Y LOS hijos de Rubén y los hijos de Gad tenían una muy grande muchedumbre de ganado; los cuales viendo la tierra de Jazer y de Galaad, parecióles el país lugar de ganado.

estas terras que Yahweh conquistou perante a comunidade de Israel, são propícias para o gado. Nós, teus servos, temos uma grande quantidade de gado".
La tierra que Jehová hirió delante de la congregación de Israel, es tierra de ganado, y tus siervos tienen ganado.
Even the country which the LORD smote before the congregation of Israel, is a land for cattle, and thy servants have cattle:
the land which the LORD struck before the congregation of Israel, is a land for livestock; and your servants have livestock.”
Disseram: "Se nós encontramos favor aos teus olhos, permitas que estas terras sejam entregues a vossos servos, como posse. Não nos façais atravessar o Jordão".
Por tanto, dijeron, si hallamos gracia en tus ojos, dése esta tierra á tus siervos en heredad, y no nos hagas pasar el Jordán.
Wherefore, said they, if we have found grace in thy sight, let this land be given unto thy servants for a possession, and bring us not over Jordan.
They said, “If we have found favor in your sight, let this land be given to your servants for a possession. Don’t bring us over the Jordan.”
Moisés respondeu aos descendentes de Gade e Rúben: "Deveriam teus irmãos irem à guerra enquanto vos estabeleceis aqui?
Y respondió Moisés á los hijos de Gad y á los hijos de Rubén: ¿Vendrán vuestros hermanos á la guerra, y vosotros os quedaréis aquí?

Vossos pais fizeram a mesma coisa quando os enviei de Cades-Barneia para examinar a terra.

Quando eles foram até o vale de Escol e viram a terra, desencorajaram o coração do povo de Israel para que não entrasse na terra que Yahweh lhes havia dado.

'Certamente, nenhum dos homens que saíram do Egito, com vinte anos para cima verá a terra que Eu jurei a Abraão, a Isaque e a Jacó, porque eles não Me seguiram fielmente.

Então, a ira de Yahweh se acendeu contra Israel. Ele os fez peregrinar errantes pelo deserto por quarenta anos, até que toda aquela geração que havia cometido o mal aos Seus olhos fosse destruída.
Y el furor de Jehová se encendió en Israel, é hízolos andar errantes cuarenta años por el desierto, hasta que fué acabada toda aquella generación, que había hecho mal delante de Jehová.
And the LORD’s anger was kindled against Israel, and he made them wander in the wilderness forty years, until all the generation, that had done evil in the sight of the LORD, was consumed.

Agora, levantastes no lugar de vossos pais, como uma geração de homens pecadores para aumentar ainda mais a ardente ira de Yahweh contra Israel.

And, behold, ye are risen up in your fathers’ stead, an increase of sinful men, to augment yet the fierce anger of the LORD toward Israel.

Se vós deixardes de segui-Lo, Ele novamente abandonará Israel no deserto e vós sereis o motivo da destruição de todo este povo".

Então, eles se aproximaram de Moisés e disseram: "Permita-nos construir currais para nosso gado e cidades para nossas famílias.
Entonces ellos se llegaron á él y dijeron: Edificaremos aquí majadas para nuestro ganado, y ciudades para nuestros niños;
And they came near unto him, and said, We will build sheepfolds here for our cattle, and cities for our little ones:

Porém, nós nos armaremos e iremos com o exército de Israel até o deixarmos em seu lugar. Mas nossas famílias viverão nas cidades fortificadas, devido aos habitantes que ainda residem nesta terra.
Y nosotros nos armaremos, é iremos con diligencia delante de los hijos de Israel, hasta que los metamos en su lugar: y nuestros niños quedarán en ciudades fuertes á causa de los moradores del país.
But we ourselves will go ready armed before the children of Israel, until we have brought them unto their place: and our little ones shall dwell in the fenced cities because of the inhabitants of the land.

Nós não retornaremos às nossas casas até que cada homem do povo de Israel tenha obtido a sua herança.

For we will not inherit with them on yonder side Jordan, or forward; because our inheritance is fallen to us on this side Jordan eastward.

Então, Moisés respondeu-lhes: "Se vós fizerdes o que dizeis, se vos armardes para a guerra perante Yahweh
Entonces les respondió Moisés: Si lo hiciereis así, si os apercibiereis para ir delante de Jehová á la guerra,
And Moses said unto them, If ye will do this thing, if ye will go armed before the LORD to war,
Moses said to them: “If you will do this thing, if you will arm yourselves to go before the LORD to the war,
e cada um de vós atravessardes o Jordão, armados perante Yahweh, até que Ele tenha removido todos os Seus inimigos diante de Si,
Y pasareis todos vosotros armados el Jordán delante de Jehová, hasta que haya echado á sus enemigos de delante de sí,
And will go all of you armed over Jordan before the LORD, until he hath driven out his enemies from before him,
and every one of your armed men will pass over the Jordan before the LORD until he has driven out his enemies from before him,
e a terra esteja submetida a Yahweh, só então podereis voltar. E vós estareis sem culpa perante Yahweh e Israel. Esta terra será vossa perante Yahweh.
Y sea el país sojuzgado delante de Jehová; luego volveréis, y seréis libres de culpa para con Jehová, y para con Israel; y esta tierra será vuestra en heredad delante de Jehová.

