1Und Jehova redete zu Mose und zu Aaron und sprach:
2Nehmet auf die Summe der Söhne Kehaths aus der Mitte der Söhne Levis, nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Vaterhäusern,
3von dreißig Jahren und darüber bis zu fünfzig Jahren, alle, welche in die Arbeit treten, um das Werk am Zelte der Zusammenkunft zu verrichten.
4Dies ist der Dienst der Söhne Kehaths am Zelte der Zusammenkunft: das Hochheilige.
5Und Aaron und seine Söhne sollen beim Aufbruch des Lagers hineingehen und den Scheidevorhang abnehmen und die Lade des Zeugnisses damit bedecken;
6und sie sollen eine Decke von Dachsfell darüber legen und ein Tuch, ganz von blauem Purpur, oben darüber breiten und ihre Stangen daran tun.
7Und über den Tisch der Schaubrote sollen sie ein Tuch von blauem Purpur breiten und darauf stellen die Schüsseln und Schalen und Spendschalen und die Kannen zum Trankopfer; und das beständige Brot soll auf demselben sein;
8Und hierüber sollen sie ein Tuch von Karmesin breiten und es mit einer Decke von Dachsfell bedecken; und sie sollen seine Stangen daran tun.
9Und sie sollen ein Tuch von blauem Purpur nehmen und den Leuchter des Lichts bedecken und seine Lampen und seine Lichtschneuzen und seine Löschnäpfe und alle seine Ölgefäße, womit man den Dienst an ihm verrichtet;
10Und sie sollen ihn und alle seine Geräte in eine Decke von Dachsfell tun und auf die Trage legen.
11Und über den goldenen Altar sollen sie ein Tuch von blauem Purpur breiten und ihn mit einer Decke von Dachsfell bedecken und seine Stangen daran tun.
12Und sie sollen alle Geräte des Dienstes nehmen, womit man den Dienst im Heiligtum verrichtet, und sie in ein Tuch von blauem Purpur legen und sie mit einer Decke von Dachsfell bedecken und auf die Trage legen.
13Und sie sollen den Altar von der Fettasche reinigen und ein Tuch von rotem Purpur über ihn breiten,
14und darauf legen alle seine Geräte, womit man den Dienst auf ihm verrichtet: die Kohlenpfannen und die Gabeln und die Schaufeln und die Sprengschalen, alle Geräte des Altars; und sie sollen eine Decke von Dachsfell darüber breiten und seine Stangen daran tun.
15Und wenn Aaron und seine Söhne beim Aufbruch des Lagers das Bedecken des Heiligtums und aller Geräte des Heiligtums vollendet haben, so sollen danach die Söhne Kehaths kommen, um es zu tragen, damit sie das Heilige nicht anrühren und sterben. Das ist es, was die Söhne Kehaths vom Zelte der Zusammenkunft zu tragen haben.
16Und Eleasar, der Sohn Aarons, des Priesters, hat die Aufsicht über das Öl zum Licht und das wohlriechende Räucherwerk und das beständige Speisopfer und das Salböl, die Aufsicht über die ganze Wohnung und alles, was darin ist, über das Heiligtum wie über seine Geräte.
17Und Jehova redete zu Mose und zu Aaron und sprach:
18Ihr sollt den Stamm der Familien der Kehathiter nicht ausgerottet werden lassen aus der Mitte der Leviten;
19sondern dies sollt ihr ihnen tun, damit sie leben und nicht sterben, wenn sie dem Allerheiligsten nahen: Aaron und seine Söhne sollen hineingehen und jeden einzelnen von ihnen an seinen Dienst und an seine Traglast stellen;
20aber sie sollen nicht hineingehen, daß sie auch nur einen Augenblick das Heilige sehen und sterben.
21Und Jehova redete zu Mose und sprach:
22Nimm auch die Summe der Söhne Gersons auf, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, nach ihren Familien;
23von dreißig Jahren und darüber bis zu fünfzig Jahren sollst du sie mustern, alle, welche in die Arbeit treten, um den Dienst am Zelte der Zusammenkunft zu verrichten.
