Daher, meine geliebten Brüder, nach denen ich mich sehne, ihr meine Freude und meine Krone: stehet in dieser Weise fest im Herrn, Geliebte!

ASÍ que, hermanos míos amados y deseados, gozo y corona mía, estad así firmes en el Señor, amados.

Therefore, my brethren dearly beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, so stand fast in the Lord, my dearly beloved.

Therefore, my brothers, beloved and longed for, my joy and crown, stand firm in the Lord in this way, my beloved.

Die Evodia ermahne ich und ebenso die Syntyche, eines Sinnes zu sein im Herrn.

A Euodias ruego, y á Syntychê exhorto, que sientan lo mismo en el Señor.

I beseech Euodias, and beseech Syntyche, that they be of the same mind in the Lord.

I exhort Euodia, and I exhort Syntyche, to think the same way in the Lord.

Ja, ich bitte auch dich, mein Syzygus: nimm dich als echter Genosse ihrer an! Sie haben mir ja im Kampf für die Heilsbotschaft Beistand geleistet im Verein mit Klemens und meinen übrigen Mitarbeitern, deren Namen im Buche des Lebens verzeichnet stehen.

Asimismo te ruego también á ti, hermano compañero, ayuda á las que trabajaron juntamente conmigo en el evangelio, con Clemente también, y los demás mis colaboradores, cuyos nombres están en el libro de la vida.

And I intreat thee also, true yokefellow, help those women which laboured with me in the gospel, with Clement also, and with other my fellowlabourers, whose names are in the book of life.

Yes, I beg you also, true partner, help these women, for they labored with me in the Good News with Clement also, and the rest of my fellow workers, whose names are in the book of life.

Freuet euch im Herrn allezeit! Noch einmal wiederhole ich’s: »Freuet euch!«

Gozaos en el Señor siempre: otra vez digo: Que os gocéis.

Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.

Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, “Rejoice!”

Laßt eure Sanftmut allen Menschen kund werden: der Herr ist nahe!

Vuestra modestia sea conocida de todos los hombres. El Señor está cerca.

Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.

Sorgt euch um nichts, sondern laßt in jeder Lage eure Anliegen durch Gebet und Flehen verbunden mit Danksagung vor Gott kund werden!

Por nada estéis afanosos; sino sean notorias vuestras peticiones delante de Dios en toda oración y ruego, con hacimiento de gracias.

Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.

Dann wird der Friede Gottes, der höher ist als aller Verstand, eure Herzen und euer ganzes Denken in Christus Jesus bewahren.

Y la paz de Dios, que sobrepuja todo entendimiento, guardará vuestros corazones y vuestros entendimientos en Cristo Jesús.

And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

Endlich, liebe Brüder: alles, was wahr ist, was ehrbar, was gerecht, was rein, was liebenswert, was unanstößig ist, sei es irgendeine Tugend oder etwas Lobenswertes, darauf seid bedacht!

Por lo demás, hermanos, todo lo que es verdadero, todo lo honesto, todo lo justo, todo lo puro, todo lo amable, todo lo que es de buen nombre; si hay virtud alguna, si alguna alabanza, en esto pensad.

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things.

Was ihr auch (von mir) gelernt und überkommen, gehört und an mir gesehen habt, das tut: dann wird der Gott des Friedens mit euch sein.

Lo que aprendisteis y recibisteis y oísteis y visteis en mí, esto haced; y el Dios de paz será con vosotros.

Those things, which ye have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, do: and the God of peace shall be with you.

Do the things which you learned, received, heard, and saw in me, and the God of peace will be with you.

Es ist für mich aber eine hohe Freude im Herrn gewesen, daß ihr jetzt endlich wieder in die günstige Lage gekommen seid, fürsorglich an mich zu denken; ihr habt zwar immer daran gedacht, befandet euch aber äußerlich nicht in der Lage (zur Ausführung).

Mas en gran manera me gocé en el Señor de que ya al fin ha reflorecido vuestro cuidado de mí; de lo cual aun estabais solícitos, pero os faltaba la oportunidad.

