Números 21

Et Yahweh dit à Moïse : « Fais-toi un serpent brûlant et place-le sur un poteau ; quiconque aura été mordu et le regardera, conservera la vie. »

Y Jehová dijo á Moisés: Hazte una serpiente ardiente, y ponla sobre la bandera: y será que cualquiera que fuere mordido y mirare á ella, vivirá.

And the LORD said unto Moses, Make thee a fiery serpent, and set it upon a pole: and it shall come to pass, that every one that is bitten, when he looketh upon it, shall live.

The LORD said to Moses, “Make a venomous snake, and set it on a pole. It shall happen that everyone who is bitten, when he sees it, shall live.”
