1Also, meine lieben und ersehnten Brüder, meine Freude und meine Krone, besteht also in dem HERRN, ihr Lieben.
2Die Evodia ermahne ich, und die Syntyche ermahne ich, daß sie eines Sinnes seien in dem HERRN.
3Ja ich bitte auch dich, mein treuer Geselle, stehe ihnen bei, die samt mir für das Evangelium gekämpft haben, mit Klemens und meinen andern Gehilfen, welcher Namen sind in dem Buch des Lebens.
4Freuet euch in dem HERRN allewege! Und abermals sage ich: Freuet euch!
5Eure Lindigkeit lasset kund sein allen Menschen! der HERR ist nahe!
6Sorget nichts! sondern in allen Dingen lasset eure Bitten im Gebet und Flehen mit Danksagung vor Gott kund werden.
7Und der Friede Gottes, welcher höher ist denn alle Vernunft, bewahre eure Herzen und Sinne in Christo Jesu!
8Weiter, liebe Brüder, was wahrhaftig ist, was ehrbar, was gerecht, was keusch, was lieblich, was wohllautet, ist etwa eine Tugend, ist etwa ein Lob, dem denket nach!
9Welches ihr auch gelernt und empfangen und gehört und gesehen habt an mir, das tut; so wird der Gott des Friedens mit euch sein.
10Ich bin aber höchlich erfreut in dem HERRN, daß ihr wieder wacker geworden seid, für mich zu sorgen; wiewohl ihr allewege gesorgt habt, aber die Zeit hat's nicht wollen leiden.
11Nicht sage ich das des Mangels halben; denn ich habe gelernt, worin ich bin, mir genügen zu lassen.
12Ich kann niedrig sein und kann hoch sein; ich bin in allen Dingen und bei allen geschickt, beides, satt sein und hungern, beides, übrighaben und Mangel leiden.
13Ich vermag alles durch den, der mich mächtig macht, Christus.
14Doch ihr habt wohl getan, daß ihr euch meiner Trübsal angenommen habt.
15Ihr aber von Philippi wisset, daß von Anfang des Evangeliums, da ich auszog aus Mazedonien, keine Gemeinde mit mir geteilt hat nach der Rechnung der Ausgabe und Einnahme als ihr allein.
16Denn auch gen Thessalonich sandtet ihr zu meiner Notdurft einmal und darnach noch einmal.
17Nicht, daß ich das Geschenk suche; sondern ich suche die Frucht, daß sie reichlich in eurer Rechnung sei.
18Denn ich habe alles und habe überflüssig. Ich habe die Fülle, da ich empfing durch Epaphroditus, was von euch kam: ein süßer Geruch, ein angenehmes Opfer, Gott gefällig.
19Mein Gott aber fülle aus alle eure Notdurft nach seinem Reichtum in der Herrlichkeit in Christo Jesu.
20Gott aber, unserm Vater, sei Ehre von Ewigkeit zu Ewigkeit! Amen.
21Grüßet alle Heiligen in Christo Jesu. Es grüßen euch die Brüder, die bei mir sind.
22Es grüßen euch alle Heiligen, sonderlich aber die von des Kaisers Hause.
23Die Gnade unsers HERRN Jesu Christi sei mit euch allen! Amen.

1ASÍ que, hermanos míos amados y deseados, gozo y corona mía, estad así firmes en el Señor, amados.
2A Euodias ruego, y á Syntychê exhorto, que sientan lo mismo en el Señor.
3Asimismo te ruego también á ti, hermano compañero, ayuda á las que trabajaron juntamente conmigo en el evangelio, con Clemente también, y los demás mis colaboradores, cuyos nombres están en el libro de la vida.
4Gozaos en el Señor siempre: otra vez digo: Que os gocéis.
5Vuestra modestia sea conocida de todos los hombres. El Señor está cerca.
6Por nada estéis afanosos; sino sean notorias vuestras peticiones delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con hacimiento de gracias.
7Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepuja todo entendimiento, guardará vuestros corazones y vuestros entendimientos en Cristo Jesús.
8Por lo demás, hermanos, todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo honesto, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo amable, todo lo que es de buen nombre; si hay virtud alguna, si alguna alabanza, en esto pensad.
9Lo que aprendisteis y recibisteis y oísteis y visteis en mí, esto haced; y el Dios de paz será con vosotros.
10Mas en gran manera me gocé en el Señor de que ya al fin ha reflorecido vuestro cuidado de mí; de lo cual aun estabais solícitos, pero os faltaba la oportunidad.
11No lo digo en razón de indigencia, pues he aprendido á contentarme con lo que tengo.
12Sé estar humillado, y sé tener abundancia: en todo y por todo estoy enseñado, así para hartura como para hambre, así para tener abundancia como para padecer necesidad.
13Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece.
14Sin embargo, bien hicisteis que comunicasteis juntamente á mi tribulación.
15Y sabéis también vosotros, oh Filipenses, que al principio del evangelio, cuando partí de Macedonia, ninguna iglesia me comunicó en razón de dar y recibir, sino vosotros solos.
16Porque aun á Tesalónica me enviasteis lo necesario una y dos veces.
17No porque busque dádivas; mas busco fruto que abunde en vuestra cuenta.
18Empero todo lo he recibido, y tengo abundancia: estoy lleno, habiendo recibido de Epafrodito lo que enviasteis, olor de suavidad, sacrificio acepto, agradable á Dios.
19Mi Dios, pues, suplirá todo lo que os falta conforme á sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús.
20Al Dios pues y Padre nuestro sea gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
21Saludad á todos los santos en Cristo Jesús. Los hermanos que están conmigo os saludan.
22Todos los santos os saludan, y mayormente los que son de casa de César.

1Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.
2I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.
3And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.
4Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.
5Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.
6Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.
7And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
8Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.
9Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.
10But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.
11Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.
12I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.
13I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.
14Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.
15Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.
16For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.
17Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.
18But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.
19But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.
20Now unto God and our Father be glory for ever and ever. Amen.
21Salute every saint in Christ Jesus. The brethren which are with me greet you.
22All the saints salute you, chiefly they that are of Caesar’s household.
23The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all. Amen.
World English Bible
1Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved.
2I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same way in the Lord.
3Yes, I beg you also, true partner, help these women, for they labored with me in the Good News with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.
4Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”
5Let your gentleness be known to all men. The Lord is at hand.
6In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.
7And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.
8Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report: if there is any virtue and if there is anything worthy of praise, think about these things.
9Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.
10But I rejoice in the Lord greatly that now at length you have revived your thought for me; in which you did indeed take thought, but you lacked opportunity.
11Not that I speak because of lack, for I have learned in whatever state I am, to be content in it.
12I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.
13I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.
14However you did well that you shared in my affliction.
15You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.
16For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to my need.
17Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account.
18But I have all things and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.
19My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
20Now to our God and Father be the glory forever and ever! Amen.
21Greet every saint in Christ Jesus. The brothers who are with me greet you.
