1Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
2Dile a Aarón, Cuando ponga las luces en sus lugares, las siete luces darán luz delante del candelabro.
3Y Aarón lo hizo; puso las luces en sus lugares para que dieran luz delante del candelabro, como el Señor le dio órdenes a Moisés.
4El candelabro para las luces era labrado de oro martillado, desde su base hasta sus flores fue labrado a martillo; a partir del diseño que el Señor le había dado a Moisés, él hizo el apoyo para las luces.
5Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
6Saca a los levitas de entre los hijos de Israel y purifícalos.
7Y así es como debes purificarlos: deja que el agua sagrada que quita el pecado sea puesta sobre ellos, y deja que el pelo de todo su cuerpo se corte con una cuchilla afilada, y deja que sus ropas se laven y así quedarán puros.
8Luego, que tomen un becerro su ofrenda de harina, el grano triturado mezclado con aceite, y tomen otro becerro para una ofrenda por el pecado.
9Y haz que los levitas se adelanten frente a la tienda de reunión, y que todos los hijos de Israel se junten:
10Y debes llevar a los levitas ante el Señor, y los hijos de Israel deben poner sus manos sobre ellos:
11Y Aarón debe dar los levitas al Señor como una ofrenda de los hijos de Israel, para que puedan hacer la obra del Señor.
12Y los levitas deben poner sus manos sobre las cabezas de los becerros, y uno de los becerros debe ser ofrecido por una ofrenda por el pecado y el otro por una ofrenda quemada al Señor para quitar el pecado de los Levitas.
13Entonces los levitas deben ser puestos delante de Aarón y sus hijos, para ser ofrecidos como una ofrenda al Señor.
14Así que debes separar a los levitas de los hijos de Israel, y los levitas serán míos.
15Después de eso, los levitas entrarán a hacer lo que sea necesario en la Tienda de reunión; Debes purificarlos y darlos como ofrenda mecida.
16Porque me han sido dados de entre los hijos de Israel; En lugar del primer hijo de toda madre, el primero en nacer en Israel, los he tomado para mí.
17Porque el primer hijo de toda madre entre los hijos de Israel es mío, el primer nacimiento masculino de un hombre o una bestia: el día en que envié la muerte a todos los primeros hijos en la tierra de Egipto, los hice míos.
18Y en lugar de los primeros hijos entre los hijos de Israel, tomé a los levitas.
19Y se los he dado a Aarón y a sus hijos, de entre los hijos de Israel, para que emprendan por ellos toda la obra de la Tienda de reunión, y para quitar el pecado de los hijos de Israel para que no haya maldad sobre ellos cuando se acerquen al lugar santo.
20Todas estas cosas que Moisés y Aarón y los hijos de Israel hicieron a los levitas; como él Señor dio órdenes a Moisés acerca de los levitas, así lo hicieron los hijos de Israel.
21Y los levitas fueron y se purificaron del pecado, y sus ropas fueron lavadas, y Aarón los dio en ofrenda mecida delante del Señor; y Aarón quitó sus pecados y los purificó.
22Y luego los levitas entraron a hacer su trabajo en la tienda de reunión delante de Aarón y sus hijos: todas las órdenes que el Señor le había dado a Moisés acerca de los levitas se pusieron en práctica.
23Y él Señor dijo a Moisés:
24Esta es la regla para los levitas: los de veinticinco años y más deben entrar y hacer el trabajo de la tienda de reunión;
25Pero después de cumplir los cincuenta años, deben abandonar su trabajo y no hacerlo más;
26Pero servirán con sus hermanos en la Tienda de la reunión, cuidándolo pero sin hacer ningún trabajo. Esto es lo que debes hacer en relación con los levitas y su servicio.

1Y HABLÓ Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
2Habla á Aarón, y dile: Cuando encendieres las lámparas, las siete lámparas alumbrarán frente á frente del candelero.
3Y Aarón lo hizo así; que encendió enfrente del candelero sus lámparas, como Jehová lo mandó á Moisés.
4Y esta era la hechura del candelero: de oro labrado á martillo; desde su pie hasta sus flores era labrado á martillo: conforme al modelo que Jehová mostró á Moisés, así hizo el candelero.
