; je vais à l'instant la détruire.

Apartaos de entre esta congregación, y consumirlos he en un momento.

Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment.

“Separate yourselves from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment!”

Et ils tombèrent la face contre terre en s'écriant : Dieu, Dieu des esprits et de toute chair, parce qu'un seul a péché, la colère du Seigneur frappera-t-elle toute la synagogue ?

Y ellos se echaron sobre sus rostros, y dijeron: Dios, Dios de los espíritus de toda carne, ¿no es un hombre el que pecó? ¿y airarte has tú contra toda la congregación?

And they fell upon their faces, and said, O God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and wilt thou be wroth with all the congregation?

They fell on their faces, and said, “God, the God of the spirits of all flesh, shall one man sin, and will you be angry with all the congregation?”

Et le Seigneur parla à Moïse, disant :

Entonces Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

Parle à la synagogue, dis-leur : Eloignez-vous de la troupe de Coré.

Habla á la congregación, diciendo: Apartaos de en derredor de la tienda de Coré, Dathán, y Abiram.

Speak unto the congregation, saying, Get you up from about the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram.

“Speak to the congregation, saying, ‘Get away from around the tent of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram!’”

Moïse se leva, et il alla droit aux tentes de Dathan et d'Abiron, et tous les anciens d'Israël le suivirent ;

Y Moisés se levantó, y fué á Dathán y á Abiram; y los ancianos de Israel fueron en pos de él.

And Moses rose up and went unto Dathan and Abiram; and the elders of Israel followed him.

Et il dit à la synagogue : Eloignez-vous des tentes de ces méchants hommes ; ne touchez à rien de ce qui est à eux, si vous ne voulez périr à cause de leurs péché.

Y él habló á la congregación, diciendo: Apartaos ahora de las tiendas de estos impíos hombres, y no toquéis ninguna cosa suya, por que no perezcáis en todos sus pecados.

And he spake unto the congregation, saying, Depart, I pray you, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest ye be consumed in all their sins.

He spoke to the congregation, saying, “Depart, please, from the tents of these wicked men, and touch nothing of theirs, lest you be consumed in all their sins!”

Et ils formèrent un cercle à distance autour de la tente de Coré ; alors, Dathan et Abiron sortirent, et ils se tenaient sur les portes de leurs tentes avec leurs femmes, leurs enfants et leurs bagages.

Y apartáronse de las tiendas de Coré, de Dathán, y de Abiram en derredor: y Dathán y Abiram salieron y pusiéronse á las puertas de sus tiendas, con sus mujeres, y sus hijos, y sus chiquitos.

So they gat up from the tabernacle of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side: and Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood in the door of their tents, and their wives, and their sons, and their little children.

So they went away from the tent of Korah, Dathan, and Abiram, on every side. Dathan and Abiram came out, and stood at the door of their tents with their wives, their sons, and their little ones.

Moïse dit au peuple : Vous allez connaître que le Seigneur m'a envoyé pour faire toutes ces œuvres, et que je ne les fais point de moi-même.

Y dijo Moisés: En esto conoceréis que Jehová me ha enviado para que hiciese todas estas cosas; que no de mi corazón las hice.

And Moses said, Hereby ye shall know that the LORD hath sent me to do all these works; for I have not done them of mine own mind.

Moses said, “Hereby you shall know that the LORD has sent me to do all these works; for they are not from my own mind.

Si ces hommes meurent de la mort commune à tous, si le Seigneur les considère comme les autres hommes, le Seigneur ne m'a pas envoyé.

Si como mueren todos los hombres murieren éstos, ó si fueren ellos visitados á la manera de todos los hombres, Jehová no me envió.

If these men die the common death of all men, or if they be visited after the visitation of all men; then the LORD hath not sent me.

If these men die the common death of all men, or if they experience what all men experience, then the LORD hasn’t sent me.

Mais le Seigneur va faire éclater un prodige, la terre ouvrira sa bouche ; elle dévorera ces hommes, leurs familles, leurs tentes, tout ce qui leur appartient ; ils descendront vivants sous la terre, et vous reconnaîtrez qu'ils ont irrité le Seigneur.

