1Moisés falou aos chefes das tribos dos filhos de Israel, dizendo: “Isto é o que o SENHOR ordenou.
2Quando um homem fizer um voto ao SENHOR, ou prestar um juramento para assumir uma obrigação, ele não quebrará a sua palavra. Ele fará segundo tudo o que sair da sua boca.
3“Também, quando uma mulher fizer um voto ao SENHOR e assumir uma obrigação, estando na casa de seu pai, na sua juventude,
4e seu pai ouvir o seu voto e a obrigação que ela assumiu, e seu pai não lhe disser nada, então todos os seus votos serão válidos, e toda obrigação que ela assumiu será válida.
5Mas se o seu pai a proibir no dia em que ouvir, nenhum dos seus votos ou das obrigações que ela assumiu será válido. O SENHOR a perdoará, porque o seu pai a proibiu.
6“Se ela se casar, estando sob os seus votos, ou sob uma promessa precipitada de seus lábios com a qual ela se comprometeu,
7e o seu marido ouvir isso, e não lhe disser nada no dia em que ouvir; então os seus votos serão válidos, e as obrigações que ela assumiu serão válidas.
8Mas se o seu marido a proibir no dia em que ouvir isso, então ele anula o seu voto que está sobre ela e a promessa precipitada de seus lábios, com a qual ela se comprometeu. O SENHOR a perdoará.
9“Mas o voto de uma viúva, ou de uma mulher divorciada, tudo com o que ela se comprometeu será válido contra ela.
10“Se ela fez um voto na casa de seu marido ou assumiu uma obrigação com um juramento,
11e o seu marido ouviu isso, guardou silêncio e não a proibiu, então todos os seus votos serão válidos, e toda obrigação que ela assumiu será válida.
12Mas se o seu marido os anulou por completo no dia em que os ouviu, então tudo o que saiu dos seus lábios a respeito dos seus votos, ou a respeito da obrigação que assumiu, não será válido. O seu marido os anulou. O SENHOR a perdoará.
13Todo voto, e todo juramento de compromisso para afligir a alma, o seu marido pode confirmar, ou o seu marido pode anular.
14Mas se o seu marido não lhe disser nada dia após dia, então ele confirma todos os seus votos ou todas as suas obrigações que estão sobre ela. Ele os confirmou, porque não lhe disse nada no dia em que os ouviu.
15Mas se ele os anular por completo depois de tê-los ouvido, então ele levará a iniquidade dela.”
16Estes são os estatutos que o SENHOR ordenou a Moisés, entre um homem e sua mulher, entre um pai e sua filha, estando na sua juventude, na casa de seu pai.

1Y MOISÉS dijo á los hijos de Israel, conforme á todo lo que Jehová le había mandado.
2Y habló Moisés á los príncipes de las tribus de los hijos de Israel, diciendo: Esto es lo que Jehová ha mandado.
3Cuando alguno hiciere voto á Jehová, ó hiciere juramento ligando su alma con obligación, no violará su palabra: hará conforme á todo lo que salió de su boca.
4Mas la mujer, cuando hiciere voto á Jehová, y se ligare con obligación en casa de su padre, en su mocedad;
5Si su padre oyere su voto, y la obligación con que ligó su alma, y su padre callare á ello, todos los votos de ella serán firmes, y toda obligación con que hubiere ligado su alma, firme será.
6Mas si su padre le vedare el día que oyere todos sus votos y sus obligaciones, con que ella hubiere ligado su alma, no serán firmes; y Jehová la perdonará, por cuanto su padre le vedó.
7Empero si fuere casada, é hiciere votos, ó pronunciare de sus labios cosa con que obligue su alma;
8Si su marido lo oyere, y cuando lo oyere callare á ello, los votos de ella serán firmes, y la obligación con que ligó su alma, firme será.
9Pero si cuando su marido lo oyó, le vedó, entonces el voto que ella hizo, y lo que pronunció de sus labios con que ligó su alma, será nulo; y Jehová lo perdonará.
10Mas todo voto de viuda, ó repudiada, con que ligare su alma, será firme.
11Y si hubiere hecho voto en casa de su marido, y hubiere ligado su alma con obligación de juramento,
12Si su marido oyó, y calló á ello, y no le vedó; entonces todos sus votos serán firmes, y toda obligación con que hubiere ligado su alma, firme será.
13Mas si su marido los anuló el día que los oyó; todo lo que salió de sus labios cuanto á sus votos, y cuanto á la obligación de su alma, será nulo; su marido los anuló, y Jehová la perdonará.
14Todo voto, ó todo juramento obligándose á afligir el alma, su marido lo confirmará, ó su marido lo anulará.
15Empero si su marido callare á ello de día en día, entonces confirmó todos sus votos, y todas las obligaciones que están sobre ella: confirmólas, por cuanto calló á ello el día que lo oyó.
16Mas si las anulare después de haberlas oído, entonces él llevará el pecado de ella. Estas son las ordenanzas que Jehová mandó á Moisés entre el varón y su mujer, entre el padre y su hija, durante su mocedad en casa de su padre.

