Poi Balaam riguardò Amalec, e prese a proferir la sua sentenza, e disse: Amalec è una primizia di Gentili, E il suo rimanente sarà ridotto a perdizione.

Y viendo á Amalec, tomó su parábola, y dijo: Amalec, cabeza de gentes; mas su postrimería perecerá para siempre.

And when he looked on Amalek, he took up his parable, and said, Amalek was the first of the nations; but his latter end shall be that he perish for ever.

He looked at Amalek, and took up his parable, and said, “Amalek was the first of the nations, but his latter end shall come to destruction.”
