And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

"Dize ao povo de Israel que apresentem varas, uma de cada tribo de seus antepassados. Toma doze varas, uma de cada líder escolhido de cada tribo. Escreve o nome de cada homem em sua vara.
Habla á los hijos de Israel, y toma de ellos una vara por cada casa de los padres, de todos los príncipes de ellos, doce varas conforme á las casas de sus padres; y escribirás el nombre de cada uno sobre su vara.
Speak unto the children of Israel, and take of every one of them a rod according to the house of their fathers, of all their princes according to the house of their fathers twelve rods: write thou every man’s name upon his rod.
“Speak to the children of Israel, and take rods from them, one for each fathers’ house, of all their princes according to their fathers’ houses, twelve rods. Write each man’s name on his rod.
Tu escreverás o nome de Arão na vara de Levi. Deverá ser uma vara de cada líder da sua tribo de antepassados.
Y escribirás el nombre de Aarón sobre la vara de Leví; porque cada cabeza de familia de sus padres tendrá una vara.
And thou shalt write Aaron’s name upon the rod of Levi: for one rod shall be for the head of the house of their fathers.
You shall write Aaron’s name on Levi’s rod. There shall be one rod for each head of their fathers’ houses.
Tu colocarás as varas na Tenda do Encontro em frente aos decretos da aliança, onde Me encontro contigo.
Y las pondrás en el tabernáculo del testimonio delante del testimonio, donde yo me declararé á vosotros.
And thou shalt lay them up in the tabernacle of the congregation before the testimony, where I will meet with you.
You shall lay them up in the Tent of Meeting before the covenant, where I meet with you.
E acontecerá que a vara do homem que escolhi, florescerá. Eu farei parar as murmurações do povo de Israel, as quais eram contra ti".
Y será, que el varón que yo escogiere, su vara florecerá: y haré cesar de sobre mí las quejas de los hijos de Israel, con que murmuran contra vosotros.
And it shall come to pass, that the man’s rod, whom I shall choose, shall blossom: and I will make to cease from me the murmurings of the children of Israel, whereby they murmur against you.
It shall happen that the rod of the man whom I shall choose shall bud. I will make the murmurings of the children of Israel, which they murmur against you, cease from me.”
Então, Moisés falou ao povo de Israel. Todos os líderes das tribos deram-lhe as varas, uma vara de cada líder, escolhida de cada tribo antepassada, doze varas ao todo. A vara de Arão estava entre elas.
Y Moisés habló á los hijos de Israel, y todos los príncipes de ellos le dieron varas; cada príncipe por las casas de sus padres una vara, en todas doce varas; y la vara de Aarón estaba entre las varas de ellos.
And Moses spake unto the children of Israel, and every one of their princes gave him a rod apiece, for each prince one, according to their fathers’ houses, even twelve rods: and the rod of Aaron was among their rods.

E Moisés colocou as varas diante de Yahweh, na Tenda dos Decretos da Aliança.

No dia seguinte, Moisés entrou na Tenda dos Decretos da Aliança, e viu que a vara de Arão da tribo de Levi havia florescido. Brotou, produziu flores e amêndoas maduras!
Y aconteció que el día siguiente vino Moisés al tabernáculo del testimonio; y he aquí que la vara de Aarón de la casa de Leví había brotado, y echado flores, y arrojado renuevos, y producido almendras.
And it came to pass, that on the morrow Moses went into the tabernacle of witness; and, behold, the rod of Aaron for the house of Levi was budded, and brought forth buds, and bloomed blossoms, and yielded almonds.
On the next day, Moses went into the Tent of the Testimony; and behold, Aaron’s rod for the house of Levi had sprouted, budded, produced blossoms, and bore ripe almonds.
Moisés trouxe todas as varas de diante de Yahweh para todo o povo de Israel e cada homem tomou a sua vara.
Entonces sacó Moisés todas las varas de delante de Jehová á todos los hijos de Israel; y ellos lo vieron, y tomaron cada uno su vara.
And Moses brought out all the rods from before the LORD unto all the children of Israel: and they looked, and took every man his rod.

Yahweh disse a Moisés: "Coloca a vara de Arão em frente aos decretos da Aliança. E mantém-na como um sinal de culpa contra as pessoas que se rebelaram, para que acabes com as murmurações contra Mim, ou então morrerão".
Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Vuelve la vara de Aarón delante del testimonio, para que se guarde por señal á los hijos rebeldes; y harás cesar sus quejas de sobre mí, porque no mueran.
And the LORD said unto Moses, Bring Aaron’s rod again before the testimony, to be kept for a token against the rebels; and thou shalt quite take away their murmurings from me, that they die not.
The LORD said to Moses, “Put back the rod of Aaron before the covenant, to be kept for a token against the children of rebellion; that you may make an end of their complaining against me, that they not die.”
Moisés fez assim como Yahweh havia lhe ordenado.
E hízolo Moisés: como le mandó Jehová, así hizo.
And Moses did so: as the LORD commanded him, so did he.

O povo de Israel falou a Moisés, e disse-lhe: "Nós morreremos aqui. Iremos todos perecer!
Entonces los hijos de Israel hablaron á Moisés, diciendo: He aquí nosotros somos muertos, perdidos somos, todos nosotros somos perdidos.
And the children of Israel spake unto Moses, saying, Behold, we die, we perish, we all perish.
The children of Israel spoke to Moses, saying, “Behold, we perish! We are undone! We are all undone!
Todo aquele que vem, que se aproxima do Tabernáculo de Yahweh morrerá. Teremos todos que perecer?".
Cualquiera que se llegare, el que se acercare al tabernáculo de Jehová morirá: ¿acabaremos de perecer todos?
Whosoever cometh any thing near unto the tabernacle of the LORD shall die: shall we be consumed with dying?
Everyone who keeps approaching the LORD’s tabernacle, dies! Will we all perish?”