Mas si Jehová hiciere una nueva cosa, y la tierra abriere su boca, y los tragare con todas sus cosas, y descendieren vivos al abismo, entonces conoceréis que estos hombres irritaron á Jehová.

But if the LORD make a new thing, and the earth open her mouth, and swallow them up, with all that appertain unto them, and they go down quick into the pit; then ye shall understand that these men have provoked the LORD.

But if the LORD makes a new thing, and the ground opens its mouth, and swallows them up with all that belong to them, and they go down alive into Sheol, then you shall understand that these men have despised the LORD.”

A peine avait-il achevé ces mots, que la terre se fendit sous ces hommes ;

Y aconteció, que en acabando él de hablar todas estas palabras, rompióse la tierra que estaba debajo de ellos:

And it came to pass, as he had made an end of speaking all these words, that the ground clave asunder that was under them:

As he finished speaking all these words, the ground that was under them split apart.

Elle s'ouvrit et elle les dévora, eux, leurs maisons, tous ceux qui étaient avec Coré, et même leur bétail.

Y abrió la tierra su boca, y tragólos á ellos, y á sus casas, y á todos los hombres de Coré, y á toda su hacienda.

And the earth opened her mouth, and swallowed them up, and their houses, and all the men that appertained unto Korah, and all their goods.

The earth opened its mouth and swallowed them up with their households, all of Korah’s men, and all their goods.

Ils descendirent vivants sous la terre avec tout ce qui leur appartenait, et la terre les cacha, et ils furent détruits au milieu de la synagogue.

Y ellos, con todo lo que tenían, descendieron vivos al abismo, y cubriólos la tierra, y perecieron de en medio de la congregación.

They, and all that appertained to them, went down alive into the pit, and the earth closed upon them: and they perished from among the congregation.

So they, and all that belonged to them went down alive into Sheol. The earth closed on them, and they perished from among the assembly.

Aussitôt, tout Israël qui les entourait, s'enfuit à leurs cris, disant : Prenons garde que la terre ne nous dévore.

Y todo Israel, los que estaban en derredor de ellos, huyeron al grito de ellos; porque decían: No nos trague también la tierra.

And all Israel that were round about them fled at the cry of them: for they said, Lest the earth swallow us up also.

All Israel that were around them fled at their cry; for they said, “Lest the earth swallow us up!”

Et un feu sortit de la gloire du Seigneur, et il dévora les deux cent cinquante hommes qui offraient de l'encens.

Y salió fuego de Jehová, y consumió los doscientos y cincuenta hombres que ofrecían el sahumerio.

And there came out a fire from the LORD, and consumed the two hundred and fifty men that offered incense.

Fire came out from the LORD, and devoured the two hundred fifty men who offered the incense.

Entonces Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

—

Di á Eleazar, hijo de Aarón sacerdote, que tome los incensarios de en medio del incendio, y derrame más allá el fuego; porque son santificados:

Speak unto Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter thou the fire yonder; for they are hallowed.

“Speak to Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest, that he take up the censers out of the burning, and scatter the fire away from the camp; for they are holy,

—

Los incensarios de estos pecadores contra sus almas: y harán de ellos planchas extendidas para cubrir el altar: por cuanto ofrecieron con ellos delante de Jehová, son santificados; y serán por señal á los hijos de Israel.

The censers of these sinners against their own souls, let them make them broad plates for a covering of the altar: for they offered them before the LORD, therefore they are hallowed: and they shall be a sign unto the children of Israel.

even the censers of those who sinned against their own lives. Let them be beaten into plates for a covering of the altar, for they offered them before the LORD. Therefore they are holy. They shall be a sign to the children of Israel.”

