22«Permítanos cruzar por su territorio —le pidieron—. No nos saldremos del camino real hasta que hayamos pasado las fronteras. No nos meteremos en los campos ni en los viñedos, ni beberemos el agua de sus pozos».

22Pasaré por tu tierra: no nos apartaremos por los labrados, ni por las viñas; no beberemos las aguas de los pozos: por el camino real iremos, hasta que pasemos tu término.

22Let me pass through thy land: we will not turn into the fields, or into the vineyards; we will not drink of the waters of the well: but we will go along by the king’s high way, until we be past thy borders.
