Yahweh falou a Moisés, dizendo:

Y JEHOVÁ habló á Moisés, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

"Vinga o povo de Israel contra os midianitas. Após isso, morrerás e te reunirás ao teu povo".

Haz la venganza de los hijos de Israel sobre los Madianitas; después serás recogido á tus pueblos.

Avenge the children of Israel of the Midianites: afterward shalt thou be gathered unto thy people.

“Avenge the children of Israel on the Midianites. Afterward you shall be gathered to your people.”

Então Moisés falou ao povo, dizendo: "Armai alguns de vossos homens para que saiam contra Midiã e executem a vingança de Yahweh.

Entonces Moisés habló al pueblo, diciendo: Armaos algunos de vosotros para la guerra, é irán contra Madián, y harán la venganza de Jehová en Madián.

And Moses spake unto the people, saying, Arm some of yourselves unto the war, and let them go against the Midianites, and avenge the LORD of Midian.

Moses spoke to the people, saying, “Arm men from among you for war, that they may go against Midian, to execute the LORD’s vengeance on Midian.

Toda tribo dentro de Israel enviará mil soldados à guerra".

Mil de cada tribu de todas las tribus de los hijos de Israel, enviaréis á la guerra.

Of every tribe a thousand, throughout all the tribes of Israel, shall ye send to the war.

You shall send one thousand out of every tribe, throughout all the tribes of Israel, to the war.”

Assim, dentre os milhares e milhares de homens de Israel, foram fornecidos mil de cada tribo para a guerra. Doze mil homens ao todo.

Así fueron dados de los millares de Israel, mil por cada tribu, doce mil á punto de guerra.

So there were delivered out of the thousands of Israel, a thousand of every tribe, twelve thousand armed for war.

Então, Moisés os enviou para a batalha, mil de cada tribo, juntamente com Fineias, filho do sacerdote Eleazar, com alguns utensílios do Lugar Santo e trombetas em sua posse, para soar os alarmes.

Y Moisés los envió á la guerra: mil de cada tribu envió: y Phinees, hijo de Eleazar sacerdote, fué á la guerra con los santos instrumentos, con las trompetas en su mano para tocar.

And Moses sent them to the war, a thousand of every tribe, them and Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest, to the war, with the holy instruments, and the trumpets to blow in his hand.

Guerrearam contra Midiã, como Yahweh havia ordenado a Moisés. Mataram todos os homens.

Y pelearon contra Madián, como Jehová lo mandó á Moisés, y mataron á todo varón.

And they warred against the Midianites, as the LORD commanded Moses; and they slew all the males.

They fought against Midian, as the LORD commanded Moses. They killed every male.

Juntamente com os outros mortos, mataram os reis de Midiã, Evi, Requém, Zur, Hur e Reba, os cinco reis de Midiã. Também mataram Balaão, filho de Beor, pela espada.

Mataron también, entre los muertos de ellos, á los reyes de Madián: Evi, y Recem, y Zur, y Hur, y Reba, cinco reyes de Madián: á Balaam también, hijo de Beor, mataron á cuchillo.

And they slew the kings of Midian, beside the rest of them that were slain; namely, Evi, and Rekem, and Zur, and Hur, and Reba, five kings of Midian: Balaam also the son of Beor they slew with the sword.

They killed the kings of Midian with the rest of their slain: Evi, Rekem, Zur, Hur, and Reba, the five kings of Midian. They also killed Balaam the son of Beor with the sword.

Os exércitos de Israel capturaram as mulheres de Midiã, suas crianças, todo o gado, rebanho e todos os seus bens. Levaram isso como despojos.

Y llevaron cautivas los hijos de Israel las mujeres de los Madianitas, y sus chiquitos y todas sus bestias, y todos sus ganados; y arrebataron toda su hacienda.

And the children of Israel took all the women of Midian captives, and their little ones, and took the spoil of all their cattle, and all their flocks, and all their goods.