24Dies ist der Dienst der Familien der Gersoniter im Dienen und im Tragen:
25Sie sollen die Teppiche der Wohnung tragen und das Zelt der Zusammenkunft, seine Decke und die Decke von Dachsfell, die oben darüber ist, und den Vorhang vom Eingang des Zeltes der Zusammenkunft,

28Das ist der Dienst der Familien der Söhne der Gersoniter am Zelte der Zusammenkunft; und ihre Hut sei unter der Hand Ithamars, des Sohnes Aarons, des Priesters.
29Die Söhne Meraris, nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Vaterhäusern sollst du sie mustern;
30von dreißig Jahren und darüber bis zu fünfzig Jahren sollst du sie mustern, alle, welche in die Arbeit treten, um den Dienst am Zelte der Zusammenkunft zu verrichten.
31Und dies ist es, was ihnen zu tragen obliegt, nach ihrem ganzen Dienst am Zelte der Zusammenkunft: die Bretter der Wohnung und ihre Riegel und ihre Säulen und ihre Füße,
32und die Säulen des Vorhofs ringsum und ihre Füße und ihre Pflöcke und ihre Seile, nach allen ihren Geräten und nach all ihrem Dienst; und mit Namen sollt ihr ihnen die Geräte zuzählen, die ihnen zu tragen obliegen.
33Das ist der Dienst der Familien der Söhne Meraris, nach all ihrem Dienst am Zelte der Zusammenkunft, unter der Hand Ithamars, des Sohnes Aarons, des Priesters.
34Und Mose und Aaron und die Fürsten der Gemeinde musterten die Söhne der Kehathiter nach ihren Familien und nach ihren Vaterhäusern,
35von dreißig Jahren und darüber bis zu fünfzig Jahren, alle, welche in die Arbeit traten zum Dienst am Zelte der Zusammenkunft.
36Und es waren ihrer Gemusterten, nach ihren Familien, zweitausend siebenhundertfünfzig.
37Das sind die Gemusterten der Familien der Kehathiter, alle, welche am Zelte der Zusammenkunft dienten, die Mose und Aaron musterten nach dem Befehl Jehovas durch Mose.
38Und die Gemusterten der Söhne Gersons, nach ihren Familien und nach ihren Vaterhäusern,
39von dreißig Jahren und darüber bis zu fünfzig Jahren, alle, welche in die Arbeit traten zum Dienst am Zelte der Zusammenkunft:
40es waren ihrer Gemusterten, nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Vaterhäusern, zweitausend sechshundertdreißig.
41Das sind die Gemusterten der Familien der Söhne Gersons, alle, welche am Zelte der Zusammenkunft dienten, die Mose und Aaron musterten nach dem Befehl Jehovas.
42Und die Gemusterten der Familien der Söhne Meraris, nach ihren Familien, nach ihren Vaterhäusern,
43von dreißig Jahren und darüber bis zu fünfzig Jahren, alle, welche in die Arbeit traten zum Dienst am Zelte der Zusammenkunft:
44es waren ihrer Gemusterten, nach ihren Familien, dreitausend zweihundert.
45Das sind die Gemusterten der Familien der Söhne Meraris, die Mose und Aaron musterten nach dem Befehl Jehovas durch Mose.
46Aller Gemusterten, welche Mose und Aaron und die Fürsten Israels musterten, der Leviten nach ihren Familien und nach ihren Vaterhäusern,
47von dreißig Jahren und darüber bis zu fünfzig Jahren, aller, welche antraten, um den Dienst der Bedienung und den Dienst des Tragens am Zelte der Zusammenkunft zu verrichten:
48ihrer Gemusterten waren achttausend fünfhundertachtzig.
49Nach dem Befehl Jehovas musterte man sie durch Mose, jeden einzelnen zu seinem Dienst und zu seiner Traglast; und sie wurden von ihm gemustert, wie Jehova dem Mose geboten hatte.

2Toma la cuenta de los hijos de Coath de entre los hijos de Leví, por sus familias, por las casas de sus padres,
3De edad de treinta años arriba hasta cincuenta años, todos los que entran en compañía, para hacer servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
4Este será el oficio de los hijos de Coath en el tabernáculo del testimonio, en el lugar santísimo:
5Cuando se hubiere de mudar el campo, vendrán Aarón y sus hijos, y desarmarán el velo de la tienda, y cubrirán con él el arca del testimonio:
6Y pondrán sobre ella la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y extenderán encima el paño todo de cárdeno, y le pondrán sus varas.
