Filemón 1

So ermahne ich dich um meines Sohnes willen, Onesimus, den ich gezeuget habe in meinen Banden,

PABLO, prisionero de Jesucristo, y el hermano Timoteo, á Filemón amado, y coadjutor nuestro;

Paul, a prisoner of Jesus Christ, and Timothy our brother, unto Philemon our dearly beloved, and fellowlabourer,

Paul, a prisoner of Christ Jesus, and Timothy our brother, to Philemon, our beloved fellow worker,

welcher weiland dir unnütze, nun aber dir und mir wohl nütze ist: den habe ich wiedergesandt.

Y á la amada Apphia, y á Archîpo, compañero de nuestra milicia, y á la iglesia que está en tu casa:

Du aber wollest ihn, das ist, mein eigen Herz, annehmen.

Gracia á vosotros y paz de Dios nuestro Padre, y del Señor Jesucristo.

Denn ich wollte ihn bei mir behalten , daß er mir an deiner Statt dienete in den Banden des Evangeliums;

Doy gracias á mi Dios, haciendo siempre memoria de ti en mis oraciones.

I thank my God, making mention of thee always in my prayers,

I thank my God always, making mention of you in my prayers,

aber ohne deinen Willen wollte ich nichts tun, auf daß dein Gutes nicht wäre genötiget, sondern freiwillig.

Oyendo tu caridad, y la fe que tienes en el Señor Jesús, y para con todos los santos;

Hearing of thy love and faith, which thou hast toward the Lord Jesus, and toward all saints;

hearing of your love and of the faith which you have toward the Lord Jesus and toward all the saints,

Vielleicht aber ist er darum eine Zeitlang von dir kommen, daß du ihn ewig wieder hättest,

Para que la comunicación de tu fe sea eficaz, en el conocimiento de todo el bien que está en vosotros, por Cristo Jesús.

That the communication of thy faith may become effectual by the acknowledging of every good thing which is in you in Christ Jesus.

that the fellowship of your faith may become effective in the knowledge of every good thing which is in us in Christ Jesus.

nun nicht mehr als einen Knecht, sondern mehr denn einen Knecht, einen lieben Bruder, sonderlich mir; wie viel mehr aber dir, beide, nach dem Fleisch und in dem HERRN.

Porque tenemos gran gozo y consolación de tu caridad, de que por ti, oh hermano, han sido recreadas las entrañas de los santos.

For we have great joy and consolation in thy love, because the bowels of the saints are refreshed by thee, brother.

For we have much joy and comfort in your love, because the hearts of the saints have been refreshed through you, brother.

So du nun mich hältst für deinen Gesellen, so wollest du ihn als mich selbst annehmen.

Por lo cual, aunque tengo mucha resolución en Cristo para mandarte lo que conviene,

Wherefore, though I might be much bold in Christ to enjoin thee that which is convenient,

Therefore though I have all boldness in Christ to command you that which is appropriate,

So er aber dir etwas Schaden getan hat oder schuldig ist, das rechne mir zu.

Ruégote más bien por amor, siendo tal cual soy, Pablo viejo, y aun ahora prisionero de Jesucristo:

Yet for love’s sake I rather beseech thee, being such an one as Paul the aged, and now also a prisoner of Jesus Christ.

Ich, Paulus, hab' es geschrieben mit meiner Hand; ich will's bezahlen. Ich schweige, daß du dich selbst mir schuldig bist.

Ruégote por mi hijo Onésimo, que he engendrado en mis prisiones,

I beseech thee for my son Onesimus, whom I have begotten in my bonds:

I appeal to you for my child Onesimus, whom I have become the father of in my chains,

Ja, lieber Bruder, gönne mir, daß ich mich an dir ergötze in dem HERRN; erquicke mein Herz in dem HERRN!

El cual en otro tiempo te fué inútil, mas ahora á ti y á mí es útil;

Which in time past was to thee unprofitable, but now profitable to thee and to me:

who once was useless to you, but now is useful to you and to me.

Ich hab' aus Zuversicht deines Gehorsams dir geschrieben; denn ich weiß, du wirst mehr tun, denn ich sage.

El cual te vuelvo á enviar; tú pues, recíbele como á mis entrañas.

Whom I have sent again: thou therefore receive him, that is, mine own bowels:

I am sending him back. Therefore receive him, that is, my own heart,

Daneben bereite mir die Herberge; denn ich hoffe, daß ich durch euer Gebet euch geschenket werde.

Yo quisiera detenerle conmigo, para que en lugar de ti me sirviese en las prisiones del evangelio;

Whom I would have retained with me, that in thy stead he might have ministered unto me in the bonds of the gospel:

whom I desired to keep with me, that on your behalf he might serve me in my chains for the Good News.