5Y Jehová habló á Moisés, diciendo:
6Toma á los Levitas de entre los hijos de Israel, y expíalos.
7Y así les harás para expiarlos: rocía sobre ellos el agua de la expiación, y haz pasar la navaja sobre toda su carne, y lavarán sus vestidos, y serán expiados.
8Luego tomarán un novillo, con su presente de flor de harina amasada con aceite; y tomarás otro novillo para expiación.
9Y harás llegar los Levitas delante del tabernáculo del testimonio, y juntarás toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel;
10Y cuando habrás hecho llegar los Levitas delante de Jehová, pondrán los hijos de Israel sus manos sobre los Levitas;
11Y ofrecerá Aarón los Levitas delante de Jehová en ofrenda de los hijos de Israel, y servirán en el ministerio de Jehová.
12Y los Levitas pondrán sus manos sobre las cabezas de los novillos: y ofrecerás el uno por expiación, y el otro en holocausto á Jehová, para expiar los Levitas.
13Y harás presentar los Levitas delante de Aarón, y delante de sus hijos, y los ofrecerás en ofrenda á Jehová.
14Así apartarás los Levitas de entre los hijos de Israel; y serán míos los Levitas.
15Y después de eso vendrán los Levitas á ministrar en el tabernáculo del testimonio: los expiarás pues, y los ofrecerás en ofrenda.
16Porque enteramente me son á mí dados los Levitas de entre los hijos de Israel, en lugar de todo aquel que abre matriz; helos tomado para mí en lugar de los primogénitos de todos los hijos de Israel.
17Porque mío es todo primogénito en los hijos de Israel, así de hombres como de animales; desde el día que yo herí todo primogénito en la tierra de Egipto, los santifiqué para mí.
18Y he tomado los Levitas en lugar de todos los primogénitos en los hijos de Israel.
19Y yo he dado en don los Levitas á Aarón y á sus hijos de entre los hijos de Israel, para que sirvan el ministerio de los hijos de Israel en el tabernáculo del testimonio, y reconcilien á los hijos de Israel; porque no haya plaga en los hijos de Israel, llegando los hijos de Israel al santuario.
20Y Moisés, y Aarón, y toda la congregación de los hijos de Israel, hicieron de los Levitas conforme á todas las cosas que mandó Jehová á Moisés acerca de los Levitas; así hicieron de ellos los hijos de Israel.
21Y los Levitas se purificaron, y lavaron sus vestidos; y Aarón los ofreció en ofrenda delante de Jehová, é hizo Aarón expiación por ellos para purificarlos.
22Y así vinieron después los Levitas para servir en su ministerio en el tabernáculo del testimonio, delante de Aarón y delante de sus hijos: de la manera que mandó Jehová á Moisés acerca de los Levitas, así hicieron con ellos.
23Y habló Jehová á Moisés, diciendo:
24Esto cuanto á los Levitas: de veinte y cinco años arriba entrarán á hacer su oficio en el servicio del tabernáculo del testimonio:
25Mas desde los cincuenta años volverán del oficio de su ministerio, y nunca más servirán:
26Pero servirán con sus hermanos en el tabernáculo del testimonio, para hacer la guarda, bien que no servirán en el ministerio. Así harás de los Levitas cuanto á sus oficios.

1And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
2Speak unto Aaron, and say unto him, When thou lightest the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light over against the candlestick.
3And Aaron did so; he lighted the lamps thereof over against the candlestick, as the LORD commanded Moses.
4And this work of the candlestick was of beaten gold, unto the shaft thereof, unto the flowers thereof, was beaten work: according unto the pattern which the LORD had shewed Moses, so he made the candlestick.
5And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
6Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
7And thus shalt thou do unto them, to cleanse them: Sprinkle water of purifying upon them, and let them shave all their flesh, and let them wash their clothes, and so make themselves clean.
8Then let them take a young bullock with his meat offering, even fine flour mingled with oil, and another young bullock shalt thou take for a sin offering.
9And thou shalt bring the Levites before the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt gather the whole assembly of the children of Israel together:
10And thou shalt bring the Levites before the LORD: and the children of Israel shall put their hands upon the Levites:
11And Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for an offering of the children of Israel, that they may execute the service of the LORD.