But I rejoiced in the Lord greatly, that now at the last your care of me hath flourished again; wherein ye were also careful, but ye lacked opportunity.

Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content.

ich verstehe mich darauf, in Ärmlichkeit und ebenso auch im Überfluß zu leben: in alles und jedes bin ich eingeweiht, sowohl satt zu sein als auch zu hungern, sowohl Überfluß zu haben als Mangel zu leiden;

Sé estar humillado, y sé tener abundancia: en todo y por todo estoy enseñado, así para hartura como para hambre, así para tener abundancia como para padecer necesidad.

I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need.

I know how to be humbled, and I also know how to abound. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret both to be filled and to be hungry, both to abound and to be in need.

alles vermag ich in ihm, der mich stark macht.

Todo lo puedo en Cristo que me fortalece.

I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.

Trotzdem: ihr habt wohl daran getan, daß ihr mir in meiner bedrängten Lage eure Teilnahme bewiesen habt.

Sin embargo, bien hicisteis que comunicasteis juntamente á mi tribulación.

Notwithstanding ye have well done, that ye did communicate with my affliction.

However you did well that you shared in my affliction.

Ihr wißt aber selbst, liebe Philipper, daß im Anfang (meiner Verkündigung) der Heilsbotschaft, als ich aus Mazedonien weggegangen war, keine Gemeinde mit mir in das Wechselverhältnis des Gebens und Nehmens getreten ist als ihr allein;

Y sabéis también vosotros, oh Filipenses, que al principio del evangelio, cuando partí de Macedonia, ninguna iglesia me comunicó en razón de dar y recibir, sino vosotros solos.

Now ye Philippians know also, that in the beginning of the gospel, when I departed from Macedonia, no church communicated with me as concerning giving and receiving, but ye only.

You yourselves also know, you Philippians, that in the beginning of the Good News, when I departed from Macedonia, no assembly shared with me in the matter of giving and receiving but you only.

denn schon als ich in Thessalonike war, habt ihr mir mehr als einmal eine Unterstützung für meinen Bedarf zukommen lassen.

Porque aun á Tesalónica me enviasteis lo necesario una y dos veces.

For even in Thessalonica ye sent once and again unto my necessity.

For even in Thessalonica you sent once and again to my need.

Nicht daß es mir um die Gabe zu tun wäre; nein, für mich handelt es sich um die Frucht, die als Guthaben auf eure Rechnung kommt.

No porque busque dádivas; mas busco fruto que abunde en vuestra cuenta.

Not because I desire a gift: but I desire fruit that may abound to your account.

Not that I seek for the gift, but I seek for the fruit that increases to your account.

Ich habe aber alles (was ihr gesandt habt) richtig erhalten und habe nun mehr als genug: ich lebe in Hülle und Fülle, seitdem ich von Epaphroditus eure Zuwendung erhalten habe, einen lieblichen Wohlgeruch, ein willkommenes, Gott wohlgefälliges Opfer.

Empero todo lo he recibido, y tengo abundancia: estoy lleno, habiendo recibido de Epafrodito lo que enviasteis, olor de suavidad, sacrificio acepto, agradable á Dios.

But I have all, and abound: I am full, having received of Epaphroditus the things which were sent from you, an odour of a sweet smell, a sacrifice acceptable, wellpleasing to God.

But I have all things and abound. I am filled, having received from Epaphroditus the things that came from you, a sweet-smelling fragrance, an acceptable and well-pleasing sacrifice to God.

Mein Gott aber wird euch nach seinem Reichtum alles, was ihr bedürft, in Herrlichkeit zukommen lassen in Christus Jesus.

Mi Dios, pues, suplirá todo lo que os falta conforme á sus riquezas en gloria en Cristo Jesús.

But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.

My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.

Unserm Gott und Vater aber sei die Ehre in alle Ewigkeit!

Al Dios pues y Padre nuestro sea gloria por los siglos de los siglos. Amén.
