Moisés hizo exactamente lo que Yahvé le ordenó. Tomó a Josué y lo presentó ante el sacerdote Eleazar y ante toda la comunidad.

Y Moisés hizo como Jehová le había mandado; que tomó á Josué, y le puso delante de Eleazar el sacerdote, y de toda la congregación:

And Moses did as the LORD commanded him: and he took Joshua, and set him before Eleazar the priest, and before all the congregation:
