L’Eterno parlò ancora a Mosè nelle pianure di Moab presso il Giordano, di faccia a Gerico, dicendo:

Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés en los campos de Moab, junto al Jordán de Jericó, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses in the plains of Moab by Jordan near Jericho, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses in the plains of Moab by the Jordan at Jericho, saying,

“Ordina ai figliuoli d’Israele che, della eredità che possederanno diano ai Leviti delle città da abitare; darete pure ai Leviti il contado ch’è intorno alle città.

Manda á los hijos de Israel, que den á los Levitas de la posesión de su heredad ciudades en que habiten: también daréis á los Levitas los ejidos de esas ciudades alrededor de ellas.

Command the children of Israel, that they give unto the Levites of the inheritance of their possession cities to dwell in; and ye shall give also unto the Levites suburbs for the cities round about them.

“Command the children of Israel to give to the Levites cities to dwell in out of their inheritance. You shall give pasture lands for the cities around them to the Levites.

Ed essi avranno le città pel abitarvi; e il contado servirà per i loro bestiami, per i loro beni e per tutti i loro animali.

Y tendrán ellos las ciudades para habitar, y los ejidos de ellas serán para sus animales, y para sus ganados, y para todas sus bestias.

And the cities shall they have to dwell in; and the suburbs of them shall be for their cattle, and for their goods, and for all their beasts.

They shall have the cities to dwell in. Their pasture lands shall be for their livestock, and for their possessions, and for all their animals.

Il contado delle città che darete ai Leviti si estenderà fuori per lo spazio di mille cubiti dalle mura della città, tutt’intorno.

Y los ejidos de las ciudades que daréis á los Levitas, serán mil codos alrededor, desde el muro de la ciudad para afuera.

And the suburbs of the cities, which ye shall give unto the Levites, shall reach from the wall of the city and outward a thousand cubits round about.

“The pasture lands of the cities, which you shall give to the Levites, shall be from the wall of the city and outward one thousand cubits around it.

Misurerete dunque, fuori della città, duemila cubiti dal lato orientale, duemila cubiti dal lato meridionale, duemila cubiti dal lato occidentale e duemila cubiti dal lato settentrionale; la città sarà in mezzo. Tale sarà il contado di ciascuna delle loro città.

Luego mediréis fuera de la ciudad á la parte del oriente dos mil codos, y á la parte del mediodía dos mil codos, y á la parte del occidente dos mil codos, y á la parte del norte dos mil codos, y la ciudad en medio: esto tendrán por los ejidos de las ciudades.

And ye shall measure from without the city on the east side two thousand cubits, and on the south side two thousand cubits, and on the west side two thousand cubits, and on the north side two thousand cubits; and the city shall be in the midst: this shall be to them the suburbs of the cities.

You shall measure outside of the city for the east side two thousand cubits, and for the south side two thousand cubits, and for the west side two thousand cubits, and for the north side two thousand cubits, the city being in the middle. This shall be the pasture lands of their cities.

Fra le città che darete ai Leviti ci saranno le sei città di rifugio, che voi designerete perché vi si rifugi l’omicida; e a queste aggiungerete altre quarantadue città.

Y de las ciudades que daréis á los Levitas, seis ciudades serán de acogimiento, las cuales daréis para que el homicida se acoja allá: y además de éstas daréis cuarenta y dos ciudades.

And among the cities which ye shall give unto the Levites there shall be six cities for refuge, which ye shall appoint for the manslayer, that he may flee thither: and to them ye shall add forty and two cities.

“The cities which you shall give to the Levites, they shall be the six cities of refuge, which you shall give for the man slayer to flee to. Besides them you shall give forty-two cities.

Tutte le città che darete ai Leviti saranno dunque quarantotto, col relativo contado.

Todas las ciudades que daréis á los Levitas serán cuarenta y ocho ciudades; ellas con sus ejidos.

So all the cities which ye shall give to the Levites shall be forty and eight cities: them shall ye give with their suburbs.

All the cities which you shall give to the Levites shall be forty-eight cities together with their pasture lands.

E di queste città che darete ai Leviti, prendendole dalla proprietà dei figliuoli d’Israele, ne prenderete di più da quelli che ne hanno di più, e di meno da quelli che ne hanno di meno; ognuno darà, delle sue città, ai Leviti, in proporzione della eredità che gli sarà toccata”.