Queimaram todas as suas cidades onde viviam, e todos os seus acampamentos.

Y abrasaron con fuego todas sus ciudades, aldeas y castillos.

And they burnt all their cities wherein they dwelt, and all their goodly castles, with fire.

All their cities in the places in which they lived, and all their encampments, they burned with fire.

Levaram como despojos e prisioneiros, tanto as pessoas como os animais.

Y tomaron todo el despojo, y toda la presa, así de hombres como de bestias.

And they took all the spoil, and all the prey, both of men and of beasts.

They took all the captives, and all the plunder, both of man and of animal.

Trouxeram os prisioneiros e os despojos, as coisas capturadas a Moisés, ao sacerdote Eleazar e à comunidade do povo de Israel. Trouxeram isso ao acampamento na planície de Moabe, ao lado do Jordão, próximo a Jericó.

Y trajeron á Moisés, y á Eleazar el sacerdote, y á la congregación de los hijos de Israel, los cautivos y la presa y los despojos, al campo en los llanos de Moab, que están junto al Jordán de Jericó.

And they brought the captives, and the prey, and the spoil, unto Moses, and Eleazar the priest, and unto the congregation of the children of Israel, unto the camp at the plains of Moab, which are by Jordan near Jericho.

Moisés, o sacerdote Eleazar e todos os líderes da comunidade foram ao encontro deles fora do acampamento.

Mas Moisés estava irado com os oficiais do exército, os comandantes dos mil e os capitães de cem, que vieram da batalha.

And Moses was wroth with the officers of the host, with the captains over thousands, and captains over hundreds, which came from the battle.

Vede, essas foram as mulheres que, por conselho de Balaão, fizeram com que o povo de Israel pecasse contra Yahweh no caso de Peor, quando a praga se espalhou entre a comunidade de Yahweh.

He aquí ellas fueron á los hijos de Israel, por consejo de Balaam, para causar prevaricación contra Jehová en el negocio de Peor; por lo que hubo mortandad en la congregación de Jehová.

Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass against the LORD in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of the LORD.

Agora, matai todos os meninos entre as crianças, e todas as mulheres que já dormiram com algum homem.

Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.

Mas tomai para si todas a moças que nunca dormiram com um homem.

Y todas las niñas entre las mujeres, que no hayan conocido ayuntamiento de varón, os reservaréis vivas.

Acampai do lado de fora do acampamento de Israel durante sete dias. Todos aqueles dentre vós que mataram alguém ou tocaram algum morto, deverão se purificar no terceiro dia e no sétimo dia, vós e vossos prisioneiros.

Y vosotros quedaos fuera del campo siete días: y todos los que hubieren matado persona, y cualquiera que hubiere tocado muerto, os purificaréis al tercero y al séptimo día, vosotros y vuestros cautivos.

And do ye abide without the camp seven days: whosoever hath killed any person, and whosoever hath touched any slain, purify both yourselves and your captives on the third day, and on the seventh day.

“Encamp outside of the camp for seven days. Whoever has killed any person, and whoever has touched any slain, purify yourselves on the third day and on the seventh day, you and your captives.

Purificai todo vestuário, tudo feito de couro de animal, pelo de bode e tudo que é feito de madeira".

Asimismo purificaréis todo vestido, y toda prenda de pieles, y toda obra de pelos de cabra, y todo vaso de madera.

And purify all your raiment, and all that is made of skins, and all work of goats’ hair, and all things made of wood.

You shall purify every garment, and all that is made of skin, and all work of goats’ hair, and all things made of wood.”

O sacerdote Eleazar disse aos soldados que foram para a guerra: "Esta é a lei decretada que Yahweh deu a Moisés:

Y Eleazar el sacerdote dijo á los hombres de guerra que venían de la guerra: Esta es la ordenanza de la ley que Jehová ha mandado á Moisés:

And Eleazar the priest said unto the men of war which went to the battle, This is the ordinance of the law which the LORD commanded Moses;

o ouro, a prata, o bronze, o ferro, o latão e o chumbo,

Ciertamente el oro, y la plata, metal, hierro, estaño, y plomo,

Only the gold, and the silver, the brass, the iron, the tin, and the lead,

e tudo que for resistente ao fogo, deverão passar pelo fogo. Então estarão puros. Depois, purificareis essas coisas com a água da purificação. Tudo aquilo que não puder ser passado pelo fogo deverá ser limpo com aquela água.

Todo lo que resiste el fuego, por fuego lo haréis pasar, y será limpio, bien que en las aguas de purificación habrá de purificarse: mas haréis pasar por agua todo lo que no aguanta el fuego.

Every thing that may abide the fire, ye shall make it go through the fire, and it shall be clean: nevertheless it shall be purified with the water of separation: and all that abideth not the fire ye shall make go through the water.

Lavareis as vossas vestes no sétimo dia, e então ficareis limpos. Depois, podereis entrar no acampamento de Israel".

Además lavaréis vuestros vestidos el séptimo día, y así seréis limpios; y después entraréis en el campo.

And ye shall wash your clothes on the seventh day, and ye shall be clean, and afterward ye shall come into the camp.

Então, Yahweh falou a Moisés dizendo:

"Conta todos os despojos tomados, tanto de pessoas quanto de animais. Tu, com o sacerdote Eleazar, e os líderes da comunidade dos clãs dos antepassados

Toma la cuenta de la presa que se ha hecho, así de las personas como de las bestias, tú y el sacerdote Eleazar, y las cabezas de los padres de la congregación:

Take the sum of the prey that was taken, both of man and of beast, thou, and Eleazar the priest, and the chief fathers of the congregation:

“Count the plunder that was taken, both of man and of animal, you, and Eleazar the priest, and the heads of the fathers’ households of the congregation;

dividireis os despojos em duas partes, entre os soldados que saíram para a batalha, e todo o resto da comunidade.

Y partirás por mitad la presa entre los que pelearon, los que salieron á la guerra, y toda la congregación.

And divide the prey into two parts; between them that took the war upon them, who went out to battle, and between all the congregation:

and divide the plunder into two parts: between the men skilled in war, who went out to battle, and all the congregation.

Dos soldados que foram para a batalha, coleta um tributo a ser dado a Mim. Este tributo será um a cada quinhentos, dentre pessoas, gado, jumentos, ovelhas, ou bodes.

Y apartarás para Jehová el tributo de los hombres de guerra, que salieron á la guerra: de quinientos uno, así de las personas como de los bueyes, de los asnos, y de las ovejas:

And levy a tribute unto the LORD of the men of war which went out to battle: one soul of five hundred, both of the persons, and of the beeves, and of the asses, and of the sheep:

Coleta este tributo da metade deles e o entrega ao sacerdote Eleazar, como uma oferta para ser apresentada a Mim.

De la mitad de ellos lo tomarás; y darás á Eleazar el sacerdote la ofrenda de Jehová.

Take it of their half, and give it unto Eleazar the priest, for an heave offering of the LORD.

Também da metade do povo de Israel, tu separarás um de cada cinquenta, dentre pessoas, gado, jumento, ovelhas, e bodes. Entrega-os aos levitas que cuidam do meu Tabernáculo".

Y de la mitad perteneciente á los hijos de Israel tomarás uno de cincuenta, de las personas, de los bueyes, de los asnos, y de las ovejas, de todo animal; y los darás á los Levitas, que tienen la guarda del tabernáculo de Jehová.

And of the children of Israel’s half, thou shalt take one portion of fifty, of the persons, of the beeves, of the asses, and of the flocks, of all manner of beasts, and give them unto the Levites, which keep the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD.

Of the children of Israel’s half, you shall take one drawn out of every fifty, of the persons, of the cattle, of the donkeys, and of the flocks, of all the livestock, and give them to the Levites, who perform the duty of the LORD’s tabernacle.”

