ORA, essendo tutta la raunanza dei figliuoli d'Israele giunta al deserto di Sin, nel primo mese, il popolo si fermò in Cades; e quivi morì, e fu seppellita Maria.

Y LLEGARON los hijos de Israel, toda la congregación, al desierto de Zin, en el mes primero, y asentó el pueblo en Cades; y allí murió María, y fué allí sepultada.

Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there.

Ora, non v'era acqua per la raunanza; laonde si adunarono contro a Mosè e contro ad Aaronne.

Y como no hubiese agua para la congregación, juntáronse contra Moisés y Aarón.

And there was no water for the congregation: and they gathered themselves together against Moses and against Aaron.

E il popolo contese con Mosè e disse: Ah! fossimo pur morti, quando morirono i nostri fratelli davanti al Signore!

Y regañó el pueblo con Moisés, y hablaron diciendo: ¡Ojalá que nosotros hubiéramos muerto cuando perecieron nuestros hermanos delante de Jehová!

And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!

E perchè avete voi menata la raunanza del Signore in questo deserto, acciocchè noi e il nostro bestiame vi muoiamo?

¿Y por qué hiciste venir la congregación de Jehová á este desierto, para que muramos aquí nosotros y nuestras bestias?

And why have ye brought up the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there?

Why have you brought the LORD’s assembly into this wilderness, that we should die there, we and our animals?

E perchè ci avete tratti fuor di Egitto, per menarci in questo cattivo luogo, che non è luogo di sementa, nè di fichi, nè di vigne, nè di melagrane, e non vi è pure acqua da bere?

¿Y por qué nos has hecho subir de Egipto, para traernos á este mal lugar? No es lugar de sementera, de higueras, de viñas, ni granadas: ni aun de agua para beber.

And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.

Allora Mosè ed Aaronne se ne vennero d'appresso alla raunanza, all'entrata del Tabernacolo della convenenza, e si gittarono in terra sopra le lor facce; e la gloria del Signore apparve loro.

Y fuéronse Moisés y Aarón de delante de la congregación á la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio, y echáronse sobre sus rostros; y la gloria de Jehová apareció sobre ellos.

Piglia la verga; e tu ed Aaronne, tuo fratello, adunate la raunanza, e parlate a quel sasso, in presenza loro; ed esso darà la sua acqua, e tu farai loro uscir dell'acqua del sasso, e darai da bere alla raunanza e al lor bestiame.

Toma la vara, y reune la congregación, tú y Aarón tu hermano, y hablad á la peña en ojos de ellos; y ella dará su agua, y les sacarás aguas de la peña, y darás de beber á la congregación, y á sus bestias.

Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.

“Take the rod, and assemble the congregation, you, and Aaron your brother, and speak to the rock before their eyes, that it pour out its water. You shall bring water to them out of the rock; so you shall give the congregation and their livestock drink.”

Mosè adunque prese la verga d'innanzi al Signore, come egli gli avea comandato.

E Mosè ed Aaronne adunarono la raunanza davanti a quel sasso, e dissero loro: Ascoltate ora, o ribelli; vi faremo noi uscir dell'acqua di questo sasso?

Y juntaron Moisés y Aarón la congregación delante de la peña, y díjoles: Oid ahora, rebeldes: ¿os hemos de hacer salir aguas de esta peña?

And Moses and Aaron gathered the congregation together before the rock, and he said unto them, Hear now, ye rebels; must we fetch you water out of this rock?

E Mosè, alzata la mano, percosse il sasso con la sua verga due volte, e ne uscì molt'acqua; e la raunanza e il suo bestiame ne bevve.

Entonces alzó Moisés su mano, é hirió la peña con su vara dos veces: y salieron muchas aguas, y bebió la congregación, y sus bestias.

And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

Poi il Signore disse a Mosè e ad Aaronne: Perciocchè voi non mi avete creduto, per santificarmi in presenza dei figliuoli d'Israele; perciò voi non introdurrete questa raunanza nel paese che io ho lor donato.

Y Jehová dijo á Moisés y á Aarón: Por cuanto no creísteis en mí, para santificarme en ojos de los hijos de Israel, por tanto, no meteréis esta congregación en la tierra que les he dado.

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you didn’t believe in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

Quest'è l'acqua della contesa, della quale i figliuoli d'Israele contesero col Signore; ed egli fu santificato fra loro.

POI Mosè mandò di Cades ambasciadori al re di Edom, a dirgli: Così dice Israele, tuo fratello: Tu sai tutti i travagli che ci sono avvenuti.

Come i nostri padri scesero in Egitto, e come noi siamo dimorati in Egitto lungo tempo, e come gli Egizj hanno trattato male noi e i nostri padri.