Y las ciudades que diereis de la heredad de los hijos de Israel, del que mucho tomaréis mucho, y del que poco tomaréis poco: cada uno dará de sus ciudades á los Levitas según la posesión que heredará.

And the cities which ye shall give shall be of the possession of the children of Israel: from them that have many ye shall give many; but from them that have few ye shall give few: every one shall give of his cities unto the Levites according to his inheritance which he inheriteth.

Concerning the cities which you shall give of the possession of the children of Israel, from the many you shall take many, and from the few you shall take few. Everyone according to his inheritance which he inherits shall give some of his cities to the Levites.”

Poi l’Eterno parlò a Mosè, dicendo:

Y habló Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:

And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,

The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,

“Parla ai figliuoli d’Israele e di’ loro: Quando avrete passato il Giordano e sarete entrati nel paese di Canaan,

Habla á los hijos de Israel, y diles: Cuando hubiereis pasado el Jordán á la tierra de Canaán,

Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come over Jordan into the land of Canaan;

“Speak to the children of Israel, and tell them, ‘When you pass over the Jordan into the land of Canaan,

designerete delle città che siano per voi delle città di rifugio, dove possa ricoverarsi l’omicida che avrà ucciso qualcuno involontariamente.

Os señalaréis ciudades, ciudades de acogimiento tendréis, donde huya el homicida que hiriere á alguno de muerte por yerro.

Then ye shall appoint you cities to be cities of refuge for you; that the slayer may flee thither, which killeth any person at unawares.

then you shall appoint for yourselves cities to be cities of refuge for you, that the man slayer who kills any person unwittingly may flee there.

Queste città vi serviranno di rifugio contro il vindice del sangue, affinché l’omicida non sia messo a morte prima d’esser comparso in giudizio dinanzi alla raunanza.

Y os serán aquellas ciudades por acogimiento del pariente, y no morirá el homicida hasta que esté á juicio delante de la congregación.

And they shall be unto you cities for refuge from the avenger; that the manslayer die not, until he stand before the congregation in judgment.

The cities shall be for your refuge from the avenger, that the man slayer not die until he stands before the congregation for judgment.

Delle città che darete, sei saranno dunque per voi città di rifugio.

De las ciudades, pues, que daréis, tendréis seis ciudades de acogimiento.

And of these cities which ye shall give six cities shall ye have for refuge.

The cities which you shall give shall be for you six cities of refuge.

Darete tre città di qua dal Giordano, e darete tre altre città nel paese di Canaan; e saranno città di rifugio.

Tres ciudades daréis de esta parte del Jordán, y tres ciudades daréis en la tierra de Canaán; las cuales serán ciudades de acogimiento.

Ye shall give three cities on this side Jordan, and three cities shall ye give in the land of Canaan, which shall be cities of refuge.

You shall give three cities beyond the Jordan, and you shall give three cities in the land of Canaan. They shall be cities of refuge.

Queste sei città serviranno di rifugio ai figliuoli d’Israele, allo straniero e a colui che soggiornerà fra voi, affinché vi scampi chiunque abbia ucciso qualcuno involontariamente.

Estas seis ciudades serán para acogimiento á los hijos de Israel, y al peregrino, y al que morare entre ellos, para que huya allá cualquiera que hiriere de muerte á otro por yerro.

These six cities shall be a refuge, both for the children of Israel, and for the stranger, and for the sojourner among them: that every one that killeth any person unawares may flee thither.

These six cities shall be refuge for the children of Israel, for the stranger, and for the foreigner living among them, that everyone who kills any person unwittingly may flee there.

Ma se uno colpisce un altro con uno stromento di ferro, sì che quello ne muoia, quel tale è un omicida; l’omicida dovrà esser punito di morte.

Y si con instrumento de hierro lo hiriere y muriere, homicida es; el homicida morirá:

And if he smite him with an instrument of iron, so that he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

“‘But if he struck him with an instrument of iron, so that he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.

E se lo colpisce con una pietra che aveva in mano, atta a causare la morte, e il colpito muore, quel tale è un omicida; l’omicida dovrà esser punito di morte.

Y si con piedra de mano, de que pueda morir, lo hiriere, y muriere, homicida es; el homicida morirá.

And if he smite him with throwing a stone, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

If he struck him with a stone in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.

O se lo colpisce con uno stromento di legno che aveva in mano, atto a causare la morte, e il colpito muore, quel tale è un omicida; l’omicida dovrà esser punito di morte.

