Und die ganze Gemeinde der Kinder Israel kam in die Wüste Zin, im ersten Monat, und das Volk blieb zu Kadesch. Und Mirjam starb daselbst und ward daselbst begraben.

Y LLEGARON los hijos de Israel, toda la congregación, al desierto de Zin, en el mes primero, y asentó el pueblo en Cades; y allí murió María, y fué allí sepultada.

Then came the children of Israel, even the whole congregation, into the desert of Zin in the first month: and the people abode in Kadesh; and Miriam died there, and was buried there.

Und die Gemeinde hatte kein Wasser; darum versammelten sie sich wider Mose und wider Aaron.

Und das Volk haderte mit Mose und sprach: Ach, daß wir umgekommen wären, als unsre Brüder vor dem HERRN umkamen!

Y regañó el pueblo con Moisés, y hablaron diciendo: ¡Ojalá que nosotros hubiéramos muerto cuando perecieron nuestros hermanos delante de Jehová!

And the people chode with Moses, and spake, saying, Would God that we had died when our brethren died before the LORD!

Und warum habt ihr die Gemeinde des HERRN in diese Wüste gebracht, daß wir hier sterben, wir und unser Vieh?

¿Y por qué hiciste venir la congregación de Jehová á este desierto, para que muramos aquí nosotros y nuestras bestias?

And why have ye brought up the congregation of the LORD into this wilderness, that we and our cattle should die there?

Why have you brought the LORD’s assembly into this wilderness, that we should die there, we and our animals?

Warum habt ihr uns doch aus Ägypten an diesen bösen Ort geführt, da man nicht säen kann, da weder Feigenbäume noch Weinstöcke noch Granatäpfel sind, auch kein Wasser zu trinken?

¿Y por qué nos has hecho subir de Egipto, para traernos á este mal lugar? No es lugar de sementera, de higueras, de viñas, ni granadas: ni aun de agua para beber.

And wherefore have ye made us to come up out of Egypt, to bring us in unto this evil place? it is no place of seed, or of figs, or of vines, or of pomegranates; neither is there any water to drink.

Und Mose und Aaron gingen von der Gemeinde weg zur Tür der Stiftshütte und fielen auf ihr Angesicht. Und die Herrlichkeit des HERRN erschien ihnen.

And Moses and Aaron went from the presence of the assembly unto the door of the tabernacle of the congregation, and they fell upon their faces: and the glory of the LORD appeared unto them.

Nimm den Stab und versammle die Gemeinde, du und dein Bruder Aaron, und redet mit dem Felsen vor ihren Augen, der wird sein Wasser geben. So sollst du ihnen Wasser aus dem Felsen verschaffen und die Gemeinde und ihr Vieh tränken.

Toma la vara, y reune la congregación, tú y Aarón tu hermano, y hablad á la peña en ojos de ellos; y ella dará su agua, y les sacarás aguas de la peña, y darás de beber á la congregación, y á sus bestias.

Take the rod, and gather thou the assembly together, thou, and Aaron thy brother, and speak ye unto the rock before their eyes; and it shall give forth his water, and thou shalt bring forth to them water out of the rock: so thou shalt give the congregation and their beasts drink.

“Take the rod, and assemble the congregation, you, and Aaron your brother, and speak to the rock before their eyes, that it pour out its water. You shall bring water to them out of the rock; so you shall give the congregation and their livestock drink.”

Da holte Mose den Stab vor dem HERRN, wie er ihm gesagt hatte.

Und Mose hob seine Hand auf und schlug den Felsen zweimal mit seinem Stab. Da floß viel Wasser heraus; und die Gemeinde und ihr Vieh tranken.

Entonces alzó Moisés su mano, é hirió la peña con su vara dos veces: y salieron muchas aguas, y bebió la congregación, y sus bestias.

And Moses lifted up his hand, and with his rod he smote the rock twice: and the water came out abundantly, and the congregation drank, and their beasts also.

Der HERR aber sprach zu Mose und Aaron: Weil ihr nicht auf mich vertraut habt, um mich vor den Kindern Israel zu heiligen, sollt ihr diese Gemeinde nicht in das Land bringen, das ich ihnen geben werde!

Y Jehová dijo á Moisés y á Aarón: Por cuanto no creísteis en mí, para santificarme en ojos de los hijos de Israel, por tanto, no meteréis esta congregación en la tierra que les he dado.