1And Moses spake unto the heads of the tribes concerning the children of Israel, saying, This is the thing which the LORD hath commanded.
2If a man vow a vow unto the LORD, or swear an oath to bind his soul with a bond; he shall not break his word, he shall do according to all that proceedeth out of his mouth.
3If a woman also vow a vow unto the LORD, and bind herself by a bond, being in her father’s house in her youth;
4And her father hear her vow, and her bond wherewith she hath bound her soul, and her father shall hold his peace at her: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she hath bound her soul shall stand.
5But if her father disallow her in the day that he heareth; not any of her vows, or of her bonds wherewith she hath bound her soul, shall stand: and the LORD shall forgive her, because her father disallowed her.
6And if she had at all an husband, when she vowed, or uttered ought out of her lips, wherewith she bound her soul;
7And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her in the day that he heard it: then her vows shall stand, and her bonds wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
8But if her husband disallowed her on the day that he heard it; then he shall make her vow which she vowed, and that which she uttered with her lips, wherewith she bound her soul, of none effect: and the LORD shall forgive her.
9But every vow of a widow, and of her that is divorced, wherewith they have bound their souls, shall stand against her.
10And if she vowed in her husband’s house, or bound her soul by a bond with an oath;
11And her husband heard it, and held his peace at her, and disallowed her not: then all her vows shall stand, and every bond wherewith she bound her soul shall stand.
12But if her husband hath utterly made them void on the day he heard them; then whatsoever proceeded out of her lips concerning her vows, or concerning the bond of her soul, shall not stand: her husband hath made them void; and the LORD shall forgive her.
13Every vow, and every binding oath to afflict the soul, her husband may establish it, or her husband may make it void.
14But if her husband altogether hold his peace at her from day to day; then he establisheth all her vows, or all her bonds, which are upon her: he confirmeth them, because he held his peace at her in the day that he heard them.
15But if he shall any ways make them void after that he hath heard them; then he shall bear her iniquity.
16These are the statutes, which the LORD commanded Moses, between a man and his wife, between the father and his daughter, being yet in her youth in her father’s house.

1Moses spoke to the heads of the tribes of the children of Israel, saying, “This is the thing which the LORD has commanded.
2When a man vows a vow to the LORD, or swears an oath to bind his soul with a bond, he shall not break his word. He shall do according to all that proceeds out of his mouth.
3“Also, when a woman vows a vow to the LORD and binds herself by a pledge, being in her father’s house, in her youth,
4and her father hears her vow and her pledge with which she has bound her soul, and her father says nothing to her, then all her vows shall stand, and every pledge with which she has bound her soul shall stand.
5But if her father forbids her in the day that he hears, none of her vows or of her pledges with which she has bound her soul, shall stand. The LORD will forgive her, because her father has forbidden her.
6“If she has a husband, while her vows are on her, or the rash utterance of her lips with which she has bound her soul,
7and her husband hears it, and says nothing to her in the day that he hears it; then her vows shall stand, and her pledges with which she has bound her soul shall stand.
8But if her husband forbids her in the day that he hears it, then he makes void her vow which is on her and the rash utterance of her lips, with which she has bound her soul. The LORD will forgive her.
9“But the vow of a widow, or of her who is divorced, everything with which she has bound her soul shall stand against her.
10“If she vowed in her husband’s house or bound her soul by a bond with an oath,
11and her husband heard it, and held his peace at her and didn’t disallow her, then all her vows shall stand, and every pledge with which she bound her soul shall stand.
