1Y él Señor dijo a Moisés y a Aarón:
2Los hijos de Coat, de entre los hijos de Leví, sean contados por sus familias, por orden de las casas de sus padres;
3Todos aquellos de treinta a cincuenta años que puedan hacer el trabajo de la Tienda de reunión.
4Y esta es la obra de los hijos de Coat en conexión con las cosas del lugar santísimo.
5Cuando toda la gente avanza, Aarón debe ir con sus hijos y quitarán el velo de la cortina, cubriendo con él cofre del pacto del testimonio;
6Y poniendo sobre ella la cubierta de cuero y sobre eso un paño azul; y poniendo sus varillas en su lugar.
7Y sobre la mesa del pan santo deben poner un paño azul, y sobre ella todas las vasijas, las cucharas y los recipientes y las copas; y el pan santo con ellos;
8Y sobre ellos deben poner un paño rojo, cubrirlo con una cubierta de cuero, y poner sus varillas en sus lugares.
9Y deben llevar una tela azul, cubriendo con ella el candelabro con sus luces y sus instrumentos y sus bandejas y todos los recipientes de aceite que se utilizan para ello:
10Todos estos son para poner en una cubierta de cuero, y ponerlo en una charola.
11Sobre el altar de oro deben poner un paño azul, cubriéndolo con una cubierta de cuero; y han de poner sus varas en sus lugares.
12Todas las vasijas que se usan en el lugar santo deben ponerse en un paño azul, cubrirlas con una cubierta de cuero y colocarlas en la charola.
13Y quitarán los restos quemados del altar, y pondrán sobre ellos un paño púrpura;
14Colocando encima la tela todas sus vasijas, las cestas de fuego, los ganchos de carne, las espadas y las cubetas; todos los vasos del altar; Deben poner una cubierta de cuero sobre todos estos, y poner sus varillas en sus lugares.
15Y después de que el lugar santo y todas sus vasijas hayan sido tapadas por Aarón y sus hijos, cuando las tiendas del pueblo avancen, los hijos de Coat vendrán y lo recogerán; pero las cosas santas no pueden ser tocadas por temor a la muerte.
16Y Eleazar, el hijo del sacerdote Aarón, será el responsable del aceite para la luz, y los perfumes aromáticos para el fuego, y la ofrenda de la comida regular, y el aceite santo; La tienda de reunión el lugar santo y todo lo que hay en ella estará bajo su cuidado.
17Y él Señor Dijo a Moisés y a Aarón:
18No dejes que la familia de los Coatitas sea separada de entre los levitas;
19Pero háganles esto, para que la vida, y no la muerte, sean suyas cuando se acerquen a las cosas más santas; Deja que Aarón y sus hijos entren y entreguen a cada uno su trabajo y lo que debe asumir;
20Pero ellos mismos no deben entrar para ver el lugar santo, ni siquiera por un minuto, por temor a la muerte.
21Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
22Que los hijos de Gersón sean contados por familias, por orden de las casas de sus padres;
23Todos aquellos de treinta a cincuenta años que pueden hacer el trabajo de la Tienda de reunión.
24Esta es la obra de los gersonitas, las cosas que deben hacer y asumir.
25Deben tomar las cortinas del santuario, y la Tienda de reunión con su tapa y la cubierta de cuero sobre ella, y las cortinas para la puerta de la Tienda de reunión;
26Y las cortinas para el atrio y alrededor de la Tienda y él altar y la cortina para su entrada, con las cuerdas y todas las cosas que se usaron para ellos; Lo que sea necesario, para su oficio y trabajo.
27De la boca de Aarón y de sus hijos, los gersonitas tendrán noticias acerca de todas las cosas que deben hacer y tomar; Tú debes darles sus órdenes de lo que deben de hacer.
28Esta es la obra de la familia de los gersonitas en la Tienda de reunión, y estarán bajo la dirección de Itamar, el hijo del sacerdote Aarón.
29Los hijos de Merari serán contados por familias, en el orden de las casas de sus padres;
30Cada uno de treinta a cincuenta años que pueda hacer el trabajo de la Tienda de reunión.
31Y esta es su parte en el trabajo de la Tienda de reunión: el transporte de las tablas y las varillas de la tienda, con los pilares y sus basas;
32Y los pilares del atrio fuera de él, con sus basas y sus estacas y cuerdas y todos los instrumentos utilizados, y todo lo que debe hacerse allí; todos los instrumentos de los que son responsables deben ser numerados por su nombre.
33Este es el trabajo que los hijos de Merari deben hacer en relación con la Tienda de reunión, bajo la dirección de Itamar, el hijo de Aarón el sacerdote.
34Entonces Moisés, Aarón y los jefes del pueblo tomaron en sus manos la numeración de los hijos de los Coatitas, por familias, por orden de las casas de sus padres;
35Numerar a todos aquellos de treinta a cincuenta años que pudieron hacer el trabajo en la Tienda de reunión;
36Y el número de todos estos fue dos mil setecientos cincuenta.
37Este es el número de aquellos de Coat que hicieron el trabajo en la Tienda de la reunión, ya que fueron contados por Moisés y Aarón por orden del Señor.
38Y los de los hijos de Gersón, que fueron contados por familias,
39Todos aquellos de treinta a cincuenta años que pudieron hacer el trabajo en la Tienda de reunión,
40Los que fueron contados por familias en el orden de las casas de sus padres, fueron dos mil seiscientos treinta.
41Este es el número de los hijos de Gersón que hicieron el trabajo en la Tienda de reunión, ya que fueron contados por Moisés y Aarón por orden del Señor.
42Y los de los hijos de Merari, que fueron contados por familias, por orden de las casas de sus padres,
43Todos los de treinta a cincuenta años que hicieron el trabajo en la Tienda de reunión,
44Que fueron contados por familias, eran tres mil doscientos.
45Este es el número de los hijos de Merari, numerados por Moisés y Aarón por orden del Señor.
46Y todos los levitas que fueron contados por Moisés y Aarón, y los jefes del pueblo, por familias, por orden de las casas de sus padres,
47Los de treinta a cincuenta años que pudieron hacer el trabajo de la Tienda de reunión y de su transporte.
48Llegó a ocho mil quinientos ochenta.
49Por orden del Señor fueron contados por Moisés, cada uno en relación con su trabajo y con su parte en el transporte; así fueron contados por Moisés por orden del Señor.