Y si con instrumento de palo de mano, de que pueda morir, lo hiriere, y muriere, homicida es; el homicida morirá.

Or if he smite him with an hand weapon of wood, wherewith he may die, and he die, he is a murderer: the murderer shall surely be put to death.

Or if he struck him with a weapon of wood in the hand, by which a man may die, and he died, he is a murderer. The murderer shall surely be put to death.

Sarà il vindice del sangue quegli che metterà a morte l’omicida; quando lo incontrerà, l’ucciderà.

El pariente del muerto, él matará al homicida: cuando lo encontrare, él le matará.

The revenger of blood himself shall slay the murderer: when he meeteth him, he shall slay him.

The avenger of blood shall himself put the murderer to death. When he meets him, he shall put him to death.

Se uno dà a un altro una spinta per odio, o gli getta contro qualcosa con premeditazione, sì che quello ne muoia,

Y si por odio lo empujó, ó echó sobre él alguna cosa por asechanzas, y muere;

But if he thrust him of hatred, or hurl at him by laying of wait, that he die;

If he shoved him out of hatred, or hurled something at him while lying in wait, so that he died,

o lo colpisce per inimicizia con la mano, sì che quello ne muoia, colui che ha colpito dovrà esser punito di morte; è un omicida; il vindice del sangue ucciderà l’omicida quando lo incontrerà.

O por enemistad lo hirió con su mano, y murió: el heridor morirá; es homicida; el pariente del muerto matará al homicida, cuando lo encontrare.

Or in enmity smite him with his hand, that he die: he that smote him shall surely be put to death; for he is a murderer: the revenger of blood shall slay the murderer, when he meeteth him.

or in hostility struck him with his hand, so that he died, he who struck him shall surely be put to death. He is a murderer. The avenger of blood shall put the murderer to death when he meets him.

Ma se gli da una spinta per caso e non per inimicizia, o gli getta contro qualcosa senza premeditazione,

Mas si casualmente lo empujó sin enemistades, ó echó sobre él cualquier instrumento sin asechanzas,

But if he thrust him suddenly without enmity, or have cast upon him any thing without laying of wait,

“‘But if he shoved him suddenly without hostility, or hurled on him anything without lying in wait,

o se, senza vederlo, gli fa cadere addosso una pietra che possa causare la morte, e quello ne muore, senza che l’altro gli fosse nemico o gli volesse fare del male,

O bien, sin verlo, hizo caer sobre él alguna piedra, de que pudo morir, y muriere, y él no era su enemigo, ni procuraba su mal;

Or with any stone, wherewith a man may die, seeing him not, and cast it upon him, that he die, and was not his enemy, neither sought his harm:

or with any stone, by which a man may die, not seeing him, and cast it on him so that he died, and he was not his enemy and not seeking his harm,

allora ecco le norme secondo le quali la raunanza giudicherà fra colui che ha colpito e il vindice del sangue.

Entonces la congregación juzgará entre el heridor y el pariente del muerto conforme á estas leyes:

Then the congregation shall judge between the slayer and the revenger of blood according to these judgments:

then the congregation shall judge between the striker and the avenger of blood according to these ordinances.

La raunanza libererà l’omicida dalle mani del vindice del sangue e lo farà tornare alla città di rifugio dove s’era ricoverato. Quivi dimorerà, fino alla morte del sommo sacerdote che fu unto con l’olio santo.

Y la congregación librará al homicida de mano del pariente del muerto, y la congregación lo hará volver á su ciudad de acogimiento, á la cual se había acogido; y morará en ella hasta que muera el gran sacerdote, el cual fué ungido con el aceite santo.

And the congregation shall deliver the slayer out of the hand of the revenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to the city of his refuge, whither he was fled: and he shall abide in it unto the death of the high priest, which was anointed with the holy oil.

The congregation shall deliver the man slayer out of the hand of the avenger of blood, and the congregation shall restore him to his city of refuge, where he had fled. He shall dwell therein until the death of the high priest, who was anointed with the holy oil.

Ma se l’omicida esce dai confini della città di rifugio dove s’era ricoverato,

Y si el homicida saliere fuera del término de su ciudad de refugio, á la cual se acogió,

But if the slayer shall at any time come without the border of the city of his refuge, whither he was fled;

“‘But if the man slayer shall at any time go beyond the border of his city of refuge where he flees,

e se il vindice del sangue trova l’omicida fuori de’ confini della sua città di rifugio e l’uccide, il vindice del sangue non sarà responsabile del sangue versato.

