Und Bileam sprach zu Balak: Baue mir hier sieben Altäre, und verschaffe mir hier sieben Farren und sieben Widder!

Y BALAAM dijo á Balac: Edifícame aquí siete altares, y prepárame aquí siete becerros y siete carneros.

And Balaam said unto Balak, Build me here seven altars, and prepare me here seven oxen and seven rams.

Balaam said to Balak, “Build here seven altars for me, and prepare here seven bulls and seven rams for me.”

Balak tat, wie ihm Bileam sagte. Und beide, Balak und Bileam, opferten auf jedem Altar einen Farren und einen Widder.

Y Balac hizo como le dijo Balaam: y ofrecieron Balac y Balaam un becerro y un carnero en cada altar.

And Balak did as Balaam had spoken; and Balak and Balaam offered on every altar a bullock and a ram.

Und Bileam sprach zu Balak: Tritt zu deinem Brandopfer! Ich will dorthin gehen. Vielleicht begegnet mir der HERR, daß ich dir ansage, was er mir zeigen wird.

Y Balaam dijo á Balac: Ponte junto á tu holocausto, y yo iré: quizá Jehová me vendrá al encuentro, y cualquiera cosa que me mostrare, te la noticiaré. Y así se fué solo.

And Balaam said unto Balak, Stand by thy burnt offering, and I will go: peradventure the LORD will come to meet me: and whatsoever he sheweth me I will tell thee. And he went to an high place.

Balaam said to Balak, “Stand by your burnt offering, and I will go. Perhaps the LORD will come to meet me. Whatever he shows me I will tell you.” He went to a bare height.

Und er ging auf einen Hügel. Und Gott begegnete dem Bileam. Er aber sprach zu ihm: Sieben Altäre habe ich zugerichtet und auf jedem einen Farren und einen Widder geopfert.

Y vino Dios al encuentro de Balaam, y éste le dijo: Siete altares he ordenado, y en cada altar he ofrecido un becerro y un carnero.

And God met Balaam: and he said unto him, I have prepared seven altars, and I have offered upon every altar a bullock and a ram.

God met Balaam, and he said to him, “I have prepared the seven altars, and I have offered up a bull and a ram on every altar.”

Der HERR aber legte Bileam das Wort in den Mund und sprach: Geh wieder zu Balak und rede also!

Y Jehová puso palabra en la boca de Balaam, y díjole: Vuelve á Balac, y has de hablar así.

And the LORD put a word in Balaam’s mouth, and said, Return unto Balak, and thus thou shalt speak.

The LORD put a word in Balaam’s mouth, and said, “Return to Balak, and thus you shall speak.”

So kam er wieder zu ihm, und siehe, da stand er bei seinem Brandopfer, er und alle Fürsten der Moabiter.

Y volvió á él, y he aquí estaba él junto á su holocausto, él y todos los príncipes de Moab.

And he returned unto him, and, lo, he stood by his burnt sacrifice, he, and all the princes of Moab.

He returned to him, and behold, he was standing by his burnt offering, he, and all the princes of Moab.

Da hob er an seinen Spruch und sprach: Balak, der Moabiter König, hat mich aus Syrien von dem östlichen Gebirge holen lassen: Komm, verfluche mir Jakob, komm und verwünsche Israel!

Y él tomó su parábola, y dijo: De Aram me trajo Balac, rey de Moab, de los montes del oriente: ven, maldíceme á Jacob; y ven, execra á Israel.

And he took up his parable, and said, Balak the king of Moab hath brought me from Aram, out of the mountains of the east, saying, Come, curse me Jacob, and come, defy Israel.

He took up his parable, and said, “From Aram has Balak brought me, the king of Moab from the mountains of the East. Come, curse Jacob for me. Come, defy Israel.

Wie sollte ich dem fluchen, dem Gott nicht flucht? Wie sollte ich den verwünschen, den der HERR nicht verwünscht?

¿Por qué maldeciré yo al que Dios no maldijo? ¿y por qué he de execrar al que Jehová no ha execrado?

How shall I curse, whom God hath not cursed? or how shall I defy, whom the LORD hath not defied?

How shall I curse whom God has not cursed? How shall I defy whom the LORD has not defied?

Denn von den Felsengipfeln sehe ich ihn, und von den Hügeln schaue ich ihn. Siehe, das Volk wohnt besonders und wird nicht unter die Heiden gerechnet.

Porque de la cumbre de las peñas lo veré, y desde los collados lo miraré: he aquí un pueblo que habitará confiado, y no será contado entre las gentes.

For from the top of the rocks I see him, and from the hills I behold him: lo, the people shall dwell alone, and shall not be reckoned among the nations.

