C’est pourquoi, mes très chers frères que j’aime tendrement, vous qui êtes ma joie et ma couronne, demeurez ainsi fermes en notre Seigneur, mes bien-aimés.

ASÍ que, hermanos míos amados y deseados, gozo y corona mía, estad así firmes en el Señor, amados.

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved.

Je prie Evodie, et je prie aussi Syntiche, d’avoir un même sentiment au Seigneur.

A Euodias ruego, y á Syntychê exhorto, que sientan lo mismo en el Señor.

I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same way in the Lord.

Je te prie aussi, toi mon vrai compagnon, aide-leur, comme à celles qui ont combattu avec moi dans l’Evangile, avec Clément, et mes autres compagnons d’oeuvre, dont les noms sont écrits au Livre de vie.

Asimismo te ruego también á ti, hermano compañero, ayuda á las que trabajaron juntamente conmigo en el evangelio, con Clemente también, y los demás mis colaboradores, cuyos nombres están en el libro de la vida.

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

Yes, I beg you also, true partner, help these women, for they labored with me in the Good News with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

Réjouissez-vous en notre Seigneur ; je vous le dis encore, réjouissez-vous.

Gozaos en el Señor siempre: otra vez digo: Que os gocéis.

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”

Que votre douceur soit connue de tous les hommes. Le Seigneur est près.

Vuestra modestia sea conocida de todos los hombres. El Señor está cerca.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.

Ne vous inquiétez de rien, mais en toutes choses présentez vos demandes à Dieu par des prières et des supplications, avec des actions de grâces.

Por nada estéis afanosos; sino sean notorias vuestras peticiones delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con hacimiento de gracias.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Et la paix de Dieu, laquelle surpasse toute intelligence, gardera vos coeurs et vos sentiments en Jésus-Christ.

Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepuja todo entendimiento, guardará vuestros corazones y vuestros entendimientos en Cristo Jesús.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Au reste, mes frères, que toutes les choses qui sont véritables, toutes les choses qui sont vénérables, toutes les choses qui sont justes, toutes les choses qui sont pures, toutes les choses qui sont aimables, toutes les choses qui sont de bonne renommée, toutes celles où il y a quelque vertu et quelque louange, pensez à ces choses ;

Por lo demás, hermanos, todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo honesto, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo amable, todo lo que es de buen nombre; si hay virtud alguna, si alguna alabanza, en esto pensad.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.

Car aussi vous les avez apprises, reçues, entendues et vues en moi. Faites ces choses, et le Dieu de paix sera avec vous.

Lo que aprendisteis y recibisteis y oísteis y visteis en mí, esto haced; y el Dios de paz será con vosotros.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

Or je me suis fort réjoui en notre Seigneur, de ce qu’à la fin vous avez fait revivre le soin que vous avez de moi ; à quoi aussi vous pensiez, mais vous n’en aviez pas l’occasion.

Mas en gran manera me gocé en el Señor de que ya al fin ha reflorecido vuestro cuidado de mí; de lo cual aun estabais solícitos, pero os faltaba la oportunidad.

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

But I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your thought for me; in which you did indeed take thought, but you lacked opportunity.

Je ne dis pas ceci ayant égard à quelque indigence : car j’ai appris à être content des choses selon que je me trouve.

No lo digo en razón de indigencia, pues he aprendido á contentarme con lo que tengo.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.

Je sais être abaissé, je sais aussi être dans l’abondance ; partout et en toutes choses je suis instruit tant à être rassasié, qu’à avoir faim ; tant à être dans l’abondance, que dans la disette.

Sé estar humillado, y sé tener abundancia: en todo y por todo estoy enseñado, así para hartura como para hambre, así para tener abundancia como para padecer necesidad.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.

Je puis toutes choses en Christ qui me fortifie.

Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Néanmoins vous avez bien fait de prendre part à mon affliction.

Sin embargo, bien hicisteis que comunicasteis juntamente á mi tribulación.

Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

However you did well that you shared in my affliction.

Vous savez aussi, vous Philippiens, qu’au commencement de la prédication de l’Evangile, quand je partis de Macédoine, aucune Eglise ne me communiqua rien en matière de donner et de recevoir, excepté vous seuls.

Y sabéis también vosotros, oh Filipenses, que al principio del evangelio, cuando partí de Macedonia, ninguna iglesia me comunicó en razón de dar y recibir, sino vosotros solos.

Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.

Et même lorsque j’étais à Thessalonique, vous m’avez envoyé une fois, et même deux fois, ce dont j’avais besoin.

Porque aun á Tesalónica me enviasteis lo necesario una y dos veces.

For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to my need.

Ce n’est pas que je recherche des présents, mais je cherche le fruit qui abonde pour votre compte.

No porque busque dádivas; mas busco fruto que abunde en vuestra cuenta.

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account.

J’ai tout reçu, et je suis dans l’abondance, et j’ai été comblé de biens en recevant d’Epaphrodite ce qui m’a été envoyé de votre part, comme un parfum de bonne odeur, comme un sacrifice que Dieu accepte, et qui lui est agréable.

Empero todo lo he recibido, y tengo abundancia: estoy lleno, habiendo recibido de Epafrodito lo que enviasteis, olor de suavidad, sacrificio acepto, agradable á Dios.

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

But I have all things and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.

Aussi mon Dieu suppléera selon ses richesses à tout ce dont vous aurez besoin, et vous donnera sa gloire en Jésus-Christ.

Mi Dios, pues, suplirá todo lo que os falta conforme á sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Or à notre Dieu et notre Père, soit gloire aux siècles des siècles ; Amen !

Al Dios pues y Padre nuestro sea gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.

Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.

Tous les Saints vous saluent, et principalement ceux qui sont de la maison de César.

Todos los santos os saludan, y mayormente los que son de casa de César.

All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar’s household.