1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo:
2Toma la cuenta de los hijos de Coath de entre los hijos de Leví, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres,
3De edad de treinta años arriba hasta cincuenta años, todos los que entran en compañía, para hacer servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
4Este será el oficio de los hijos de Coath en el tabernáculo del testimonio, en el lugar santísimo:
5Cuando se hubiere de mudar el campo, vendrán Aarón y sus hijos, y desarmarán el velo de la tienda, y cubrirán con él el arca del testimonio:
6Y pondrán sobre ella la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y extenderán encima el paño todo de cárdeno, y le pondrán sus varas.
7Y sobre la mesa de la proposición extenderán el paño cárdeno, y pondrán sobre ella las escudillas, y las cucharas, y las copas, y los tazones para libar: y el pan continuo estará sobre ella.
8Y extenderán sobre ella el paño de carmesí colorado, y lo cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejones; y le pondrán sus varas.
9Y tomarán un paño cárdeno, y cubrirán el candelero de la luminaria; y sus candilejas, y sus despabiladeras, y sus platillos, y todos sus vasos del aceite con que se sirve;
10Y lo pondrán con todos sus vasos en una cubierta de pieles de tejones, y lo colocarán sobre unas parihuelas.
11Y sobre el altar de oro extenderán el paño cárdeno, y le cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y le pondrán sus varales.
12Y tomarán todos los vasos del servicio, de que hacen uso en el santuario, y los pondrán en un paño cárdeno, y los cubrirán con una cubierta de pieles de tejones, y los colocarán sobre unas parihuelas.
13Y quitarán la ceniza del altar, y extenderán sobre él un paño de púrpura:
14Y pondrán sobre él todos sus instrumentos de que se sirve: las paletas, los garfios, los braseros, y los tazones, todos los vasos del altar; y extenderán sobre él la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y le pondrán además las varas.
15Y en acabando Aarón y sus hijos de cubrir el santuario y todos los vasos del santuario, cuando el campo se hubiere de mudar, vendrán después de ello los hijos de Coath para conducir: mas no tocarán cosa santa, que morirán. Estas serán las cargas de los hijos de Coath en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
16Empero al cargo de Eleazar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote, estará el aceite de la luminaria, y el perfume aromático, y el presente continuo, y el aceite de la unción; el cargo de todo el tabernáculo, y de todo lo que está en él, en el santuario, y en sus vasos.
17Y habló Jehová á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo:
18No cortaréis la tribu de las familias de Coath de entre los Levitas;
19Mas esto haréis con ellos, para que vivan, y no mueran cuando llegaren al lugar santísimo: Aarón y sus hijos vendrán y los pondrán á cada uno en su oficio, y en su cargo.
20No entrarán para ver, cuando cubrieren las cosas santas; que morirán.
21Y habló Jehová á Moisés diciendo:
22Toma también la cuenta de los hijos de Gersón por las casas de sus padres, por sus familias.
23De edad de treinta años arriba hasta cincuenta años los contarás; todos los que entran en compañía, para hacer servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
24Este será el oficio de las familias de Gersón, para ministrar y para llevar:
25Llevarán las cortinas del tabernáculo, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, su cubierta, y la cubierta de pieles de tejones que está sobre él encima, y el pabellón de la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio,
26Y las cortinas del atrio, y el pabellón de la puerta del atrio, que está cerca del tabernáculo y cerca del altar alrededor, y sus cuerdas, y todos los instrumentos de su servicio, y todo lo que será hecho para ellos: así servirán.
27Según la orden de Aarón y de sus hijos será todo el ministerio de los hijos de Gersón en todos sus cargos, y en todo su servicio: y les encomendaréis en guarda todos sus cargos.
28Este es el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Gersón en el tabernáculo del testimonio: y el cargo de ellos estará bajo la mano de Ithamar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote.
29Contarás los hijos de Merari por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres.
30Desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de cincuenta años, los contarás; todos los que entran en compañía, para hacer servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
31Y este será el deber de su cargo para todo su servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio: las tablas del tabernáculo, y sus barras, y sus columnas, y sus basas,
32Y las columnas del atrio alrededor, y sus basas, y sus estacas, y sus cuerdas con todos sus instrumentos, y todo su servicio; y contaréis por sus nombres todos los vasos de la guarda de su cargo.
33Este será el servicio de las familias de los hijos de Merari para todo su ministerio en el tabernáculo del testimonio, bajo la mano de Ithamar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote.
34Moisés, pues, y Aarón, y los jefes de la congregación, contaron los hijos de Coath por sus familias, y por las casas de sus padres,
35Desde el de edad de treinta años arriba hasta el de edad de cincuenta años; todos los que entran en compañía, para ministrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
36Y fueron los contados de ellos por sus familias, dos mil setecientos y cincuenta.