Cómo nuestros padres descendieron á Egipto, y estuvimos en Egipto largo tiempo, y los Egipcios nos maltrataron, y á nuestros padres;

How our fathers went down into Egypt, and we have dwelt in Egypt a long time; and the Egyptians vexed us, and our fathers:

Onde avendo noi gridato al Signore, egli ha uditi i nostri gridi, e ha mandato l'Angelo, e ci ha tratti fuor del paese di Egitto. Or eccoci in Cades, città che è allo stremo de' tuoi confini.

Y clamamos á Jehová, el cual oyó nuestra voz, y envió ángel, y sacónos de Egipto; y he aquí estamos en Cades, ciudad al extremo de tus confines:

And when we cried unto the LORD, he heard our voice, and sent an angel, and hath brought us forth out of Egypt: and, behold, we are in Kadesh, a city in the uttermost of thy border:

Deh! lascia che passiamo per lo tuo paese; noi non passeremo per campi, nè per vigne, e non berremo alcun'acqua di pozzo; cammineremo per la strada reale, e non ci rivolgeremo nè a destra nè a sinistra, finchè abbiamo passati i tuoi confini.

Rogámoste que pasemos por tu tierra; no pasaremos por labranza, ni por viña, ni beberemos agua de pozos: por el camino real iremos, sin apartarnos á la diestra ni á la siniestra, hasta que hayamos pasado tu término.

Let us pass, I pray thee, through thy country: we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king’s high way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed thy borders.

Ma l'Idumeo mandò loro a dire: Non passate per lo mio paese, ch'io non esca incontro a voi a mano armata.

Y Edom le respondió: No pasarás por mi país, de otra manera saldré contra ti armado.

And Edom said unto him, Thou shalt not pass by me, lest I come out against thee with the sword.

E i figliuoli d'Israele gli risposero: Noi cammineremo per la strada pubblica; e, se noi e il nostro bestiame beviamo della tua acqua, noi te ne pagheremo il prezzo; sol una cosa ti chieggiamo, che possiamo passare col nostro seguito.

Y los hijos de Israel dijeron: Por el camino seguido iremos; y si bebiéremos tus aguas yo y mis ganados, daré el precio de ellas: ciertamente sin hacer otra cosa, pasaré de seguida.

And the children of Israel said unto him, We will go by the high way: and if I and my cattle drink of thy water, then I will pay for it: I will only, without doing any thing else, go through on my feet.

The children of Israel said to him, “We will go up by the highway; and if we drink your water, I and my livestock, then I will give its price. Only let me, without doing anything else, pass through on my feet.”

Ma egli disse: Voi non passerete. E l'Idumeo uscì incontro a loro, con molta gente, e con potente mano.

And he said, Thou shalt not go through. And Edom came out against him with much people, and with a strong hand.

E TUTTA la raunanza de' figliuoli d'Israele, partitasi di Cades, pervenne al monte di Hor.

Y partidos de Cades los hijos de Israel, toda aquella congregación, vinieron al monte de Hor.

And the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, journeyed from Kadesh, and came unto mount Hor.

E il Signore parlò a Mosè e ad Aaronne, al monte di Hor, presso a' confini del paese di Edom, dicendo:

Y Jehová habló á Moisés y Aarón en el monte de Hor, en los confines de la tierra de Edom, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron in mount Hor, by the coast of the land of Edom, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron in Mount Hor, by the border of the land of Edom, saying,

Aaronne sarà raccolto a' suoi popoli; perciocchè egli non entrerà nel paese che io ho donato a' figliuoli d'Israele; conciossiachè voi siate stati ribelli al mio comandamento all'acqua della contesa.

Aarón será reunido á sus pueblos; pues no entrará en la tierra que yo di á los hijos de Israel, por cuanto fuisteis rebeldes á mi mandamiento en las aguas de la rencilla.

Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.

E Mosè fece come il Signore gli avea comandato; ed essi salirono in sul monte di Hor, alla vista di tutta la raunanza.

E Mosè spogliò Aaronne dei suoi vestimenti, e li fece vestire a Eleazaro, figliuolo di esso; ed Aaronne morì quivi in su la sommità del monte. Poi Mosè ed Eleazaro scesero giù dal monte.

Y Moisés hizo desnudar á Aarón de sus vestidos y vistiólos á Eleazar su hijo: y Aarón murió allí en la cumbre del monte: y Moisés y Eleazar descendieron del monte.

And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.

E avendo tutta la raunanza veduto che Aaronne era trapassato, tutte le famiglie d'Israele lo piansero per trenta giorni.