7Y sobre la mesa de la proposición extenderán el paño cárdeno, y pondrán sobre ella las escudillas, y las cucharas, y las copas, y los tazones para libar: y el pan continuo estará sobre ella.
8Y extenderán sobre ella el paño de carmesí colorado, y lo cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejones; y le pondrán sus varas.
9Y tomarán un paño cárdeno, y cubrirán el candelero de la luminaria; y sus candilejas, y sus despabiladeras, y sus platillos, y todos sus vasos del aceite con que se sirve;
10Y lo pondrán con todos sus vasos en una cubierta de pieles de tejones, y lo colocarán sobre unas parihuelas.
11Y sobre el altar de oro extenderán el paño cárdeno, y le cubrirán con la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y le pondrán sus varales.
12Y tomarán todos los vasos del servicio, de que hacen uso en el santuario, y los pondrán en un paño cárdeno, y los cubrirán con una cubierta de pieles de tejones, y los colocarán sobre unas parihuelas.
13Y quitarán la ceniza del altar, y extenderán sobre él un paño de púrpura:
14Y pondrán sobre él todos sus instrumentos de que se sirve: las paletas, los garfios, los braseros, y los tazones, todos los vasos del altar; y extenderán sobre él la cubierta de pieles de tejones, y le pondrán además las varas.
15Y en acabando Aarón y sus hijos de cubrir el santuario y todos los vasos del santuario, cuando el campo se hubiere de mudar, vendrán después de ello los hijos de Coath para conducir: mas no tocarán cosa santa, que morirán. Estas serán las cargas de los hijos de Coath en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
16Empero al cargo de Eleazar, hijo de Aarón el sacerdote, estará el aceite de la luminaria, y el perfume aromático, y el presente continuo, y el aceite de la unción; el cargo de todo el tabernáculo, y de todo lo que está en él, en el santuario, y en sus vasos.
17Y habló Jehová á Moisés y á Aarón, diciendo:
18No cortaréis la tribu de las familias de Coath de entre los Levitas;
19Mas esto haréis con ellos, para que vivan, y no mueran cuando llegaren al lugar santísimo: Aarón y sus hijos vendrán y los pondrán á cada uno en su oficio, y en su cargo.
20No entrarán para ver, cuando cubrieren las cosas santas; que morirán.
21Y habló Jehová á Moisés diciendo:
22Toma también la cuenta de los hijos de Gersón por las casas de sus padres, por sus familias.
23De edad de treinta años arriba hasta cincuenta años los contarás; todos los que entran en compañía, para hacer servicio en el tabernáculo del testimonio.
24Este será el oficio de las familias de Gersón, para ministrar y para llevar:
25Llevarán las cortinas del tabernáculo, y el tabernáculo del testimonio, su cubierta, y la cubierta de pieles de tejones que está sobre él encima, y el pabellón de la puerta del tabernáculo del testimonio,
26Y las cortinas del atrio, y el pabellón de la puerta del atrio, que está cerca del tabernáculo y cerca del altar alrededor, y sus cuerdas, y todos los instrumentos de su servicio, y todo lo que será hecho para ellos: así servirán.
27Según la orden de Aarón y de sus hijos será todo el ministerio de los hijos de Gersón en todos sus cargos, y en todo su servicio: y les encomendaréis en guarda todos sus cargos.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
2Take the sum of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, after their families, by the house of their fathers,
3From thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all that enter into the host, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
4This shall be the service of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation, about the most holy things:
5And when the camp setteth forward, Aaron shall come, and his sons, and they shall take down the covering vail, and cover the ark of testimony with it:
6And shall put thereon the covering of badgers’ skins, and shall spread over it a cloth wholly of blue, and shall put in the staves thereof.
7And upon the table of shewbread they shall spread a cloth of blue, and put thereon the dishes, and the spoons, and the bowls, and covers to cover withal: and the continual bread shall be thereon:
8And they shall spread upon them a cloth of scarlet, and cover the same with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put in the staves thereof.
9And they shall take a cloth of blue, and cover the candlestick of the light, and his lamps, and his tongs, and his snuffdishes, and all the oil vessels thereof, wherewith they minister unto it:
10And they shall put it and all the vessels thereof within a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put it upon a bar.