12And the Levites shall lay their hands upon the heads of the bullocks: and thou shalt offer the one for a sin offering, and the other for a burnt offering, unto the LORD, to make an atonement for the Levites.
13And thou shalt set the Levites before Aaron, and before his sons, and offer them for an offering unto the LORD.
14Thus shalt thou separate the Levites from among the children of Israel: and the Levites shall be mine.
15And after that shall the Levites go in to do the service of the tabernacle of the congregation: and thou shalt cleanse them, and offer them for an offering.
16For they are wholly given unto me from among the children of Israel; instead of such as open every womb, even instead of the firstborn of all the children of Israel, have I taken them unto me.
17For all the firstborn of the children of Israel are mine, both man and beast: on the day that I smote every firstborn in the land of Egypt I sanctified them for myself.
18And I have taken the Levites for all the firstborn of the children of Israel.
19And I have given the Levites as a gift to Aaron and to his sons from among the children of Israel, to do the service of the children of Israel in the tabernacle of the congregation, and to make an atonement for the children of Israel: that there be no plague among the children of Israel, when the children of Israel come nigh unto the sanctuary.
20And Moses, and Aaron, and all the congregation of the children of Israel, did to the Levites according unto all that the LORD commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did the children of Israel unto them.
21And the Levites were purified, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them as an offering before the LORD; and Aaron made an atonement for them to cleanse them.
22And after that went the Levites in to do their service in the tabernacle of the congregation before Aaron, and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so did they unto them.
23And the LORD spake unto Moses, saying,
24This is it that belongeth unto the Levites: from twenty and five years old and upward they shall go in to wait upon the service of the tabernacle of the congregation:
25And from the age of fifty years they shall cease waiting upon the service thereof, and shall serve no more:
26But shall minister with their brethren in the tabernacle of the congregation, to keep the charge, and shall do no service. Thus shalt thou do unto the Levites touching their charge.
World English Bible
1The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
2“Speak to Aaron, and tell him, ‘When you light the lamps, the seven lamps shall give light in front of the lamp stand.’”
3Aaron did so. He lit its lamps to light the area in front of the lamp stand, as the LORD commanded Moses.
4This was the workmanship of the lamp stand, beaten work of gold. From its base to its flowers, it was beaten work. He made the lamp stand according to the pattern which the LORD had shown Moses.
5The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
6“Take the Levites from among the children of Israel, and cleanse them.
7You shall do this to them to cleanse them: sprinkle the water of cleansing on them, let them shave their whole bodies with a razor, let them wash their clothes, and cleanse themselves.
8Then let them take a young bull and its meal offering, fine flour mixed with oil; and another young bull you shall take for a sin offering.
9You shall present the Levites before the Tent of Meeting. You shall assemble the whole congregation of the children of Israel.
10You shall present the Levites before the LORD. The children of Israel shall lay their hands on the Levites,
11and Aaron shall offer the Levites before the LORD for a wave offering on the behalf of the children of Israel, that it may be theirs to do the service of the LORD.
12“The Levites shall lay their hands on the heads of the bulls, and you shall offer the one for a sin offering and the other for a burnt offering to the LORD, to make atonement for the Levites.
13You shall set the Levites before Aaron and before his sons, and offer them as a wave offering to the LORD.
14Thus you shall separate the Levites from among the children of Israel, and the Levites shall be mine.
15“After that, the Levites shall go in to do the service of the Tent of Meeting. You shall cleanse them, and offer them as a wave offering.
16For they are wholly given to me from among the children of Israel; instead of all who open the womb, even the firstborn of all the children of Israel, I have taken them to me.

21The Levites purified themselves from sin, and they washed their clothes; and Aaron offered them for a wave offering before the LORD and Aaron made atonement for them to cleanse them.
22After that, the Levites went in to do their service in the Tent of Meeting before Aaron and before his sons: as the LORD had commanded Moses concerning the Levites, so they did to them.
23The LORD spoke to Moses, saying,
24“This is what is assigned to the Levites: from twenty-five years old and upward they shall go in to wait on the service in the work of the Tent of Meeting;
25and from the age of fifty years they shall retire from doing the work, and shall serve no more,
26but shall assist their brothers in the Tent of Meeting, to perform the duty, and shall perform no service. This is how you shall have the Levites do their duties.”