Entretanto, se não fizerdes isso, pecareis contra Yahweh. Estai certos de que vosso pecado vos achará.

Edificai cidades para vossas famílias e currais para as vossas ovelhas e fazei aquilo que prometestes".

Os descendentes de Gade e de Rúben disseram a Moisés: "Teus servos farão o que tu, nosso senhor, ordena.
Y hablaron los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén á Moisés, diciendo: Tus siervos harán como mi señor ha mandado.
And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben spake unto Moses, saying, Thy servants will do as my lord commandeth.

Nossas crianças, nossas mulheres, nossos rebanhos e todo nosso gado permanecerão nas cidades de Gileade.
Nuestros niños, nuestras mujeres, nuestros ganados, y todas nuestras bestias, estarán ahí en las ciudades de Galaad;
Our little ones, our wives, our flocks, and all our cattle, shall be there in the cities of Gilead:

Porém, nós, teus servos, atravessaremos perante Yahweh para a batalha; todo homem que estiver preparado para a guerra, como tu, nosso senhor, dizes".
Y tus siervos, armados todos de guerra, pasarán delante de Jehová á la guerra, de la manera que mi señor dice.
But thy servants will pass over, every man armed for war, before the LORD to battle, as my lord saith.

Então, Moisés deu instruções a respeito deles ao sacerdote Eleazar, e Josué, filho de Num, e também aos líderes dos clãs de seus antepassados das tribos do povo de Israel.
Entonces los encomendó Moisés á Eleazar el sacerdote, y á Josué hijo de Nun, y á los príncipes de los padres de las tribus de los hijos de Israel.
So concerning them Moses commanded Eleazar the priest, and Joshua the son of Nun, and the chief fathers of the tribes of the children of Israel:

Moisés lhes disse: "Se os descendentes de Gade e Rúben atravessarem o Jordão convosco, todo homem armado para a guerra perante Yahweh, e, se a terra estiver subjugada, então, lhes darei a terra de Gileade como posse.
Y díjoles Moisés: Si los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén, pasaren con vosotros el Jordán, armados todos de guerra delante de Jehová, luego que el país fuere sojuzgado delante de vosotros, les daréis la tierra de Galaad en posesión:
And Moses said unto them, If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over Jordan, every man armed to battle, before the LORD, and the land shall be subdued before you; then ye shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession:
Moses said to them, “If the children of Gad and the children of Reuben will pass with you over the Jordan, every man who is armed to battle before the LORD, and the land is subdued before you, then you shall give them the land of Gilead for a possession;
Porém, se não atravessarem o Jordão armados convosco, então, adquirirão suas posse entre vós na terra de Canaã".
Mas si no pasaren armados con vosotros, entonces tendrán posesión entre vosotros en la tierra de Canaán.

Os descendentes de Gade e Rúben responderam: "Conforme o que Yahweh nos disse, nós o faremos.
Y los hijos de Gad y los hijos de Rubén respondieron, diciendo: Haremos lo que Jehová ha dicho á tus siervos.
And the children of Gad and the children of Reuben answered, saying, As the LORD hath said unto thy servants, so will we do.

Nós atravessaremos o Jordão perante Yahweh para a terra de Canaã, mas a nossa herança será deste lado do Jordão".
Nosotros pasaremos armados delante de Jehová á la tierra de Canaán, y la posesión de nuestra heredad será de esta parte del Jordán.
We will pass over armed before the LORD into the land of Canaan, that the possession of our inheritance on this side Jordan may be ours.

Assim, aos descendentes de Gade e de Rúben e à metade da tribo de Manassés, filho de José, Moisés entregou o reino de Siom, o reino dos amorreus e o reino de Ogue, rei de Basã. Ele lhes entregou a terra, e distribuiu todas as suas cidades, suas fronteiras e as cidades ao redor deles.
Así les dió Moisés á los hijos de Gad y á los hijos de Rubén, y á la media tribu de Manasés hijo de José, el reino de Sehón rey Amorrheo, y el reino de Og rey de Basán, la tierra con sus ciudades y términos, las ciudades del país alrededor.
And Moses gave unto them, even to the children of Gad, and to the children of Reuben, and unto half the tribe of Manasseh the son of Joseph, the kingdom of Sihon king of the Amorites, and the kingdom of Og king of Bashan, the land, with the cities thereof in the coasts, even the cities of the country round about.

Nebo, Baal-Meom (seus nomes foram posteriormente alterados) e Sibma. Eles deram outros nomes para as cidades que construíram.