Então, Moisés e o sacerdote Eleazar fizeram como Yahweh havia ordenado a Moisés.

Os despojos que restaram do que os soldados tomaram foram seiscentos e setenta e cinco mil ovelhas,

Y fué la presa, el resto de la presa que tomaron los hombres de guerra, seiscientas y setenta y cinco mil ovejas,

And the booty, being the rest of the prey which the men of war had caught, was six hundred thousand and seventy thousand and five thousand sheep,

Now the plunder, over and above the booty which the men of war took, was six hundred seventy-five thousand sheep,

setenta e dois mil bois,

And threescore and twelve thousand beeves,

seventy-two thousand head of cattle,

sessenta e um mil jumentos,

Y setenta y un mil asnos;

And threescore and one thousand asses,

sixty-one thousand donkeys,

e trinta e duas mil mulheres que nunca dormiram com homem algum.

Y en cuanto á personas, de mujeres que no habían conocido ayuntamiento de varón, en todas treinta y dos mil.

And thirty and two thousand persons in all, of women that had not known man by lying with him.

A metade que foi mantida com os soldados era em número de trezentos e trinta e sete mil ovelhas.

Y la mitad, la parte de los que habían salido á la guerra, fué el número de trescientas treinta y siete mil y quinientas ovejas.

And the half, which was the portion of them that went out to war, was in number three hundred thousand and seven and thirty thousand and five hundred sheep:

A parte de Yahweh dentre as ovelhas foi seiscentos e setenta e cinco.

Y el tributo para Jehová de las ovejas, fué seiscientas setenta y cinco.

And the LORD’s tribute of the sheep was six hundred and threescore and fifteen.

Os bois eram trinta e seis mil, dos quais o tributo a Yahweh foi setenta e dois.

Y de los bueyes, treinta y seis mil: y de ellos el tributo para Jehová, setenta y dos.

And the beeves were thirty and six thousand; of which the LORD’s tribute was threescore and twelve.

Os jumentos eram trinta mil e quinhentos, dos quais a parte a Yahweh foi sessenta e um.

Y de los asnos, treinta mil y quinientos: y de ellos el tributo para Jehová, setenta y uno.

And the asses were thirty thousand and five hundred; of which the LORD’s tribute was threescore and one.

The donkeys were thirty thousand five hundred, of which the LORD’s tribute was sixty-one.

As pessoas eram dezesseis mil mulheres, das quais o tributo a Yahweh foi trinta e duas pessoas.

Y de las personas, diez y seis mil: y de ellas el tributo para Jehová, treinta y dos personas.

And the persons were sixteen thousand; of which the LORD’s tribute was thirty and two persons.

Moisés tomou o tributo para ser uma oferta apresentada a Yahweh. Ele a entregou ao sacerdote Eleazar, como Yahweh ordenara Moisés.

Y dió Moisés el tributo, por elevada ofrenda á Jehová, á Eleazar el sacerdote, como Jehová lo mandó á Moisés.

And Moses gave the tribute, which was the LORD’s heave offering, unto Eleazar the priest, as the LORD commanded Moses.

Quanto à metade do povo de Israel que Moisés havia tomado dos soldados que tinham ido para a guerra:

Y de la mitad para los hijos de Israel, que apartó Moisés de los hombres que habían ido á la guerra;

And of the children of Israel’s half, which Moses divided from the men that warred,

a metade da comunidade era de trezentas e trinta e sete mil e quinhentas ovelhas,

(La mitad para la congregación fué: de las ovejas, trescientas treinta y siete mil y quinientas;

(Now the half that pertained unto the congregation was three hundred thousand and thirty thousand and seven thousand and five hundred sheep,

(now the congregation’s half was three hundred thirty-seven thousand five hundred sheep,

trinta e seis mil bois,

Y de los bueyes, treinta y seis mil;

And thirty and six thousand beeves,

thirty-six thousand head of cattle,

trinta mil e quinhentos jumentos,

e dezesseis mil mulheres.

