C'est pourquoi, mes bien-aimés et très chers frères, ma joie et ma couronne, demeurez ainsi fermes dans le Seigneur, bien-aimés.

ASÍ que, hermanos míos amados y deseados, gozo y corona mía, estad así firmes en el Señor, amados.

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

J'exhorte Evodie et j'exhorte Syntyche à avoir un même sentiment dans le Seigneur.

A Euodias ruego, y á Syntychê exhorto, que sientan lo mismo en el Señor.

I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same way in the Lord.

Oui, je te prie, toi aussi, mon fidèle collègue, aide-les, elles qui ont combattu avec moi pour l'Evangile, aussi bien que Clément, et mes autres compagnons de travaux, dont les noms sont dans le livre de vie.

Asimismo te ruego también á ti, hermano compañero, ayuda á las que trabajaron juntamente conmigo en el evangelio, con Clemente también, y los demás mis colaboradores, cuyos nombres están en el libro de la vida.

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

Yes, I beg you also, true partner, help these women, for they labored with me in the Good News with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

Réjouissez-vous toujours dans le Seigneur ; je le dis encore : Réjouissez-vous.

Gozaos en el Señor siempre: otra vez digo: Que os gocéis.

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Que votre douceur soit connue de tous les hommes. Le Seigneur est proche.

Vuestra modestia sea conocida de todos los hombres. El Señor está cerca.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Ne vous inquiétez de rien, mais en toute chose faites connaître vos demandes à Dieu, par la prière et la supplication, avec des actions de grâces ;

Por nada estéis afanosos; sino sean notorias vuestras peticiones delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con hacimiento de gracias.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

et la paix de Dieu, laquelle surpasse toute intelligence, gardera vos cœurs et vos pensées en Jésus-Christ.

Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepuja todo entendimiento, guardará vuestros corazones y vuestros entendimientos en Cristo Jesús.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Au reste, frères, que toutes les choses qui sont vraies, toutes les choses honnêtes, toutes les choses justes, toutes les choses pures, toutes les choses aimables, toutes les choses de bonne réputation, où il y a quelque vertu et quelque louange, que toutes ces choses occupent vos pensées.

Por lo demás, hermanos, todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo honesto, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo amable, todo lo que es de buen nombre; si hay virtud alguna, si alguna alabanza, en esto pensad.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Celles aussi que vous avez apprises, et reçues, et entendues, et vues en moi, faites-les, et le Dieu de la paix sera avec vous.

Lo que aprendisteis y recibisteis y oísteis y visteis en mí, esto haced; y el Dios de paz será con vosotros.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

Or, je me suis grandement réjoui dans le Seigneur de ce qu'enfin vous avez fait revivre le soin que vous avez de moi ; à quoi vous pensiez aussi, mais l'occasion vous manquait.

Mas en gran manera me gocé en el Señor de que ya al fin ha reflorecido vuestro cuidado de mí; de lo cual aun estabais solícitos, pero os faltaba la oportunidad.

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

But I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your thought for me; in which you did indeed take thought, but you lacked opportunity.

Je ne dis pas cela en raison de mon indigence ; car j'ai appris à être content de l'état où je me trouve.

No lo digo en razón de indigencia, pues he aprendido á contentarme con lo que tengo.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

Je sais être humilié, je sais aussi être dans l'abondance ; partout et en toutes choses, j'ai appris à être rassasié et à avoir faim ; à être dans l'abondance et à être dans l'indigence ;

Sé estar humillado, y sé tener abundancia: en todo y por todo estoy enseñado, así para hartura como para hambre, así para tener abundancia como para padecer necesidad.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.

je puis tout en Celui qui me fortifie.

Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Néanmoins vous avez bien fait de prendre part à mon affliction.

Sin embargo, bien hicisteis que comunicasteis juntamente á mi tribulación.

Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

However you did well that you shared in my affliction.

Or, vous savez aussi, vous, Philippiens, qu'au commencement de l'Evangile, lorsque je partis de la Macédoine, aucune Eglise n'entra en compte avec moi pour ce qu'elle donnait et recevait, si ce n'est vous seuls.

Y sabéis también vosotros, oh Filipenses, que al principio del evangelio, cuando partí de Macedonia, ninguna iglesia me comunicó en razón de dar y recibir, sino vosotros solos.

Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.

Car, même à Thessalonique, vous m'envoyâtes, et à deux reprises, de quoi pourvoir à mes besoins

Porque aun á Tesalónica me enviasteis lo necesario una y dos veces.

For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to my need.

Ce n'est pas que je recherche les présents, mais je recherche le fruit qui se multiplie pour votre compte.

No porque busque dádivas; mas busco fruto que abunde en vuestra cuenta.

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account.

Or j'ai tout reçu, et je suis dans l'abondance ; j'ai été comblé de biens, en recevant par Epaphrodite ce qui vient de vous comme un parfum de bonne odeur, un sacrifice que Dieu accepte, et qui lui est agréable.

Empero todo lo he recibido, y tengo abundancia: estoy lleno, habiendo recibido de Epafrodito lo que enviasteis, olor de suavidad, sacrificio acepto, agradable á Dios.

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

But I have all things and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.

Et mon Dieu pourvoira à tous vos besoins, selon sa richesse, avec gloire, en Jésus-Christ.

Mi Dios, pues, suplirá todo lo que os falta conforme á sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

Or, à notre Dieu et Père soit la gloire aux siècles des siècles. Amen.

Al Dios pues y Padre nuestro sea gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

Tous les saints vous saluent, et principalement ceux qui sont de la maison de César.

Todos los santos os saludan, y mayormente los que son de casa de César.

All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar’s household.

La grâce du Seigneur Jésus-Christ soit avec votre esprit. Amen.