For from the top of the rocks I see him. From the hills I see him. Behold, it is a people that dwells alone, and shall not be listed among the nations.

Wer kann den Staub Jakobs zählen und die Zahl des vierten Teils von Israel? Meine Seele möchte des Todes der Gerechten sterben, und mein Ende werde wie dieser Ende!

¿Quién contará el polvo de Jacob, o el número de la cuarta parte de Israel? Muera mi persona de la muerte de los rectos, y mi postrimería sea como la suya.

Who can count the dust of Jacob, and the number of the fourth part of Israel? Let me die the death of the righteous, and let my last end be like his!

Da sprach Balak zu Bileam: Was hast du mir angestellt? Ich habe dich holen lassen, meinen Feinden zu fluchen, und siehe, gesegnet hast du sie!

Entonces Balac dijo á Balaam: ¿Qué me has hecho? hete tomado para que maldigas á mis enemigos, y he aquí has proferido bendiciones.

And Balak said unto Balaam, What hast thou done unto me? I took thee to curse mine enemies, and, behold, thou hast blessed them altogether.

Balak said to Balaam, “What have you done to me? I took you to curse my enemies, and behold, you have blessed them altogether.”

Er antwortete und sprach: Muß ich nicht darauf achten zu reden, was mir der HERR in den Mund gelegt hat?

Y él respondió, y dijo: ¿No observaré yo lo que Jehová pusiere en mi boca para decirlo?

And he answered and said, Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD hath put in my mouth?

He answered and said, “Must I not take heed to speak that which the LORD puts in my mouth?”

Balak sprach zu ihm: Komm doch mit mir an einen andern Ort, von wo aus du es sehen kannst. Nur seinen äußersten Teil sollst du sehen und sollst es nicht ganz sehen; von da aus verfluche es mir!

Y dijo Balac: Ruégote que vengas conmigo á otro lugar desde el cual lo veas; su extremidad solamente verás, que no lo verás todo; y desde allí me lo maldecirás.

And Balak said unto him, Come, I pray thee, with me unto another place, from whence thou mayest see them: thou shalt see but the utmost part of them, and shalt not see them all: and curse me them from thence.

Balak said to him, “Please come with me to another place, where you may see them. You shall see just part of them, and shall not see them all. Curse them from there for me.”

Und er nahm ihn †mit sich nach dem Späherfeld, auf die Höhe des Pisga, baute sieben Altäre und opferte auf jedem Altar einen Farren und einen Widder.

Y llevólo al campo de Sophim, á la cumbre de Pisga, y edificó siete altares, y ofreció un becerro y un carnero en cada altar.

And he brought him into the field of Zophim, to the top of Pisgah, and built seven altars, and offered a bullock and a ram on every altar.

Und Bileam sprach zu Balak: Tritt hier zu deinem Brandopfer; ich aber will dort eine Begegnung suchen.

Entonces él dijo á Balac: Ponte aquí junto á tu holocausto, y yo iré á encontrar á Dios allí.

And he said unto Balak, Stand here by thy burnt offering, while I meet the Lord yonder.

He said to Balak, “Stand here by your burnt offering, while I meet God over there.”

Und der HERR begegnete dem Bileam und legte ihm das Wort in seinen Mund und sprach: Geh wieder zu Balak und rede also!

Y Jehová salió al encuentro de Balaam, y puso palabra en su boca, y díjole: Vuelve á Balac, y así has de decir.

And the LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, Go again unto Balak, and say thus.

The LORD met Balaam, and put a word in his mouth, and said, “Return to Balak, and say this.”

Und als er wieder zu ihm kam, siehe, da stand er bei seinem Brandopfer samt den Fürsten der Moabiter. Und Balak sprach zu ihm: Was hat der HERR gesagt?

Y vino á él, y he aquí que él estaba junto á su holocausto, y con él los príncipes de Moab: y díjole Balac: ¿Qué ha dicho Jehová?

And when he came to him, behold, he stood by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab with him. And Balak said unto him, What hath the LORD spoken?

He came to him, and behold, he was standing by his burnt offering, and the princes of Moab with him. Balak said to him, “What has the LORD spoken?”

Da hob er an seinen Spruch und sprach: Steh auf, Balak, und höre! Fasse meine Zeugnisse zu Ohren, du Sohn Zippors!

Entonces él tomó su parábola, y dijo: Balac, levántate y oye; escucha mis palabras, hijo de Zippor:

And he took up his parable, and said, Rise up, Balak, and hear; hearken unto me, thou son of Zippor:

He took up his parable, and said, “Rise up, Balak, and hear! Listen to me, you son of Zippor.

Gott ist nicht ein Mensch, daß er lüge, noch ein Menschenkind, daß ihn etwas gereue. Sollte er etwas sagen und nicht tun? Sollte er etwas reden und es nicht halten?