And the LORD spake unto Moses and Aaron, Because ye believed me not, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore ye shall not bring this congregation into the land which I have given them.

The LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Because you didn’t believe in me, to sanctify me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.”

Das ist das Wasser Meriba, wo die Kinder Israel mit dem HERRN haderten, und er sich an ihnen heilig erwies.

Darnach sandte Mose Botschaft aus Kadesch zu dem König der Edomiter: Also läßt dir dein Bruder Israel sagen: Du weißt alle Mühe, die uns begegnet ist;

daß unsre Väter nach Ägypten hinabgezogen sind; daß wir lange Zeit in Ägypten gewohnt und die Ägypter uns und unsre Väter mißhandelt haben;

und wir schrieen zum HERRN, und er erhörte unsre Stimme und sandte einen Engel und führte uns aus Ägypten. Und siehe, wir sind zu Kadesch, einer Stadt zuäußerst an deinem Gebiet.

So laß uns nun durch dein Land ziehen. Wir wollen weder durch Äcker noch durch Weinberge gehen, auch kein Wasser aus den Brunnen trinken. Wir wollen auf der Königsstraße ziehen und weder zur rechten noch zur linken Seite weichen, bis wir durch dein Gebiet gekommen sind.

Rogámoste que pasemos por tu tierra; no pasaremos por labranza, ni por viña, ni beberemos agua de pozos: por el camino real iremos, sin apartarnos á la diestra ni á la siniestra, hasta que hayamos pasado tu término.

Let us pass, I pray thee, through thy country: we will not pass through the fields, or through the vineyards, neither will we drink of the water of the wells: we will go by the king’s high way, we will not turn to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed thy borders.

“Please let us pass through your land. We will not pass through field or through vineyard, neither will we drink from the water of the wells. We will go along the king’s highway. We will not turn away to the right hand nor to the left, until we have passed your border.”

Der Edomiter aber sprach zu ihnen: Du sollst nicht durch mein Land ziehen, sonst will ich dir mit dem Schwert entgegentreten!

Y Edom le respondió: No pasarás por mi país, de otra manera saldré contra ti armado.

And Edom said unto him, Thou shalt not pass by me, lest I come out against thee with the sword.

Die Kinder Israel sprachen zu ihm: Wir wollen auf der gebahnten Straße ziehen, und wenn wir von deinem Wasser trinken, wir und unser Vieh, so wollen wir es bezahlen; wir wollen nur zu Fuß hindurchziehen.

Y los hijos de Israel dijeron: Por el camino seguido iremos; y si bebiéremos tus aguas yo y mis ganados, daré el precio de ellas: ciertamente sin hacer otra cosa, pasaré de seguida.

And the children of Israel said unto him, We will go by the high way: and if I and my cattle drink of thy water, then I will pay for it: I will only, without doing any thing else, go through on my feet.

The children of Israel said to him, “We will go up by the highway; and if we drink your water, I and my livestock, then I will give its price. Only let me, without doing anything else, pass through on my feet.”

Er aber sprach: Du sollst nicht hindurchziehen! Und der Edomiter zog ihnen entgegen mit mächtigem Volk und mit starker Hand.

Also weigerte sich der Edomiter, Israel zu vergönnen, durch sein Gebiet zu ziehen. Und Israel wich von ihm.

Und der HERR redete mit Mose und Aaron an dem Berge Hor, an den Landmarken der Edomiter und sprach:

Laß Aaron sich zu seinem Volk versammeln; denn er soll nicht in das Land kommen, das ich den Kindern Israel gegeben habe, weil ihr meinen Worten beim Haderwasser ungehorsam gewesen seid.

Aarón será reunido á sus pueblos; pues no entrará en la tierra que yo di á los hijos de Israel, por cuanto fuisteis rebeldes á mi mandamiento en las aguas de la rencilla.

Aaron shall be gathered unto his people: for he shall not enter into the land which I have given unto the children of Israel, because ye rebelled against my word at the water of Meribah.

Y Moisés hizo desnudar á Aarón de sus vestidos y vistiólos á Eleazar su hijo: y Aarón murió allí en la cumbre del monte: y Moisés y Eleazar descendieron del monte.

And Moses stripped Aaron of his garments, and put them upon Eleazar his son; and Aaron died there in the top of the mount: and Moses and Eleazar came down from the mount.