Y el pariente del muerto le hallare fuera del término de la ciudad de su acogida, y el pariente del muerto al homicida matare, no se le culpará por ello:

And the revenger of blood find him without the borders of the city of his refuge, and the revenger of blood kill the slayer; he shall not be guilty of blood:

and the avenger of blood finds him outside of the border of his city of refuge, and the avenger of blood kills the man slayer, he shall not be guilty of blood,

Poiché l’omicida deve stare nella sua città di rifugio fino alla morte del sommo sacerdote; ma, dopo la morte del sommo sacerdote, l’omicida potrà tornare nella terra di sua proprietà.

Pues en su ciudad de refugio deberá aquél habitar hasta que muera el gran sacerdote: y después que muriere el gran sacerdote, el homicida volverá á la tierra de su posesión.

Because he should have remained in the city of his refuge until the death of the high priest: but after the death of the high priest the slayer shall return into the land of his possession.

because he should have remained in his city of refuge until the death of the high priest. But after the death of the high priest, the man slayer shall return into the land of his possession.

Queste vi servano come norme di diritto, di generazione in generazione, dovunque dimorerete.

Y estas cosas os serán por ordenanza de derecho por vuestras edades, en todas vuestras habitaciones.

So these things shall be for a statute of judgment unto you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

“‘These things shall be for a statute and ordinance to you throughout your generations in all your dwellings.

Se uno uccide un altro, l’omicida sarà messo a morte in seguito a deposizione di testimoni; ma un unico testimone non basterà per far condannare una persona a morte.

Cualquiera que hiriere á alguno, por dicho de testigos, morirá el homicida: mas un solo testigo no hará fe contra alguna persona para que muera.

Whoso killeth any person, the murderer shall be put to death by the mouth of witnesses: but one witness shall not testify against any person to cause him to die.

“‘Whoever kills any person, the murderer shall be slain based on the testimony of witnesses; but one witness shall not testify alone against any person so that he dies.

Non accetterete prezzo di riscatto per la vita d’un omicida colpevole e degno di morte, perché dovrà esser punito di morte.

Y no tomaréis precio por la vida del homicida; porque está condenado á muerte: mas indefectiblemente morirá.

Moreover ye shall take no satisfaction for the life of a murderer, which is guilty of death: but he shall be surely put to death.

“‘Moreover you shall take no ransom for the life of a murderer who is guilty of death. He shall surely be put to death.

Non accetterete prezzo di riscatto che permetta a un omicida di ricoverarsi nella sua città di rifugio e di tornare ad abitare nel paese prima della morte del sacerdote.

Ni tampoco tomaréis precio del que huyó á su ciudad de refugio, para que vuelva á vivir en su tierra, hasta que muera el sacerdote.

And ye shall take no satisfaction for him that is fled to the city of his refuge, that he should come again to dwell in the land, until the death of the priest.

“‘You shall take no ransom for him who has fled to his city of refuge, that he may come again to dwell in the land before the death of the priest.

Non contaminerete il paese dove sarete, perché il sangue contamina il paese; e non si potrà fare per il paese alcuna espiazione del sangue che vi sarà stato sparso, se non mediante il sangue di colui che l’avrà sparso.

Y no contaminaréis la tierra donde estuviereis: porque esta sangre amancillará la tierra: y la tierra no será expiada de la sangre que fué derramada en ella, sino por la sangre del que la derramó.

So ye shall not pollute the land wherein ye are: for blood it defileth the land: and the land cannot be cleansed of the blood that is shed therein, but by the blood of him that shed it.

“‘So you shall not pollute the land where you live; for blood pollutes the land. No atonement can be made for the land for the blood that is shed in it, but by the blood of him who shed it.

Non contaminerete dunque il paese che andate ad abitare, e in mezzo al quale io dimorerò; poiché io sono l’Eterno che dimoro in mezzo ai figliuoli d’Israele”.

No contaminéis, pues, la tierra donde habitáis, en medio de la cual yo habito; porque yo Jehová habito en medio de los hijos de Israel.

Defile not therefore the land which ye shall inhabit, wherein I dwell: for I the LORD dwell among the children of Israel.

You shall not defile the land which you inhabit, where I dwell; for I, the LORD, dwell among the children of Israel.’”