11And upon the golden altar they shall spread a cloth of blue, and cover it with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put to the staves thereof:
12And they shall take all the instruments of ministry, wherewith they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a cloth of blue, and cover them with a covering of badgers’ skins, and shall put them on a bar:
13And they shall take away the ashes from the altar, and spread a purple cloth thereon:

15And when Aaron and his sons have made an end of covering the sanctuary, and all the vessels of the sanctuary, as the camp is to set forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to bear it: but they shall not touch any holy thing, lest they die. These things are the burden of the sons of Kohath in the tabernacle of the congregation.
16And to the office of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest pertaineth the oil for the light, and the sweet incense, and the daily meat offering, and the anointing oil, and the oversight of all the tabernacle, and of all that therein is, in the sanctuary, and in the vessels thereof.
17And the LORD spake unto Moses and unto Aaron, saying,
18Cut ye not off the tribe of the families of the Kohathites from among the Levites:
19But thus do unto them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach unto the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in, and appoint them every one to his service and to his burden:
20But they shall not go in to see when the holy things are covered, lest they die.
21And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
22Take also the sum of the sons of Gershon, throughout the houses of their fathers, by their families;
23From thirty years old and upward until fifty years old shalt thou number them; all that enter in to perform the service, to do the work in the tabernacle of the congregation.
24This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, to serve, and for burdens:
25And they shall bear the curtains of the tabernacle, and the tabernacle of the congregation, his covering, and the covering of the badgers’ skins that is above upon it, and the hanging for the door of the tabernacle of the congregation,
26And the hangings of the court, and the hanging for the door of the gate of the court, which is by the tabernacle and by the altar round about, and their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and all that is made for them: so shall they serve.
27At the appointment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burdens, and in all their service: and ye shall appoint unto them in charge all their burdens.
28This is the service of the families of the sons of Gershon in the tabernacle of the congregation: and their charge shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29As for the sons of Merari, thou shalt number them after their families, by the house of their fathers;
30From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old shalt thou number them, every one that entereth into the service, to do the work of the tabernacle of the congregation.
31And this is the charge of their burden, according to all their service in the tabernacle of the congregation; the boards of the tabernacle, and the bars thereof, and the pillars thereof, and sockets thereof,
32And the pillars of the court round about, and their sockets, and their pins, and their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service: and by name ye shall reckon the instruments of the charge of their burden.
33This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service, in the tabernacle of the congregation, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
34And Moses and Aaron and the chief of the congregation numbered the sons of the Kohathites after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
35From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation:
36And those that were numbered of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred and fifty.
37These were they that were numbered of the families of the Kohathites, all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, which Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
38And those that were numbered of the sons of Gershon, throughout their families, and by the house of their fathers,
39From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
40Even those that were numbered of them, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers, were two thousand and six hundred and thirty.
41These are they that were numbered of the families of the sons of Gershon, of all that might do service in the tabernacle of the congregation, whom Moses and Aaron did number according to the commandment of the LORD.
42And those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, throughout their families, by the house of their fathers,
43From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that entereth into the service, for the work in the tabernacle of the congregation,
44Even those that were numbered of them after their families, were three thousand and two hundred.
45These be those that were numbered of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron numbered according to the word of the LORD by the hand of Moses.
46All those that were numbered of the Levites, whom Moses and Aaron and the chief of Israel numbered, after their families, and after the house of their fathers,
47From thirty years old and upward even unto fifty years old, every one that came to do the service of the ministry, and the service of the burden in the tabernacle of the congregation,
48Even those that were numbered of them, were eight thousand and five hundred and fourscore.
49According to the commandment of the LORD they were numbered by the hand of Moses, every one according to his service, and according to his burden: thus were they numbered of him, as the LORD commanded Moses.

1The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,
2“Take a census of the sons of Kohath from among the sons of Levi, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,
3from thirty years old and upward even until fifty years old, all who enter into the service to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
4“This is the service of the sons of Kohath in the Tent of Meeting, regarding the most holy things.
5When the camp moves forward, Aaron shall go in with his sons; and they shall take down the veil of the screen, cover the ark of the Testimony with it,
6put a covering of sealskin on it, spread a blue cloth over it, and put in its poles.
7“On the table of show bread they shall spread a blue cloth, and put on it the dishes, the spoons, the bowls, and the cups with which to pour out; and the continual bread shall be on it.