Es grüßet dich Epaphras, mein Mitgefangener in Christo Jesu,

Mas nada quise hacer sin tu consejo, porque tu beneficio no fuese como de necesidad, sino voluntario.

But without thy mind would I do nothing; that thy benefit should not be as it were of necessity, but willingly.

But I was willing to do nothing without your consent, that your goodness would not be as of necessity, but of free will.

Porque acaso por esto se ha apartado de ti por algún tiempo, para que le recibieses para siempre;

For perhaps he therefore departed for a season, that thou shouldest receive him for ever;

For perhaps he was therefore separated from you for a while that you would have him forever,

Die Gnade unsers HERRN Jesu Christi sei mit eurem Geist! Amen. «Geschrieben von Rom durch Onesimus.»

No ya como siervo, antes más que siervo, como hermano amado, mayormente de mí, pero cuánto más de ti, en la carne y en el Señor.

Not now as a servant, but above a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much more unto thee, both in the flesh, and in the Lord?

no longer as a slave, but more than a slave, a beloved brother—especially to me, but how much rather to you, both in the flesh and in the Lord.

Nachdem vorzeiten Gott manchmal und mancherlei Weise geredet hat zu den Vätern durch die Propheten,

Así que, si me tienes por compañero, recíbele como á mí.

If thou count me therefore a partner, receive him as myself.

If then you count me a partner, receive him as you would receive me.

hat er am letzten in diesen Tagen zu uns geredet durch den Sohn, welchen er gesetzt hat zum Erben über alles, durch welchen er auch die Welt gemacht hat;

Y si en algo te dañó, ó te debe, ponlo á mi cuenta.

If he hath wronged thee, or oweth thee ought, put that on mine account;

But if he has wronged you at all or owes you anything, put that to my account.

welcher, sintemal er ist der Glanz seiner HERRLIchkeit und das Ebenbild seines Wesens und trägt alle Dinge mit seinem kräftigen Wort und hat gemacht die Reinigung unserer Sünden durch sich selbst, hat er sich gesetzt zu der Rechten der Majestät in der Höhe,

Yo Pablo lo escribí de mi mano, yo lo pagaré: por no decirte que aun á ti mismo te me debes demás.

I Paul have written it with mine own hand, I will repay it: albeit I do not say to thee how thou owest unto me even thine own self besides.

I, Paul, write this with my own hand: I will repay it (not to mention to you that you owe to me even your own self besides).

so viel besser worden denn die Engel, so gar viel einen höhern Namen er vor ihnen ererbet hat.

Sí, hermano, góceme yo de ti en el Señor; recrea mis entrañas en el Señor.

Yea, brother, let me have joy of thee in the Lord: refresh my bowels in the Lord.

Yes, brother, let me have joy from you in the Lord. Refresh my heart in the Lord.

Denn zu welchem Engel hat er jemals gesagt: Du bist mein Sohn, heute habe ich dich gezeuget? Und abermal: Ich werde sein Vater sein, und er wird mein Sohn sein?

Te he escrito confiando en tu obediencia, sabiendo que aun harás más de lo que digo.

Having confidence in thy obedience I wrote unto thee, knowing that thou wilt also do more than I say.

Having confidence in your obedience, I write to you, knowing that you will do even beyond what I say.

Und abermal, da er einführet den Erstgeborenen in die Welt, spricht er: Und es sollen ihn alle Gottesengel anbeten.

Y asimismo prepárame también alojamiento; porque espero que por vuestras oraciones os tengo de ser concedido.

But withal prepare me also a lodging: for I trust that through your prayers I shall be given unto you.

Also, prepare a guest room for me, for I hope that through your prayers I will be restored to you.

Von den Engeln spricht er zwar: Er macht seine Engel Geister und seine Diener Feuerflammen;

Te saludan Epafras, mi compañero en la prisión por Cristo Jesús,

There salute thee Epaphras, my fellowprisoner in Christ Jesus;

Epaphras, my fellow prisoner in Christ Jesus, greets you,

aber von dem Sohn: Gott, dein Stuhl währet von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit; das Zepter deines Reichs ist ein richtiges Zepter.

Du hast geliebet die Gerechtigkeit und gehasset die Ungerechtigkeit; darum hat dich, o Gott, gesalbet dein Gott mit dem Öle der Freuden über deine Genossen;

La gracia de nuestro Señor Jesucristo sea con vuestro espíritu. Amén. A Filemón fué enviada de Roma por Onésimo, siervo.
