Proverbios 11

Quem se oferece para garantir o crédito de outra pessoa acabará pagando caro por isso. Se você se negar a fazê-lo, estará seguro.

Con ansiedad será afligido el que fiare al extraño: mas el que aborreciere las fianzas vivirá confiado.

He that is surety for a stranger shall smart for it: and he that hateth suretiship is sure.

He who is collateral for a stranger will suffer for it, but he who refuses pledges of collateral is secure.