Da metade do povo de Israel, Moisés tomou um de cada cinquenta, tanto de pessoas quanto de animais. Ele os entregou aos levitas que cuidavam do tabernáculo de Yahweh, assim como Yahweh lhe ordenara.

De la mitad, pues, para los hijos de Israel tomó Moisés uno de cada cincuenta, así de las personas como de los animales, y diólos á los Levitas, que tenían la guarda del tabernáculo de Jehová; como Jehová lo había mandado á Moisés.

Even of the children of Israel’s half, Moses took one portion of fifty, both of man and of beast, and gave them unto the Levites, which kept the charge of the tabernacle of the LORD; as the LORD commanded Moses.

Então os oficiais do exército, os comandantes de mil, e os capitães de cem, vieram a Moisés,

Y llegaron á Moisés los jefes de los millares de aquel ejército, los tribunos y centuriones;

And the officers which were over thousands of the host, the captains of thousands, and captains of hundreds, came near unto Moses:

The officers who were over the thousands of the army, the captains of thousands, and the captains of hundreds, came near to Moses.

e disseram-lhe: "Os teus servos contaram os soldados que estavam sob o nosso comando, e nenhum homem falta.

Y dijeron á Moisés: Tus siervos han tomado razón de los hombres de guerra que están en nuestro poder, y ninguno ha faltado de nosotros.

And they said unto Moses, Thy servants have taken the sum of the men of war which are under our charge, and there lacketh not one man of us.

They said to Moses, “Your servants have taken the sum of the men of war who are under our command, and there lacks not one man of us.

Trouxemos a oferta para Yahweh, o que cada homem achou, artigos de ouro, pulseiras e braceletes, anéis, brincos e colares, para fazer expiação por nós diante de Yahweh".

Por lo cual hemos ofrecido á Jehová ofrenda, cada uno de lo que ha hallado, vasos de oro, brazaletes, manillas, anillos, zarcillos, y cadenas, para hacer expiación por nuestras almas delante de Jehová.

We have therefore brought an oblation for the LORD, what every man hath gotten, of jewels of gold, chains, and bracelets, rings, earrings, and tablets, to make an atonement for our souls before the LORD.

We have brought the LORD’s offering, what every man found: gold ornaments, armlets, bracelets, signet rings, earrings, and necklaces, to make atonement for our souls before the LORD.”

Moisés e o sacerdote Eleazar receberam deles o ouro e todos os artigos trabalhados.

Y Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar recibieron el oro de ellos, alhajas, todas elaboradas.

And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of them, even all wrought jewels.

Todo o ouro da oferta que deram a Yahweh - as ofertas dos comandantes de mil e dos capitães de cem - pesava dezesseis mil setecentos e cinquenta siclos.

Y todo el oro de la ofrenda que ofrecieron á Jehová de los tribunos y centuriones, fué diez y seis mil setecientos y cincuenta siclos.

And all the gold of the offering that they offered up to the LORD, of the captains of thousands, and of the captains of hundreds, was sixteen thousand seven hundred and fifty shekels.

Cada soldado tomou despojo, cada homem para si mesmo.

Los hombres del ejército habían pillado cada uno para sí.

(For the men of war had taken spoil, every man for himself.)

Moisés e o sacerdote Eleazar tomou o ouro dos comandantes de mil e dos capitães de cem. Eles o levaram para a Tenda do Encontro, como memorial do povo de Israel para Yahweh.

Recibieron, pues, Moisés y el sacerdote Eleazar, el oro de los tribunos y centuriones, y trajéronlo al tabernáculo del testimonio, por memoria de los hijos de Israel delante de Jehová.

And Moses and Eleazar the priest took the gold of the captains of thousands and of hundreds, and brought it into the tabernacle of the congregation, for a memorial for the children of Israel before the LORD.
