Paul, prisonnier de Jésus Christ, et le frère Timothée, à Philémon, le bien-aimé et notre compagnon d’œuvre,

PABLO, prisionero de Jesucristo, y el hermano Timoteo, á Filemón amado, y coadjutor nuestro;

Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,

Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon, our beloved fellow worker,

et à la sœur Apphie, et à Archippe notre compagnon d’armes, et à l’assemblée qui †se réunit dans ta maison :

Y á la amada Apphia, y á Archîpo, compañero de nuestra milicia, y á la iglesia que está en tu casa:

And to our beloved Apphia, and Archippus our fellowsoldier, and to the church in thy house:

to the beloved Apphia, to Archippus our fellow soldier, and to the assembly in your house:

Grâce et paix à vous, de la part de Dieu notre Père et du seigneur Jésus Christ !

Je rends grâces à mon Dieu, faisant toujours mention de toi dans mes prières,

Doy gracias á mi Dios, haciendo siempre memoria de ti en mis oraciones.

I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,

I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers,

apprenant l’amour et la foi que tu as envers le seigneur Jésus et pour tous les saints ;

Oyendo tu caridad, y la fe que tienes en el Señor Jesús, y para con todos los santos;

Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;

hearing of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,

en sorte que ta communion dans la foi opère en reconnaissant tout le bien qui est en nous à l’égard du christ Jésus.

Para que la comunicación de tu fe sea eficaz, en el conocimiento de todo el bien que está en vosotros, por Cristo Jesús.

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

that the fellowship of your faith may become effective in the knowledge of every good thing which is in us in Christ Jesus.

Car nous avons une grande joie et une grande consolation dans ton amour, parce que les entrailles des saints sont rafraîchies par toi, frère.

Porque tenemos gran gozo y consolación de tu caridad, de que por ti, oh hermano, han sido recreadas las entrañas de los santos.

For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.

For we have much joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.

C’est pourquoi, tout en ayant une grande liberté en Christ de te commander ce qui convient,

Por lo cual, aunque tengo mucha resolución en Cristo para mandarte lo que conviene,

Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,

Therefore though I have all boldness in Christ to command you that which is appropriate,

– à cause de l’amour, je te prie plutôt, étant tel que je suis, Paul, un vieillard, et maintenant aussi prisonnier de Jésus Christ,

Ruégote más bien por amor, siendo tal cual soy, Pablo viejo, y aun ahora prisionero de Jesucristo:

Yet for love’s sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

yet for love’s sake I rather appeal to you, being such a one as Paul, the aged, but also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

je te prie pour mon enfant que j’ai engendré dans les liens, Onésime,

Ruégote por mi hijo Onésimo, que he engendrado en mis prisiones,

I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

I appeal to you for my child Onesimus, whom I have become the father of in my chains,

qui t’a été autrefois inutile, mais qui maintenant est utile à toi et à moi,

El cual en otro tiempo te fué inútil, mas ahora á ti y á mí es útil;

Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:

who once was useless to you, but now is useful to you and to me.

lequel je t’ai renvoyé, – lui, mes propres entrailles.

El cual te vuelvo á enviar; tú pues, recíbele como á mis entrañas.

Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:

I am sending him back. Therefore receive him, that is, my own heart,

Moi, j’aurais voulu le retenir auprès de moi, afin qu’il me serve pour toi dans les liens de l’évangile ;

Yo quisiera detenerle conmigo, para que en lugar de ti me sirviese en las prisiones del evangelio;

Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:

whom I desired to keep with me, that on your behalf he might serve me in my chains for the Good News.

mais je n’ai rien voulu faire sans ton avis, afin que le bien que tu fais ne soit pas l’effet de la contrainte, mais qu’il soit volontaire.

Mas nada quise hacer sin tu consejo, porque tu beneficio no fuese como de necesidad, sino voluntario.

But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

But I was willing to do nothing without your consent, that your goodness would not be as of necessity, but of free will.

Car c’est peut-être pour cette raison qu’il a été séparé †de toi pour un temps, afin que tu le possèdes pour toujours,

Porque acaso por esto se ha apartado de ti por algún tiempo, para que le recibieses para siempre;

For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;

For perhaps he was therefore separated from you for a while that you would have him forever,

non plus comme un esclave, mais au-dessus d’un esclave, comme un frère bien-aimé, spécialement de moi, et combien plus de toi, soit dans la chair, soit dans le Seigneur.

No ya como siervo, antes más que siervo, como hermano amado, mayormente de mí, pero cuánto más de ti, en la carne y en el Señor.

Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?

no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, a beloved brother—especially to me, but how much rather to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.

Si donc tu me tiens pour associé †à toi, reçois-le comme moi-même ;

Así que, si me tienes por compañero, recíbele como á mí.

If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.

If then you count me a partner, receive him as you would receive me.

mais, s’il t’a fait quelque tort ou s’il te doit quelque chose, mets-le-moi en compte.

Y si en algo te dañó, ó te debe, ponlo á mi cuenta.

If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account;

But if he has wronged you at all or owes you anything, put that to my account.

Moi, Paul, je l’ai écrit de ma propre main ; moi, je paierai, pour ne pas te dire que tu te dois toi-même aussi à moi.

Yo Pablo lo escribí de mi mano, yo lo pagaré: por no decirte que aun á ti mismo te me debes demás.

I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.

I, Paul, write this with my own hand: I will repay it (not to mention to you that you owe to me even your own self besides).

Oui, frère, que moi, je tire ce profit de toi dans le Seigneur : rafraîchis mes entrailles en Christ.

Sí, hermano, góceme yo de ti en el Señor; recrea mis entrañas en el Señor.

Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.

Yes, brother, let me have joy from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in the Lord.

Ayant de la confiance dans ton obéissance, je t’ai écrit, sachant que tu feras même plus que je ne dis.

Te he escrito confiando en tu obediencia, sabiendo que aun harás más de lo que digo.

Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.

Having confidence in your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even beyond what I say.

Mais en même temps, prépare-moi aussi un logement, car j’espère que, par vos prières, je vous serai donné.

Y asimismo prepárame también alojamiento; porque espero que por vuestras oraciones os tengo de ser concedido.

But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

Also, prepare a guest room for me, for I hope that through your prayers I will be restored to you.