8They shall spread on them a scarlet cloth, and cover it with a covering of sealskin, and shall put in its poles.
9“They shall take a blue cloth and cover the lamp stand of the light, its lamps, its snuffers, its snuff dishes, and all its oil vessels, with which they minister to it.
10They shall put it and all its vessels within a covering of sealskin, and shall put it on the frame.

12“They shall take all the vessels of ministry with which they minister in the sanctuary, and put them in a blue cloth, cover them with a covering of sealskin, and shall put them on the frame.

14They shall put on it all its vessels with which they minister about it, the fire pans, the meat hooks, the shovels, and the basins—all the vessels of the altar; and they shall spread on it a covering of sealskin, and put in its poles.
15“When Aaron and his sons have finished covering the sanctuary and all the furniture of the sanctuary, as the camp moves forward; after that, the sons of Kohath shall come to carry it; but they shall not touch the sanctuary, lest they die. The sons of Kohath shall carry these things belonging to the Tent of Meeting.
16“The duty of Eleazar the son of Aaron the priest shall be the oil for the light, the sweet incense, the continual meal offering, and the anointing oil, the requirements of all the tabernacle, and of all that is in it, the sanctuary, and its furnishings.”
17The LORD spoke to Moses and to Aaron, saying,

19but do this to them, that they may live, and not die, when they approach the most holy things: Aaron and his sons shall go in and appoint everyone to his service and to his burden;
20but they shall not go in to see the sanctuary even for a moment, lest they die.”

23you shall count them from thirty years old and upward until fifty years old: all who enter in to wait on the service, to do the work in the Tent of Meeting.
24“This is the service of the families of the Gershonites, in serving and in bearing burdens:
25they shall carry the curtains of the tabernacle and the Tent of Meeting, its covering, the covering of sealskin that is on it, the screen for the door of the Tent of Meeting,
26the hangings of the court, the screen for the door of the gate of the court which is by the tabernacle and around the altar, their cords, and all the instruments of their service, and whatever shall be done with them. They shall serve in there.
27At the commandment of Aaron and his sons shall be all the service of the sons of the Gershonites, in all their burden and in all their service; and you shall appoint their duty to them in all their responsibilities.
28This is the service of the families of the sons of the Gershonites in the Tent of Meeting. Their duty shall be under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.
29“As for the sons of Merari, you shall count them by their families, by their fathers’ houses;
30you shall count them from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old—everyone who enters on the service, to do the work of the Tent of Meeting.
31This is the duty of their burden, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting: the tabernacle’s boards, its bars, its pillars, its sockets,
32the pillars of the court around it, their sockets, their pins, their cords, with all their instruments, and with all their service. You shall appoint the instruments of the duty of their burden to them by name.
33This is the service of the families of the sons of Merari, according to all their service in the Tent of Meeting, under the hand of Ithamar the son of Aaron the priest.”
34Moses and Aaron and the princes of the congregation counted the sons of the Kohathites by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,
35from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting.
36Those who were counted of them by their families were two thousand seven hundred fifty.
37These are those who were counted of the families of the Kohathites, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
38Those who were counted of the sons of Gershon, by their families, and by their fathers’ houses,
39from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old—everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting,
40even those who were counted of them, by their families, by their fathers’ houses, were two thousand six hundred thirty.
41These are those who were counted of the families of the sons of Gershon, all who served in the Tent of Meeting, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of the LORD.
42Those who were counted of the families of the sons of Merari, by their families, by their fathers’ houses,
43from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old—everyone who entered into the service for work in the Tent of Meeting,
44even those who were counted of them by their families, were three thousand two hundred.
45These are those who were counted of the families of the sons of Merari, whom Moses and Aaron counted according to the commandment of the LORD by Moses.
46All those who were counted of the Levites whom Moses and Aaron and the princes of Israel counted, by their families and by their fathers’ houses,
47from thirty years old and upward even to fifty years old, everyone who entered in to do the work of service and the work of bearing burdens in the Tent of Meeting,
48even those who were counted of them, were eight thousand five hundred eighty.
49According to the commandment of the LORD they were counted by Moses, everyone according to his service and according to his burden. Thus they were counted by him, as the LORD commanded Moses.