44Los contados de ellos, por sus familias, fueron tres mil y doscientos.
45Estos fueron los contados de las familias de los hijos de Merari, los cuales contaron Moisés y Aarón, según lo mandó Jehová por mano de Moisés.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
3From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
4This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
5And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:
6And shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.
7And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:
8And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.
9And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
10And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
11And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:
12And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put them on a bar:
13And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:
14And they shall put upon it all the vessels thereof, wherewith they minister about it, even the censers, the fleshhooks, and the shovels, and the basons, all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread upon it a covering of badgers’ skins, and put to the staves of it.
15And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
16And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
17And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
18Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:
19But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
20But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.
21And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
22Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;
23From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
24This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:
25And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
26And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.
27At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
28This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;

37These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.

47From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,
48Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.
49According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.

1The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
2“Take a census of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,
3from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all who enter into the service to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
4“This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting, regarding the most holy things.
5When the camp moves forward, Aaron shall go in with his sons; and they shall take down the veil of the screen, cover the ark of the Testimony with it,
6put a covering of sealskin on it, spread a blue cloth over it, and put in its poles.
7“On the table of show bread they shall spread a blue cloth, and put on it the dishes, the spoons, the bowls, and the cups with which to pour out; and the continual bread shall be on it.
8They shall spread on them a scarlet cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.
9“They shall take a blue cloth and cover the lamp stand of the light, its lamps, its snuffers, its snuff dishes, and all its oil vessels, with which they minister to it.
10They shall put it and all its vessels within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it on the frame.
11“On the golden altar they shall spread a blue cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.
12“They shall take all the vessels of ministry with which they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a blue cloth, cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on the frame.
13“They shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth on it.
14They shall put on it all its vessels with which they minister about it, the fire pans, the meat hooks, the shovels, and the basins—all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread on it a covering of sealskin, and put in its poles.
15“When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it; but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. The sons of Kohath shall carry these things belonging to the Tent of Meeting.
16“The duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the requirements of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings.”
17The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
18“Don’t cut off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites;
19but do this to them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in and appoint everyone to his service and to his burden;
20but they shall not go in to see the sanctuary even for a moment, lest they die.”
21The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
22“Take a census of the sons of Gershon also, by their fathers’ houses, by their families;
23you shall count them from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old: all who enter in to wait on the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
24“This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:
25they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, the covering of sealskin that is on it, the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,
26the hangings of the court, the screen for the door of the gate of the court which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatever shall be done with them. They shall serve in there.
27At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden and in all their service; and you shall appoint their duty to them in all their responsibilities.
28This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the Tent of Meeting. Their duty shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29“As for the sons of Merari, you shall count them by their families, by their fathers’ houses;
30you shall count them from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old—everyone who enters on the service, to do the work of the Tent of Meeting.
31This is the duty of their burden, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting: the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets,

48even those who were counted of them, were eight thousand five hundred eighty.
49According to the commandment of the LORD they were counted by Moses, everyone according to his service and according to his burden. Thus they were counted by him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