Y el sacerdote Eleazar tomó los incensarios de metal con que los quemados habían ofrecido; y extendiéronlos para cubrir el altar,

And Eleazar the priest took the brasen censers, wherewith they that were burnt had offered; and they were made broad plates for a covering of the altar:

Eleazar the priest took the bronze censers which those who were burned had offered; and they beat them out for a covering of the altar,

En recuerdo á los hijos de Israel que ningún extraño que no sea de la simiente de Aarón, llegue á ofrecer sahumerio delante de Jehová, porque no sea como Coré, y como su séquito; según se lo dijo Jehová por mano de Moisés.

To be a memorial unto the children of Israel, that no stranger, which is not of the seed of Aaron, come near to offer incense before the LORD; that he be not as Korah, and as his company: as the LORD said to him by the hand of Moses.

to be a memorial to the children of Israel, to the end that no stranger who isn’t of the offspring of Aaron, would come near to burn incense before the LORD, that he not be as Korah and as his company; as the LORD spoke to him by Moses.

El día siguiente toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel murmuró contra Moisés y Aarón, diciendo: Vosotros habéis muerto al pueblo de Jehová.

But on the morrow all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and against Aaron, saying, Ye have killed the people of the LORD.

But on the next day all the congregation of the children of Israel complained against Moses and against Aaron, saying, “You have killed the LORD’s people!”

Y aconteció que, como se juntó la congregación contra Moisés y Aarón, miraron hacia el tabernáculo del testimonio, y he aquí la nube lo había cubierto, y apareció la gloria de Jehová.

And it came to pass, when the congregation was gathered against Moses and against Aaron, that they looked toward the tabernacle of the congregation: and, behold, the cloud covered it, and the glory of the LORD appeared.

When the congregation was assembled against Moses and against Aaron, they looked toward the Tent of Meeting. Behold, the cloud covered it, and the LORD’s glory appeared.

Y vinieron Moisés y Aarón delante del tabernáculo del testimonio.

And Moses and Aaron came before the tabernacle of the congregation.

Moses and Aaron came to the front of the Tent of Meeting.

Y Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

—

Apartaos de en medio de esta congregación, y consumirélos en un momento. Y ellos se echaron sobre sus rostros.

Get you up from among this congregation, that I may consume them as in a moment. And they fell upon their faces.

“Get away from among this congregation, that I may consume them in a moment!” They fell on their faces.

Y dijo Moisés á Aarón: Toma el incensario, y pon en él fuego del altar, y sobre él pon perfume, y ve presto á la congregación, y haz expiación por ellos; porque el furor ha salido de delante de la faz de Jehová: la mortandad ha comenzado.

And Moses said unto Aaron, Take a censer, and put fire therein from off the altar, and put on incense, and go quickly unto the congregation, and make an atonement for them: for there is wrath gone out from the LORD; the plague is begun.

Moses said to Aaron, “Take your censer, put fire from the altar in it, lay incense on it, carry it quickly to the congregation, and make atonement for them; for wrath has gone out from the LORD! The plague has begun.”

Entonces tomó Aarón el incensario, como Moisés dijo, y corrió en medio de la congregación: y he aquí que la mortandad había comenzado en el pueblo: y él puso perfume, é hizo expiación por el pueblo.

And Aaron took as Moses commanded, and ran into the midst of the congregation; and, behold, the plague was begun among the people: and he put on incense, and made an atonement for the people.

Aaron did as Moses said, and ran into the middle of the assembly. The plague had already begun among the people. He put on the incense, and made atonement for the people.

Y púsose entre los muertos y los vivos; y cesó la mortandad.

And he stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.

He stood between the dead and the living; and the plague was stayed.

—

Y los que murieron en aquella mortandad fueron catorce mil y setecientos, sin los muertos por el negocio de Coré.

Now they that died in the plague were fourteen thousand and seven hundred, beside them that died about the matter of Korah.

Now those who died by the plague were fourteen thousand seven hundred, in addition to those who died about the matter of Korah.

Después se volvió Aarón á Moisés á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, cuando la mortandad había cesado.

And Aaron returned unto Moses unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation: and the plague was stayed.

Aaron returned to Moses to the door of the Tent of Meeting, and the plague was stopped.
