Denn urn des Werks Christi willen ist er dem Tode so nahe kommen, da ersein Leben gering bedachte, auf daß er mir dienete an eurer Statt.

Porque por la obra de Cristo estuvo cercano á la muerte, poniendo su vida para suplir vuestra falta en mi servicio.

Because for the work of Christ he was nigh unto death, not regarding his life, to supply your lack of service toward me.

because for the work of Christ he came near to death, risking his life to supply that which was lacking in your service toward me.
