Del resto, fratelli miei, rallegratevi nel Signore. A me certo non è grave lo scrivervi le medesime cose, e per voi è sicuro.

RESTA, hermanos, que os gocéis en el Señor. A mí, á la verdad, no es molesto el escribiros las mismas cosas, y para vosotros es seguro.

Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed is not grievous, but for you it is safe.

Guardatevi dai cani, guardatevi dai cattivi operai, guardatevi da quei della mutilazione;

Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.

poiché i veri circoncisi siamo noi, che offriamo il nostro culto per mezzo dello Spirito di Dio, che ci gloriamo in Cristo Gesù, e non ci confidiamo nella carne;

Porque nosotros somos la circuncisión, los que servimos en espíritu á Dios, y nos gloriamos en Cristo Jesús, no teniendo confianza en la carne.

For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in Christ Jesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

quanto allo zelo, persecutore della chiesa; quanto alla giustizia che è nella legge, irreprensibile.

Ma le cose che m’eran guadagni, io le ho reputate danno a cagion di Cristo.

Pero las cosas que para mí eran ganancias, helas reputado pérdidas por amor de Cristo.

Anzi, a dir vero, io reputo anche ogni cosa essere un danno di fronte alla eccellenza della conoscenza do Cristo Gesù, mio Signore, per il quale rinunziai a tutte codeste cose e le reputo tanta spazzatura affin di guadagnare Cristo,

Y ciertamente, aun reputo todas las cosas pérdida por el eminente conocimiento de Cristo Jesús, mi Señor, por amor del cual lo he perdido todo, y téngolo por estiércol, para ganar á Cristo,

Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

Yes most certainly, and I count all things to be a loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus, my Lord, for whom I suffered the loss of all things, and count them nothing but refuse, that I may gain Christ

e d’esser trovato in lui avendo non una giustizia mia, derivante dalla legge, ma quella che si ha mediante la fede in Cristo; la giustizia che vien da Dio, basata sulla fede;

Y ser hallado en él, no teniendo mi justicia, que es por la ley, sino la que es por la fe de Cristo, la justicia que es de Dios por la fe;

And be found in him, not having mine own righteousness, which is of the law, but that which is through the faith of Christ, the righteousness which is of God by faith:

in guisa ch’io possa conoscere esso Cristo, e la potenza della sua risurrezione, e la comunione delle sue sofferenze, essendo reso conforme a lui nella sua morte,

A fin de conocerle, y la virtud de su resurrección, y la participación de sus padecimientos, en conformidad á su muerte,

That I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death;

per giungere in qualche modo alla risurrezione dei morti.

Si en alguna manera llegase á la resurrección de los muertos.

Non ch’io abbia già ottenuto il premio o che sia già arrivato alla perfezione; ma proseguo il corso se mai io possa afferrare il premio; poiché anch’io sono stato afferrato da Cristo Gesù.

No que ya haya alcanzado, ni que ya sea perfecto; sino que prosigo, por ver si alcanzo aquello para lo cual fuí también alcanzado de Cristo Jesús.

Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.

Fratelli, io non reputo d’avere ancora ottenuto il premio; ma una cosa fo: dimenticando le cose che stanno dietro e protendendomi verso quelle che stanno dinanzi,

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before,

Brothers, I don’t regard myself as yet having taken hold, but one thing I do: forgetting the things which are behind and stretching forward to the things which are before,

proseguo il corso verso la mèta per ottenere il premio della superna vocazione di Dio in Cristo Gesù.

Prosigo al blanco, al premio de la soberana vocación de Dios en Cristo Jesús.

I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus.

Sia questo dunque il sentimento di quanti siamo maturi; e se in alcuna cosa voi sentite altrimenti, Iddio vi rivelerà anche quella.

Así que, todos los que somos perfectos, esto mismo sintamos: y si otra cosa sentís, esto también os revelará Dios.

Let us therefore, as many as be perfect, be thus minded: and if in any thing ye be otherwise minded, God shall reveal even this unto you.

Soltanto, dal punto al quale siamo arrivati, continuiamo a camminare per la stessa via.

Empero en aquello á que hemos llegado, vamos por la misma regla, sintamos una misma cosa.

Nevertheless, whereto we have already attained, let us walk by the same rule, let us mind the same thing.

Siate miei imitatori, fratelli, e riguardate a coloro che camminano secondo l’esempio che avete in noi.

Hermanos, sed imitadores de mí, y mirad los que así anduvieren como nos tenéis por ejemplo.

Brethren, be followers together of me, and mark them which walk so as ye have us for an ensample.

Brothers, be imitators together of me, and note those who walk this way, even as you have us for an example.

Perché molti camminano (ve l’ho detto spesso e ve lo dico anche ora piangendo), da nemici della croce di Cristo;

Porque muchos andan, de los cuales os dije muchas veces, y aun ahora lo digo llorando, que son enemigos de la cruz de Cristo:

la fine de’ quali è la perdizione, il cui dio è il ventre, e la cui gloria è in quel che torna a loro vergogna; gente che ha l’animo alle cose della terra.

Quanto a noi, la nostra cittadinanza è ne’ cieli, d’onde anche aspettiamo come Salvatore il Signor Gesù Cristo,

Mas nuestra vivienda es en los cielos; de donde también esperamos al Salvador, al Señor Jesucristo;

For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:

il quale trasformerà il corpo della nostra umiliazione rendendolo conforme al corpo della sua gloria, in virtù della potenza per la quale egli può anche sottoporsi ogni cosa.

El cual transformará el cuerpo de nuestra bajeza, para ser semejante al cuerpo de su gloria, por la operación con la cual puede también sujetar á sí todas las cosas.

Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
