Ainsi donc, mes frères bien-aimés et ardemment désirés, ma joie et ma couronne, demeurez ainsi fermes dans le Seigneur, bien-aimés.

ASÍ que, hermanos míos amados y deseados, gozo y corona mía, estad así firmes en el Señor, amados.

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved.

Je supplie Évodie, et je supplie Syntyche, d’avoir une même pensée dans le Seigneur.

A Euodias ruego, y á Syntychê exhorto, que sientan lo mismo en el Señor.

I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same way in the Lord.

Oui, je te prie, toi aussi, vrai compagnon de travail, aide celles qui ont combattu avec moi dans l’évangile avec Clément aussi et mes autres compagnons d’œuvre, dont les noms sont dans le livre de vie.

Asimismo te ruego también á ti, hermano compañero, ayuda á las que trabajaron juntamente conmigo en el evangelio, con Clemente también, y los demás mis colaboradores, cuyos nombres están en el libro de la vida.

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

Yes, I beg you also, true partner, help these women, for they labored with me in the Good News with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

Réjouissez-vous toujours dans le Seigneur ; encore une fois, je vous le dirai : réjouissez-vous.

Gozaos en el Señor siempre: otra vez digo: Que os gocéis.

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”

Que votre douceur soit connue de tous les hommes ; le Seigneur est proche ;

Vuestra modestia sea conocida de todos los hombres. El Señor está cerca.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

ne vous inquiétez de rien, mais, en toutes choses, exposez vos requêtes à Dieu par des prières et des supplications avec des actions de grâces ;

Por nada estéis afanosos; sino sean notorias vuestras peticiones delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con hacimiento de gracias.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

et la paix de Dieu, laquelle surpasse toute intelligence, gardera vos cœurs et vos pensées dans le christ Jésus.

Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepuja todo entendimiento, guardará vuestros corazones y vuestros entendimientos en Cristo Jesús.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Au reste, frères, toutes les choses qui sont vraies, toutes les choses qui sont vénérables, toutes les choses qui sont justes, toutes les choses qui sont pures, toutes les choses qui sont aimables, toutes les choses qui sont de bonne renommée, – s’il y a quelque vertu et quelque louange, – que ces choses occupent vos pensées :

Por lo demás, hermanos, todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo honesto, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo amable, todo lo que es de buen nombre; si hay virtud alguna, si alguna alabanza, en esto pensad.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

ce que vous avez et appris, et reçu, et entendu, et vu en moi, – faites ces choses, et le Dieu de paix sera avec vous.

Lo que aprendisteis y recibisteis y oísteis y visteis en mí, esto haced; y el Dios de paz será con vosotros.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

Or je me suis grandement réjoui dans le Seigneur de ce que maintenant enfin vous avez fait revivre votre pensée pour moi, quoique vous y ayez bien aussi pensé, mais l’occasion vous manquait ;

Mas en gran manera me gocé en el Señor de que ya al fin ha reflorecido vuestro cuidado de mí; de lo cual aun estabais solícitos, pero os faltaba la oportunidad.

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

But I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your thought for me; in which you did indeed take thought, but you lacked opportunity.

non que je parle ayant égard à des privations, car, moi, j’ai appris à être content en moi-même dans les circonstances où je me trouve.

No lo digo en razón de indigencia, pues he aprendido á contentarme con lo que tengo.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.

Je sais être abaissé, je sais aussi être dans l’abondance ; en toutes choses et à tous égards, je suis enseigné aussi bien à être rassasié qu’à avoir faim, aussi bien à être dans l’abondance qu’à être dans les privations.

Sé estar humillado, y sé tener abundancia: en todo y por todo estoy enseñado, así para hartura como para hambre, así para tener abundancia como para padecer necesidad.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.

Je puis toutes choses en celui qui me fortifie.

Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Néanmoins vous avez bien fait de prendre part à mon affliction.

Sin embargo, bien hicisteis que comunicasteis juntamente á mi tribulación.

Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

However you did well that you shared in my affliction.

Or vous aussi, Philippiens, vous savez qu’au commencement de l’évangile, quand je quittai la Macédoine, aucune assemblée ne me communiqua †rien, pour ce qui est de donner et de recevoir, excepté vous seuls ;

Y sabéis también vosotros, oh Filipenses, que al principio del evangelio, cuando partí de Macedonia, ninguna iglesia me comunicó en razón de dar y recibir, sino vosotros solos.

Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.

car, même à Thessalonique, une fois et même deux fois, vous m’avez fait un envoi pour mes besoins ;

Porque aun á Tesalónica me enviasteis lo necesario una y dos veces.

For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to my need.

non que je recherche un don, mais je recherche du fruit qui abonde pour votre compte.

No porque busque dádivas; mas busco fruto que abunde en vuestra cuenta.

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account.

Or j’ai amplement de tout, et je suis dans l’abondance ; je suis comblé, ayant reçu d’Épaphrodite ce qui †m’a été envoyé de votre part…, un parfum de bonne odeur, un sacrifice acceptable, agréable à Dieu :

Empero todo lo he recibido, y tengo abundancia: estoy lleno, habiendo recibido de Epafrodito lo que enviasteis, olor de suavidad, sacrificio acepto, agradable á Dios.

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

But I have all things and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.

mais mon Dieu suppléera à tous vos besoins selon ses richesses en gloire par le christ Jésus.

Mi Dios, pues, suplirá todo lo que os falta conforme á sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Or à notre Dieu et Père soit la gloire aux siècles des siècles ! Amen.

Al Dios pues y Padre nuestro sea gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever! Amen.

Saluez chaque saint dans le christ Jésus. Les frères qui sont avec moi vous saluent.

Saludad á todos los santos en Cristo Jesús. Los hermanos que están conmigo os saludan.

Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.

Tous les saints vous saluent, et principalement ceux qui sont de la maison de César.

Todos los santos os saludan, y mayormente los que son de casa de César.

All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar’s household.

All the saints greet you, especially those who are of Caesar’s household.

Que la grâce du seigneur Jésus Christ soit avec votre esprit ! Amen.
