So then, my beloved and greatly desired brothers, my joy and crown, thus stand firm in the Lord, dear friends.

ASÍ que, hermanos míos amados y deseados, gozo y corona mía, estad así firmes en el Señor, amados.

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

I appeal to Euodia and I appeal to Syntyche ⌞to be in agreement⌟ in the Lord.

A Euodias ruego, y á Syntychê exhorto, que sientan lo mismo en el Señor.

I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same way in the Lord.

Yes, I ask also you, true yokefellow, help them, who struggled along with me in the gospel with both Clement and the rest of my fellow workers whose names are in the book of life.

Asimismo te ruego también á ti, hermano compañero, ayuda á las que trabajaron juntamente conmigo en el evangelio, con Clemente también, y los demás mis colaboradores, cuyos nombres están en el libro de la vida.

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

Yes, I beg you also, true partner, help these women, for they labored with me in the Good News with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

Rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, rejoice.

Gozaos en el Señor siempre: otra vez digo: Que os gocéis.

Let your gentleness be made known to all people. The Lord is near.

Vuestra modestia sea conocida de todos los hombres. El Señor está cerca.

Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.

Por nada estéis afanosos; sino sean notorias vuestras peticiones delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con hacimiento de gracias.

And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepuja todo entendimiento, guardará vuestros corazones y vuestros entendimientos en Cristo Jesús.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are right, whatever things are pure, whatever things are pleasing, whatever things are commendable, if there is any excellence of character and if anything praiseworthy, think about these things.

Por lo demás, hermanos, todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo honesto, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo amable, todo lo que es de buen nombre; si hay virtud alguna, si alguna alabanza, en esto pensad.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

And the things which you have learned and received and heard about and seen in me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you.

Lo que aprendisteis y recibisteis y oísteis y visteis en mí, esto haced; y el Dios de paz será con vosotros.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly that now at last ⌞you have renewed your concern for me⌟, for whom also you were thinking, but you had no opportunity to express it.

Mas en gran manera me gocé en el Señor de que ya al fin ha reflorecido vuestro cuidado de mí; de lo cual aun estabais solícitos, pero os faltaba la oportunidad.

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

But I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your thought for me; in which you did indeed take thought, but you lacked opportunity.

Not that I speak from need, for I have learned to be content in whatever circumstances I am.

No lo digo en razón de indigencia, pues he aprendido á contentarme con lo que tengo.

Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.

I know how both ⌞to make do with little⌟ and I know how ⌞to have an abundance⌟. In everything and in all things I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both ⌞to have an abundance⌟ and to go without.

Sé estar humillado, y sé tener abundancia: en todo y por todo estoy enseñado, así para hartura como para hambre, así para tener abundancia como para padecer necesidad.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.

I am able to do all things by the one who strengthens me.

Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Nevertheless you have done well by sharing with me in my affliction.

Sin embargo, bien hicisteis que comunicasteis juntamente á mi tribulación.

Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

However you did well that you shared in my affliction.

Now you also know, Philippians, that at the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving except you alone,

Y sabéis también vosotros, oh Filipenses, que al principio del evangelio, cuando partí de Macedonia, ninguna iglesia me comunicó en razón de dar y recibir, sino vosotros solos.

Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.

because even in Thessalonica ⌞on more than one occasion⌟ you sent for my need.

Porque aun á Tesalónica me enviasteis lo necesario una y dos veces.

For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

Not that I seek the gift, but I seek for the profit that increases to your account.

No porque busque dádivas; mas busco fruto que abunde en vuestra cuenta.

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

But I have received everything in full and have an abundance; ⌞I am well supplied⌟ because I received from Epaphroditus ⌞what you had sent⌟, a fragrant offering, an acceptable sacrifice, well-pleasing to God.

Empero todo lo he recibido, y tengo abundancia: estoy lleno, habiendo recibido de Epafrodito lo que enviasteis, olor de suavidad, sacrificio acepto, agradable á Dios.

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

But I have all things and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.

And my God will fulfill your every need according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Mi Dios, pues, suplirá todo lo que os falta conforme á sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
