“Habla a los hijos de Israel y pídeles doce varas, una por cada jefe de sus familias patriarcales. Escribe el nombre de cada uno en su respectiva vara.
Habla á los hijos de Israel, y toma de ellos una vara por cada casa de los padres, de todos los príncipes de ellos, doce varas conforme á las casas de sus padres; y escribirás el nombre de cada uno sobre su vara.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man’s name upon his rod.
“Speak to the children of Israel, and take rods from them, one for each fathers’ house, of all their princes according to their fathers’ houses, twelve rods. Write each man’s name on his rod.
Y escribirás el nombre de Aarón en la vara de la tribu de Leví. Habrá una vara por cada jefe de familia.
Y escribirás el nombre de Aarón sobre la vara de Leví; porque cada cabeza de familia de sus padres tendrá una vara.
And thou shalt write Aaron’s name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
You shall write Aaron’s name on Levi’s rod. There shall be one rod for each head of their fathers’ houses.
Luego las pondrás en la Tienda del Encuentro, frente al arca del Testimonio, donde me reúno con ustedes.
Y las pondrás en el tabernáculo del testimonio delante del testimonio, donde yo me declararé á vosotros.
And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.
You shall lay them up in the Tent of Meeting before the covenant, where I meet with you.
Y sucederá que la vara del hombre que yo elija retoñará. De esta manera haré que los hijos de Israel dejen de quejarse y murmurar contra ustedes delante de mí”.
Y será, que el varón que yo escogiere, su vara florecerá: y haré cesar de sobre mí las quejas de los hijos de Israel, con que murmuran contra vosotros.
And it shall come to pass, that the man’s rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.
It shall happen that the rod of the man whom I shall choose shall bud. I will make the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against you, cease from me.”
Moisés habló con los hijos de Israel, y todos sus líderes le entregaron varas, una por cada jefe de familia, siendo doce varas en total. La vara de Aarón estaba entre ellas.
Y Moisés habló á los hijos de Israel, y todos los príncipes de ellos le dieron varas; cada príncipe por las casas de sus padres una vara, en todas doce varas; y la vara de Aarón estaba entre las varas de ellos.
And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.

Moisés depositó las varas delante de Yahvé en la Tienda del Testimonio.

Al día siguiente, cuando Moisés entró en la Tienda del Testimonio, vio que la vara de Aarón, que representaba a la casa de Leví, había retoñado; tenía brotes, había florecido y producido almendras maduras.
Y aconteció que el día siguiente vino Moisés al tabernáculo del testimonio; y he aquí que la vara de Aarón de la casa de Leví había brotado, y echado flores, y arrojado renuevos, y producido almendras.
And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.
On the next day, Moses went into the Tent of the Testimony; and behold, Aaron’s rod for the house of Levi had sprouted, budded, produced blossoms, and bore ripe almonds.
Entonces Moisés sacó todas las varas de la presencia de Yahvé y se las mostró a todos los hijos de Israel. Ellos las vieron, y cada hombre tomó su propia vara.
Entonces sacó Moisés todas las varas de delante de Jehová á todos los hijos de Israel; y ellos lo vieron, y tomaron cada uno su vara.
And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.

Yahvé le dijo a Moisés: “Vuelve a poner la vara de Aarón frente al Testimonio, para guardarla como advertencia para los rebeldes; así pondrás fin a sus quejas contra mí, y no morirán”.
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Vuelve la vara de Aarón delante del testimonio, para que se guarde por señal á los hijos rebeldes; y harás cesar sus quejas de sobre mí, porque no mueran.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron’s rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
The LORD said to Moses, “Put back the rod of Aaron before the covenant, to be kept for a token against the children of rebellion; that you may make an end of their complaining against me, that they not die.”
Moisés hizo exactamente lo que Yahvé le había ordenado.
E hízolo Moisés: como le mandó Jehová, así hizo.

Pero los hijos de Israel le dijeron a Moisés: “¡Nos vamos a morir! ¡Estamos perdidos! ¡Todos estamos arruinados!
Entonces los hijos de Israel hablaron á Moisés, diciendo: He aquí nosotros somos muertos, perdidos somos, todos nosotros somos perdidos.
And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.
The children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, “Behold, we perish! We are undone! We are all undone!
¡Cualquiera que se acerque al tabernáculo de Yahvé muere! ¿Acaso vamos a perecer todos?”
Cualquiera que se llegare, el que se acercare al tabernáculo de Jehová morirá: ¿acabaremos de perecer todos?
Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?
Everyone who keeps approaching the LORD’s tabernacle, dies! Will we all perish?”