Dios no es hombre, para que mienta; ni hijo de hombre para que se arrepienta: el dijo, ¿y no hará?; habló, ¿y no lo ejecutará?

God is not a man, that he should lie; neither the son of man, that he should repent: hath he said, and shall he not do it? or hath he spoken, and shall he not make it good?

God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of man, that he should repent. Has he said, and he won’t do it? Or has he spoken, and he won’t make it good?

Siehe, zu segnen habe ich †den Auftrag empfangen; denn er hat gesegnet, und ich kann es nicht abwenden!

He aquí, yo he tomado bendición: y él bendijo, y no podré revocarla.

Behold, I have received commandment to bless: and he hath blessed; and I cannot reverse it.

Behold, I have received a command to bless. He has blessed, and I can’t reverse it.

Man schaut kein Unheil in Jakob und sieht kein Unglück in Israel. Der HERR, sein Gott, ist mit ihm, und man jauchzt dem König zu in seiner Mitte.

No ha notado iniquidad en Jacob, ni ha visto perversidad en Israel: Jehová su Dios es con él, y júbilo de rey en él.

He hath not beheld iniquity in Jacob, neither hath he seen perverseness in Israel: the LORD his God is with him, and the shout of a king is among them.

He has not seen iniquity in Jacob. Neither has he seen perverseness in Israel. The LORD his God is with him. The shout of a king is among them.

Gott hat sie aus Ägypten geführt; seine Kraft ist wie die eines Büffels.

Dios los ha sacado de Egipto; tiene fuerzas como de unicornio.

God brought them out of Egypt; he hath as it were the strength of an unicorn.

God brings them out of Egypt. He has as it were the strength of the wild ox.

So hilft denn keine Zauberei gegen Jakob und keine Wahrsagerei wider Israel. Zu seiner Zeit wird man von Jakob sagen: Was hat Gott getan!

Porque en Jacob no hay agüero, ni adivinación en Israel: como ahora, será dicho de Jacob y de Israel: ¡Lo que ha hecho Dios!

Surely there is no enchantment against Jacob, neither is there any divination against Israel: according to this time it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, What hath God wrought!

Surely there is no enchantment with Jacob; neither is there any divination with Israel. Now it shall be said of Jacob and of Israel, ‘What has God done!’

Siehe, das Volk wird aufstehen wie eine Löwin und wird sich erheben wie ein Löwe. Es wird sich nicht legen, bis es den Raub verzehrt und das Blut der Erschlagenen getrunken hat!

He aquí el pueblo, que como león se levantará, y como león se erguirá: no se echará hasta que coma la presa, y beba la sangre de los muertos.

Behold, the people shall rise up as a great lion, and lift up himself as a young lion: he shall not lie down until he eat of the prey, and drink the blood of the slain.

Behold, a people rises up as a lioness. As a lion he lifts himself up. He shall not lie down until he eats of the prey, and drinks the blood of the slain.”

Da sprach Balak zu Bileam: Du sollst ihm weder fluchen noch Segen wünschen!

Entonces Balac dijo á Balaam: Ya que no lo maldices, ni tampoco lo bendigas.

And Balak said unto Balaam, Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all.

Balak said to Balaam, “Neither curse them at all, nor bless them at all.”

Bileam antwortete und sprach zu Balak: Habe ich dir nicht gesagt und gesprochen: Alles, was der HERR sagen wird, das werde ich tun?

Y Balaam respondió, y dijo á Balac: ¿No te he dicho que todo lo que Jehová me dijere, aquello tengo de hacer?

But Balaam answered and said unto Balak, Told not I thee, saying, All that the LORD speaketh, that I must do?

But Balaam answered Balak, “Didn’t I tell you, saying, ‘All that the LORD speaks, that I must do’?”

Balak sprach zu Bileam: Komm doch, ich will dich an einen andern Ort führen; vielleicht gefällt es Gott, daß du mir sie daselbst verfluchest!

Y dijo Balac á Balaam: Ruégote que vengas, te llevaré á otro lugar; por ventura parecerá bien á Dios que desde allí me lo maldigas.

And Balak said unto Balaam, Come, I pray thee, I will bring thee unto another place; peradventure it will please God that thou mayest curse me them from thence.

Balak said to Balaam, “Come now, I will take you to another place; perhaps it will please God that you may curse them for me from there.”

Und Balak nahm Bileam †mit sich auf die Höhe des Berges Peor, welcher auf die Wüste herunterschaut.

Y Balac llevó á Balaam á la cumbre de Peor, que mira hacia Jesimón.

And Balak brought Balaam unto the top of Peor, that looketh toward Jeshimon.

Balak took Balaam to the top of Peor, that looks down on the desert.
