POR tanto, si hay alguna consolación en Cristo; si algún refrigerio de amor; si alguna comunión del Espíritu; si algunas entrañas y misericordias,
If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

A atitude de vocês deve ser semelhante àquela que nos foi mostrada por Cristo Jesus,

que, embora sendo Deus, não exigiu nem se apegou a seus direitos como Deus,

who, existing in the form of God, didn’t consider equality with God a thing to be grasped,
mas esvaziou-se a si mesmo, vindo a ser servo e tornando-se semelhante aos homens.
Sin embargo, se anonadó á sí mismo, tomando forma de siervo, hecho semejante á los hombres;
